Back to bass(ics) with this one. I used the Ebow on my Overwater Scott Devine fretless. It's strung with Labella flats which I prefer for the Ebow. Roundwounds strings with an Ebow produce a tone that is too bright and brittle for me.
I played the bass through the Line 6 Glitch Delay which gives the 'accompaniment'. A good bit of post production happened in Cubase where I added the Valhalla Supermassive giving the choir type backing. That's really the mermaids singing along with me.
