Hold saber with Index finger and thumb turn light saber with weight of the saber so as you move your other fingers you point the saber and flick it.its lame but just to get the motion correct I used my other hand to flip it just to understand what was going on lol
Great video, I was trying to figure out the hand motions in my head but none of it made sense until I was holding my lightsabers. Within a few minutes, I am able to do this relatively fluently with both hands. Thank you for the video!
My lightsaber timeline: •Used a pencil as a lightsaber •Used a paper craft as a lightsaber •Used a frikin’ flashlight as one •Bought a Luke Skywalker lightsaber • *Learns to use it like a pro*
1:used a toy *Qui-Gon Jinn* lightsaber 2:used a Space Sword lightsaber 3:used my cardboard crafting *skillz* to make a cardboard lightsaber 4:used a piece of cardboard and a pen 5:used a frikin *KYLO REN* lightsaber
I self taught myself this. It’s a piece of cake to me. I actually can mimic the battle between obiwan and Darth maul with my friend almost perfectly. Edit: it took forever to learn the battle btw
+Geometry Dash LolFace Me too only problem is I'll have to get used to the weight of the saber and handle. Most of the handles I tried out are extremely uncomfortable XD So I'm adding a cushion to the handle of my custom saber.
Schönes Video, das hat mich jetzt dazu gebracht eure neue Internetseite zu besuchen und mir die neuen Videos mal anzuschauen. Die alten kannte ich ja bereits, den Sinnloswirbel habe ich noch nie hingekriegt.
I’ve always been shit at a lightsaber , so doing this move for the first time with a DARKSABER seemed really tough all of the other tutorials made it look like you needed to do rocket science , this was so quick and easy within 1 hour I got this mastered I know it’s been 7 years since this was made but if the creator reads this The results are amazing you broke it down perfectly and saved me throwing the darksaber into the wall or my eye so simple have a great life
General Grevious : I can overwhelm anyone when I spin my lightsabers Darth Maul : Am I a joke to you ? Me : just do the X-twirl. The entire star wars community : *HOL' UP*
I always tried to twirl my lightsaber and failed. Then I stumbled on this video and it made lightsaber tricks so much easier. Thank you Saberproject for your tutorials.
Doing it with ur right and left is easy to do even if your main hand is left. Im able to do both sides just doing this almost everyday with real heavy katanas and lightsabers of course. It took me 12 1/2 years to get all of my training down to a tee but hey worth it.
Me too and in the first day i’m hacina progress (ok i’m gonna tell you the truth when i was little i liked playing and doing tricks with a stick, so i have a little ecperience, but come on don’t give up
Here's my recommendation, specially if you are going to enter in a contest or a sparring, keep your hand as closed as possible, at first you can do it with your han open like the guy in the video, with practice you'll be able to keep your hand closed, it's just technique and for making sure it doesn't fall. I'm an expert in several martial arts, including Eskrima Kali, where this trick is based on with the bastones (commonly known as eskrima sticks), this is a really great channel, enjoy learning with your lightsabers and may the force be with you
Very helpful 👍. I tried this with my practice saber and it works very well. My practice saber is of Ezra Bridger's blaster saber so it is a bit difficult because of the extra front part, but works well with my Anakin saber since it does not have the blaster part.
ive never tried sword spinning before and I recently made like a paper blade kinda thing and just tried this tutorial and got it first try watching. great vid.
Thanks, I've seen this spin in many movies and series but I couldn't figure out the hand motion, I did it for the first time today after watching less than a minute of your video, I did it right the second try, Thanksssss
This video wouldn't load for me so I went to my modem to see if i could fix the problem. Halfway through fixing it, i released i had been absent-mindedly twirling my lightsaber!
The tip ill give is to use momentum and a long object like a metal ruler to practice if you dont have a lightsaber, oh and follow the movements specifically in this video, it's what makes the trick visually cool
