Another good idea is to check on the tank to bowl bolts and washers and the spud gasket. If the rubber washers or the gasket are breaking down,, now is the time to replace them as well.

Wish I could find this brand of fill valve online. The only website that I could find that sells it doesn't list a price without creating an account with them :(
