This is a redo of the second lab lecture/discussion video in the Basics series. It is more exhaustive and includes discussion comparing the Micrologix1000 to the MicroLogix1100. Very specific information on the configuration of I/O memory and Communication Channels for the MicroLogix1100. This presentation completely replaces the earlier video and covers additional material regarding specifically the MicroLogix1100.

Alan, I have been watching the plcprofessor for almost 6 months. I worked with PLC units for several years. I encourage you to watch all of the videos on the plcprofessor channel. You should visit the main web site and look at what is available at the store. If you go through all of the videos, books, labs and other training, you will have a great start building the basics. Professor will describe how you can download a free version of a lite version of RSLogic programming software and an emulator. You can do the work from only your laptop. The hours you spend watching will be well spent.
