Today we head out to our local at the time Richard bong state parks Vern wolf lake. I tell myself I want crappie though I don’t have that gut feeling so I’m prepared for whatever presents itself. I head over to the docks take mental notes and slowly adapt to produce results so I can present you this wonderful video.

im from kenosha and was out there 1 week after him and only caught 1-12' northern and 2 blue gull

That lake was completely killed off back in Jan 2021. Good to see some fish again in the lake. I would routinely catch 18 to 20 inch Largemouth and huge pike. There won't be any decent sized fish in the lake for a few more years and that was a warmouth 😁

I have yet to get skunked on pike here. I only have this years experience in documenting video by video. Watch the first to the last I slowly figure it out. It’s hard for me to even believe anything was killed here as abundant as multiple species and quality species there are. I talked to an older local whom suggested they did something with eagle lake and when they drained it they brought those fish over here to Vern wolf. Happy Fishing 🎣
