I wish I would have had someone like you to teach me to cast and fish when I was a younger man. I fished with my grandfather only as a child. He would go on fishing trips to the Gulf for red snapper and his company, Orkin, would have a fish fry for families when they got back. Great childhood memories. Thank you for rekindling them for me.

You get a lot of gorgeous fisherwomen comments and they are true and you know it but……gal, you KNOW your gamefish, your baits, water conditions etc. please continue. We all could learn a lot from you period. The scenery and the calm serenity and beautiful areas you fish are, for me, the best medicine for my soul at 56 yrs young. Bravo and I’m subscribed.

Funny how time goes around. In the mid- 70's I worked there as a park ranger, days and nights while I attended USF and there was none of that growth in the lake. No pads or cattails. Nice to see it returning to a natural state and the fish coming on. The land was owned back then by Pinellas County as their primary drinking water source and they let Hillsborough County use it as a park. I'm guessing it's still the same arrangement.

I used to live in Wisconsin. Tons of lakes, ponds, streams and rivers. Fishing was incredible. They would bit almost instantly...

That "Buzz Bait" at 6:10 😆🤣 Just had a lake in GA evaluated by a biologist. All bass are the same small size... smaller than these. Be interesting to see how old these fish are. They may be as big as they're going to get in that lake. Seeing how they were all the same size and seemed to jump on the hook, there may be limited amount of food and nutrient. That lake reminds me of lake Broward in Pomona Park FL. You will catch tons of bass but they are all 1-2 lbs. It's probably over populated with bass. Awesome catch super fun fishing!

Need to watch sticking your hands down in that water when releasing those fish. Some of those lakes have some pretty big alligators laying around beneath those Lilly pads I love it beautiful and can fish damn what a combo

Lake park is one of my favorite local lakes . I usually go there once or twice a month . Grabbed a 5#er a couple weeks ago . Another good thing is no gas motors allowed .

Good video….Starvation Lake? Obviously some hungry fish…..😉 wow….there’s got to be some bigger bass in that lake. It looks like it has all the elements of a good fishery with a lot of fish.
