To be the singer between Tarja and Floor is really hard. In my opinion Annett has a nice voice and in opposition to most Nightwish fans I think the Annett part in between Tarja an Floor fits perfectly and was very important for the progress of Nightwish Musik, because it is a break in the Style of Nightwish and gave them the chance to improve and form a new idea of what Music they are performing. In my opinion Annett ist the connecting link between Tarja an Floor, because Floor is capable of Singing in a operatic style like Tarja but also have the Power of a more Heavy Hard Rock Voice so she brings the two worlds of Tarja and Annett together in the Music of Nightwish. (at least Floor is over all in every genre fantastic and one of the most versatile Voices i know) Just my two cents. I think Amaranth ist the strongest song of this Album performed by Annett imho. I love Nightwish since end of 90's.🖤

You nailed it... Annette' has a good voice but her appearance in Nightwish between Tarja and Floor places her between the legendary soaring operatics of the one and the unmatched versatility and style range of the other. That's a tough spot to be in!

Thanks Bassi, It's high time to watch this music video. At first sight, it seems as though the video sequences with the angel don't fit well with the lyrics. The lyrics appear profound, using poetic language to explore themes of doubt, isolation, belief, reciprocity, and the pursuit of something eternal and pure. The angel in the video reflects these themes. Amaranth, known as the "Flower of Hope," is supposed to bloom forever. Nowadays, we feed birds with amaranth. It seems to me that the angel is healed with the help of the people who took him into their home and by the amaranth, allowing him to finally fly up to the sky where he belongs.
