Russell Summerton I felt Clooney had better chemistry with O'Donnell and played the millionaire play boy part better than Kilmer.

Joseph it sucks that George Clooney had terrible direction with his attempt as Batman I feel like George could of been a great Batman imagine him now as a old Bruce Wayne telling Dylan o brien to play terry. Keaton and O’Brien would be awesome

Michael E. Uslan is the main man responsible for getting the 1989 Batman movie made and bringing "The Batman" back to his roots. I highly suggest reading Michael E. Uslan's "The Boy Who Loved Batman" for a very excellent inspirational read! And one doesn't have to "love" Batman to "love" reading his book/story. You will love "The Boy Who Loved Batman" as I do of that I assure you.

ProMonarchyGenius Yeah I like the surreal comic book nature of them compared to Nolans more realistic take on Batman. That said Batman is way superior to Batman Returns imo, it holds up better. The opening scene of Batman Returns is just silly, along with a few others in the movie that don’t stand the test of time.

80’s was the best decade for popular films, as far as Hollywood went. Same goes for American popular music. Original ideas and passionate people made films for entertainment, instead of interjecting their politics and their own ideals onto the audience.
