The moment he said McDonald's and its support for terrorism, he was abruptly interrupted, and they immediately went on a commercial break.

Seems like the only thing Pierce got out of all this was Israel has the right to defend itself. Israel can do what it wants, when it wants, how it wants, anytime it wants, as many times as it wants and the way it wants. Israel's relationship with Israel is iron clad. I condemn Hamas.

There is also the fact that Egypt already has nearly 10 million refugees as it is. Jordan also has over a million and both countries simply do not have the economic power to host millions of more refugees

As ethnic Macedonian I want to say and point out that we have the same problem with the Greeks and state of Greece .... From there is the problem Macedonia-Greece dispute.... Totally the same pattern of Palestine-Israel .... Taking land, refugees etc .... The first napalm bombs trown in history and in Europe were thrown over on ethnic Macedonians in today's North Greece ,back than civil greek war.

700 000 palestinians 1948 were displaced, how many of those are alive? now there are 5 millions palestinian refugees...sure, they all wear the key from their homes on their necks, even the ones who were born in Lebanon or in Syria in 3rd generation. One thing to mention. The great deal that Arafat got, wasnt that good. It was the best deal offered, but if you read the details, no state would accept the conditions. Yes it had some improvements for Palestinians, but it was not a deal between partners, it was best load of scraps offered to that point. It was also structured in a way that any right wing admin in Israel could easily derail it. That it was a good deal for the Palestinians is an ahistorical take. It could have been a average (at best) start, but you cant blame Arafat for running away from that deal. Could the camp David plan been a start of a reasonable solution? Yes. But by itself it was a half measure with no gaurd rails for the Palestinian side. The deal offered by Olmert was actually not awful, but by that time Likud administrations had commited transgressions that left the PA distrustful. Now Iran is powerful, the right in Israel is powerful and the peace camps are weak. Until the International community forces it, there wont be peace.

How about Jews who were forced to flee from Arab states before and after the creation of Israel. I think the guy is smart but he seems to have a more naive approach to the problem even if he tries to be as reasonable as he can. But he is one of the guys who are pro palaistine and reasonable about it and unlike a lot of them condemns hamas and wants the palaistine to be free of them as well as the palaistines to have their state. His heart is in the right place, he knows a lot about history but I think the problem is more complex than he thinks.

Bassem Youseff and Jon Stewart are truly brothers with different mothers. Both of them in completely different interviews said exactly the same thing, and both are absolutely right.

But the reason Egypt and Syria f.eks isn’t taking in any Palestinian refugees is because many muslim countries already tried and it ended up in caos? I mean the Palestinian freedom organisation tried to overthrow the goverment in Kuwait and it ended up in everyone getting sent back to Palestine. Both refugees and pfo’s. Same thing happend in another country too, maybe Jordan or Sudan I don’t quite remember. But this is simple history anyway.
