Big changes are underway for the Baskets family. After 49 years, Chip decides it’s finally time to move out of his mom’s place, but leaving the nest is hard. Christine and Ken move into a new home, but carpet emergencies and missing kitchen magnets make the transition rockier than expected. Dale has found kindred spirits with his fellow inhabitants at the RV park. Produced by FX Productions.

I came to watch this mashup this morning after learning of Louie Anderson's passing. I bet Louie would've never dreamed his breakout role would be playing a female character based on his own mother and would be so successful. Unfortunately, it was his last role but fortunately he left us with some epic comedy we can watch over and over Rest in peace Louie!

The best scene is Chip getting out of Martha's car after the drive through scene. Martha honks the horn to get his attention to ask him a question, but Chip's immediate reaction is to swing around and fling his milkshake into her windshield.

FR. This "best" clip doesn't even convey how good it is. In fact I don't like this clip, because it makes the show look goofball silly when it's not. The actual show is tragic dramedy with moments that made me cry from sadness and truly LOL at others. Louie A. is absolutely amazing and reminds me of my own mother. His commitment to her character has continually astounded me. The writing and dialogue are superb. And nevermind the locations and cinematography and the use of retro cars and fashion and the correct associations and terminology of different subcultures. It's offbeat and unusual while still being highly relatable. I binged the first 3.5 seasons recently without sleep before finishing, I was so drawn in. It's only underrated because Louis C.K. is part of the production, and we all know Louis was dealt a bad hand he didn't deserve.

Just finished Season 4 today. Such a good show with great characters that you see all develop thru out. Zach G and Louie Anderson just feel like a genuine mother and son it’s hilarious

Anyone else picturing Zach Gallifianakis’ twin brother character Dale from the TV show Baskets delivering that line? “You’re not for the streets, Priscilla!!!” It seems that Priscilla isn’t the only sassy one in the family.
