Really loved the video guys! Love Bastion so I’m always happy to see rep. Minor thing though, at 11:12 Bastion should’ve been at 38k instead of 33k (10 from PR + 10 from boost + 5 from Owl skill). Obviously irrelevant since it got PGd but it’s still worth remembering.

Been watching you guys since I was in high school 6 years ago. Some of my favorite videos of y’all were when Richard would pull off the craziest plot armor moments and clutch out a win. This match took me back and I’m happy to see Richard still has it. 🫡

Its a bit high roll, but the extra 5k on the Dragprincipal Morfessa turn couldn’t hurt, I guess

Gatekeeping is a bit of a stretch to jump to that conclusion. I think the context is just to confirm that you’re referring to the right format since this was a Standard game. I agree it could’ve been worded better.

How did Liafail get called during the first ride of the grade 3 Luard? Doesn't it only work when a grade 4 Luard is placed in VG? Just asking.

You need to discard a card with Bastion in its name to give a rearguard drive checks. 4 drive checks > 10k to the front row IMO

i played shiranui, and lost against bastion like 4 times in a row, because of the skill of bastion accord which cant be targeted and soul charge via owl where all g3s goes into soul, left only g0 to dominate via drop. also because of this , dominated g0 unit is not even strong enough to target grandeur edge where base atk is 28k. So far ive seen in the current meta before DZbt01 , shiranui are just lucky that the meta at that time that just a little people play bastion accord.@@NguyenNguyen-py4lj

all g3s goes into soul via owl, left only g1s and g0s to dominate, g3s front row cant be dominate, grandeur base atk 28k also active on opponents turn. saw people play shiranui vs accord, shiranui lost 3-4 times out of 5 fights. from what i see shiranui are just lucky didnt met accord user during meta before dzbt01 because fewer player player accord.@@NguyenNguyen-py4lj

@@NguyenNguyen-py4ljI'm consistently able to get around against both decks but i think its cause of my build tho, i utilize a lagrele for extra drive checks once on prime so there wont be any problems on my end as well as using defensive cards like hermonia and embrace dragon, definitely weaker than a normal bastion would be but works for me almost 40 cards with shield/defence skills but still having only 1 bastion accord is limiting sometimes against both of them when they are fully built
