@@wintutorials2282 Yeah, because your camera can't see a fast moving object right. Have you ever noticed a Foto of a fast moving landscape looking somewhat warped? The camera scans from top to bottom. And when the scan has a different frequency than the speaker/scene it looks like this. This is a very oversimplified explanation, please keep that in mind.

I have the same woofer icm with the jbl monoblock a3001. First in a bmw e90. It was amazing, now after 3 years I installed it in my mercedes w213. Boy it sounds really really good! Good quality and price. a underrated subwoofer!
For the record, the subwoofer probably "juggles" or "waves" like that is due to the tearing effect (google it). The camera syncs horizontally, and the lower refreshrate (or too big frequency of the woofer) causes the effect on the camera. You wouldn't see that IRL with your eyes..
Subs can take their maximum rated power for a ''short'' period of time,that if you are not sending clipped signal (just clean power) It was hot and there was a smell of roasted coil after being done with this vid Weirdly.there was little to no distortion
it's to see some flex,not hear bass,bass you listen home in ´whatever song you like Im obsessed with very low frequencies that you can barely hear but feel with your body And i think the flex on that cone looks dope :P Cheers ^^
I love JBL. JBL will be the only portable Bluetooth speakers I’ll ever own. SUBS I will buy for my home sound bar with a sub. Because I feel like my current sub in the system isn’t as good or seems like it has lower end frequency like real car subs do. I mean don’t get me wrong. It’s loud for waking up the neighbors in the apartment. But I don’t feel like it’s loud enough. So I’m thinking of getting a new 8-inch subs and replacing the stock right out with a brand new JBL speaker.
it's not that simple bass tube can respond loud to a certain frequency but be inacurate to the rest of the spectrum Depends on how much money you wanna invest in your car audio
munavvir munu I run 2 skar audio vd 10s in a sealed box in my truck at 1 ohm 1500 watts rms on a skar rp1500.1 and can get down to 20 hz audibly. Anything lower is just rattling body panels
Alexis King t line for sq... tbh, sealed sounds lime shit to me... it cant hit lows at all... ive heard MANY sealed enclosures, none have impressed me what so ever... t line, or line port is the best way. Tube port is meh, bandpass is meh, and sealed, no. Just no.
here in 4 or so months i might be playing this song on my car speakers, as right now the 2 rear speakers are blown, and would sound much better with new ones
1. I really hate that song in demo vids because it just doesn't show the true potential to good subwoofers 2. That song is also very monotonous to listen to 3. There was no audible bass coming from that s3 whatsoever 4. Why does this dork have the hatch/trunk open through the entire video when post viewers want to hear what the system sounds like from the cab with it closed? 5. SMH!
it's doing a lot of "flexing" alright but not much output for all of that movement.I own a 12" Alpine Type S driven by an Alpine MRV-M500 500+ watt amplifier in a slot ported A-Trend Box and while my woofer barely moves and produces way better bass than that. is that the stock enclosure which the sub came in as a package? Regardless , you might need to switch to a better box which is better tuned, otherwise you are just wasting power and will prematurely blow either your sub,amp,or both.

First,the box is tuned to the sub by JBL,since they sell it as a package Second,most of the frequencies in this song are so low that the port does not “load” the cone with air aka(bellow tuning frequency) Third,it is filmed with a phone camera so don’t expect the mic to have picked up the low rumble And finally,I filmed it for the effect the lightning had on this particular day which made the sub look awesome while flexing 😛 I’m glad your setup sounds louder and better,after all,that’s what everyone wants in car audio ^^ Cheers
Oh so it was a package , got it. I'm really surprised at JBL, Most manufacturers will tune their enclosures according to the lowest resonant frequency of the sub so as to get maximum efficiency as well as low frequency extension. Yes I'm aware that this is through a phone camera, despite that I can tell that the woofer is capable of playing low, it is being strangled by the enclosure though. You are better off plugging the port,your bass quality will increase, despite a slight loss in output.
Eddie Lomax not worth it man... could have got a JL 8" or 10" that would have blown that lil jbl out of the water and into space. Not to mention if you got a used jl, you could have gotten a 13w7ae for that price if its used bro... waste...
considering the frequencies in this song,i have no ideea what you are talking about.Your Sóny xPlode?! You need to understand that under 40 hertz,the subwoofer itself does nothing but flex wildly while the box and the tuning of the port can actually create pressure that you can hear and feel as bass... But hey, i dont own a xPlode so goodluck and good bass ^^
I have a smaller subwoofer capable of 1300.. and it was cheaper than this box either.. it has a very brutal bass and it can be heard trough a video too. It just rips the car :D
@@TheEddielomax Nah no lottery, i bought a cheap Blaupunkt subwoofer to be a donor for the housing, im just ripped out the crappy used woofers and replaced them with nice fancy Alpinas :D I can send you a video though
