Bass taken over replaced the Cod in UK waters mostly near everywhere in England. Fortunately still a few cod here in North East for us. 🎣🐟😎👍🏽

Nicely done mate!! I've had a little dabble at my local creek recently. Collecting softies and peelers at low and then fishing the same spot as the tide floods. I love it. Daytime seems to be better than after dark for some reason.

Great video again, I fished a couple of weeks ago on a late afternoon/evening tide, I had 8 Bass upto 30cm, a small black bream and a nice size gillhead bream all on ragworm, was nice to get out and catch something

Bass fishing for me has been terrific my last 6 sessions I've had 5 at 42cm and around 15 plus just under 38cm all on lug and rag baits on a 3 hook loop rig down my local river thames.

Excellent video as usual, nice that you fish places near me which helps me with what to do as I'm new to sea fishing.

Catching plenty at dungeness arrive at low water pump a few yellowtails wait for the tide to hit the shingle then plop a bait 50 yards ...up and over rig You get about 3 hours til the dogfish turn up then you might aswell go home but that 3 hours can produce lots of bass

Love to be into them but seem to be the king of dogfish and blanking this year, some lovely bass caught around the minehead area by others thou

In the river medway we used to be lots of flounders but since about 1980 lots of small bass eat the small fry of the flatys

Nice silver Wayne laaaaaa.....bass are pretty easy to catch on Merseyside/North Wales if you fish in favourable conditions...unlike winter cod which have been like rocking horse shit

Well as a bass angler for the last 54 years I've seen massive changes I went over to lure fishing 14 years back And caught around 500 a year But that has ended due to over fishing But saying that it seems like we have had some great brood years Yes there's loads of bass around but and it's a big But the sizes are down Doubles seem bloody hard to get I've had 8 biggest 15.8 Ut the last 14 years they are very few are far between In the southeast year its dire weather and tons of mayrot whats still with us Just hope it goes soon bazz

My bass fishing season has been tough. Good bait, sensible marks/tides/conditions = blank for bass. I've had congers and sole - but no bass. Gotta keep trying I suppose

Ain’t been fishing since Wales last year with Mario, can’t get excited about catching pin whiting, dabs and thornies on our coast over winter after Wales threw some decent fish up, hopefully not long until the water clears out a bit and then it will be time for lure fishing for bass 👍

Alcohol rehab going well great support from my family...even manage to get down to ches for a day and didnt blank! 1 bass... 7 hounds 4 eels and only the 1 dog!😂... all on a flapper with rag! Im up in Angus on the East of Scotland. Caught my first ever Bass last November, 50cm. Near fell over when i pulled it out of the surf. They seem to be more common now, though I've no idea how to target the buggers.

Nowt wrong with that sized Bass. I managed 4 micro Bass at Shotley Marina in Suffolk last week. Not jealous of yours much.

Great video as usual, as for Bass out of Lyme we had bait balls and birds and stacks of Bass, 20 plus on the boat in less than an hour biggest went around the 7lb mark. The biggest question is why!! is that we now restrict the amount of Bass landed or is it climate change or a bit of both???

Hi Wayne haven't been out in a while and now iv strained my cruciate ligament ffs🙈 I have been fishing for conger tho over the winter had one 28lb......do you ever fish in ireland?

In answer to your question , I'm a sad fisherman. This is my second year of not being able to go fishing , firstly through lack of time to get to the coast as I live in Newbury and its a pain in the arse to get to my favourite beach ,yes the beach of dreams , mostly broken in my case. As of 12th December I have been off sick recovering from a brain operation I had no idea I had a problem with until I just collapsed and fell the the floor and couldn't move either my legs or feet or get back up again. Now i've nearly recovered and during my recovery the engine on the car decided that it wanted go wrong so basically £ 600 later I now can't afford the trip down now as the savings have taken a hit as well. But hey I'm still alive and will have the time soon to go again soon so fingers crossed I don't snap the rods in half on the first cast and that I do get a bit or two and maybe even a fish or two ,even a dog would do, there you now know how desperate I am to go. ha ha Great video again so keep them coming until I can get my relife fix of fishing again. I've only got 9 and 1/2 months to go now before I retire so I'm counting down the days now lol. Tight lines to any and everyone taking the time read all this. cheers guys and girls.
