i completely agree with your list red hood is my favorite dc character but when it comes to gameplay nightwing is the funnest i love using the shock batons
Despite the complaints people have with Jason in this game, I still love the Designs of both Arkham Knight and Red Hood in this game, something about the faceless red helmet/mask with the Actual red hood casting over it is really cool to me, and Troy Baker is Always a plus
It still angers me a little bit that Robin's hood can't be toggled on or off. It would've been so much better to be able to play as him with the hood up rather than the buzz cut. O well...
The worst part is that it’s not even a buzz cut, they just fucking shaved his head. And you can’t cover it up. That’s why I wish they’d included his Arkham City costume where he’s got it up, or worst case scenario he’s got it off, but he still has hair so he’s not ugly
Red Hood is definitely the easiest to play as seeing as he has instant takedown’s on the fly and for stealth, just get to a vantage point and shoot all the enemies, they won’t be able to find you
I agree they could have made Azrael more interesting rather being a Batman reskin. He had one of the best character design along with Scarecrow and he would have his own dlc after his side mission that would dive deeper into his character

When caboose mentioned dual play something hit me. What if, you know if a Knight remake is happening, we get free roam as all characters, but dual play is not longer limited. Imagine the acrobatic flair of a Catwoman and Nightwing dual-takedown or the brutality of a Red Hood and Harley one
My ranking: 8. Catwoman- Long animations, boring and useless gadgets, can’t glide like Batman or even jump like Harley and her climbable ceilings are just so unreliable and henchmen will sometimes spot you when you are up there and sometimes not. 7. Azrael- Batman reskin except with less gadgets 6. Batgirl- Batman reskin except with a more advanced remote hacking device. 5. Harley Quinn- She is OP in melee combat because of her mayhem mode, but is unbearable in stealth because my eyes literally start hurting irl if i stay in her detective mode for to long, also it’s unique but annoying that she can’t take out thugs silently in any way. I never play as her in predator maps. I also don’t like that when you use her version of the batarang to instantly KO a charging thug like you can with all other characters you lose your combo for literally no reason. 4. Nightwing- He looks cool and acts about the same as Batman in combat but is basically a less good Robin in predator since he can’t glide and has a meh selection of gadgets. 3. Red Hood- Not much to say here, he looks really cool, has satisfying melee moves, his guns are really useful in both melee and predator. (the flash bang sucks though) 2. Robin- he can glide like Batman, he has most of the absolutely essential gadgets plus a few new cool ones (unlike most others I actually like the snap flash). His only downside is that melee combat feels unsatisfying because of the sound design on his stick or whatever. I also don’t really mind that his hood is down even though that looks cooler. 1. Batman- No explanation needed.
For me personally, my list goes from worst to best as: Cat woman Harley Quinn Azrael Batgirl Nightwing Batman Robin Redhood The only reason I say Redhood and robin are above Batman is because I got tired of playing Batman and only Batman throughout the entire game, and the section where you get to also be robin is my favorite part of the game. For Redhood, it’s because he’s Redhood.
Awesome video Caboose, can we do this with the batmobiles as well? What I love about this game is each batmobile sounds and handles differently. My favorite in game is the arkham batmobile cause I look at it as the one he should be using since it's the OG from asylum and I have wanted to play it since first game and finally got too in knight. It sounds sooo menacing, that growl every time it stops is just so damn aggressive. But mannn it handles soooo badly lol like it just doesn't handle well at all. The best handling batmobile is for sure the BatmanVSuperman mobile. It glidessss man and that high pitched engine sound that never seems to stop increasing as you keep driving is so damn cool. It's my favorite to drive. The Tumblr is nostalgic because I grew up on the Bale movies. 89 batmobile is super cool as well.
Family you got the same tier list as me I literally knew the order he was going to say before you said it hella crazy and I feel you fam Nightwing is cold in this game very different very acrobatic very versatile and his team work with Batman is top notch especially with those escrima sticks adding the electricity effect definitely made him cooler and the different skins
I honestly really wish Rocksteady added skins for Batgirl and more suits for Red Hood since most of the other characters have more skins to choose from although it's not much but still and maybe more skins for Nightwing as well
I love how i’m replaying the game now on my PS5 and caboose is over here making videos for the game i love it i love the game i never beat it i played it when i was a kid and it was too sophisticated for me back then but now i’m going to finish all the levels and challenges till i have my name on the leaderboard good shit bro and keep it up this game is great man keep up the good work

I feel like If robin comes to the big screen we need to see Grayson as robin before he is nightwing which would fit perfectly the way battinsons Batman is rn because he would easily want to adopt an orphan and would probably restrict his freedom making him leave it would just work so well

@@Thestrongestyou like I think its great that the game exists, as it's nothing we've seen before in the arkham verse, but to me it's nit very appealing mainly because EVERY character is just guns. There were so many characters they could've grabbed and they grabbed two who mostly use guns, and then boomerang and king shark, but gave them guns. I'd take deathstroke over all of them, I mean he's already established and yeah he uses guns, but he's a melee guy much more than ranged. But it's their game, their choice.
I wanted to play as Red Hood so much, u pre-ordered at gamestop for early access and played his episode before the main game. He's also the reason I'm excited for Gotham Knights.
Red hood is cool, i played the game a year ago but only just bought it myself last week. I bought the season pass for a steal and played the red hood dlc. I wish it was longer though
For me azreal and batman are the same but batman has more gadgets so batman is at the top of my list of being the best playable character because I’m used to combat being him and predator maps as him. He’s got lots of gadgets than other playable characters which is quite useful if I want to lure someone in a spot or take them down quickly secondly it’s gotta be red hood. He looks pretty badass and I think most of my screenshots of Arkham knight was of him. He’s fast in combat and has a variety of fighting styles and he’s got the zip kick which is very useful the stun grenade is meh it allows you to to beatdowns from a distance but I wish he has a smoke bomb. He’s also op in predator maps because of his hang gun which instantly kills anyone he also had a pretty badass dlc mission. Azreal is like batman like I said but doesn’t have as many gadgets like batman so he’s placed in the top third. I think he could be improved on by adding more fight styles for him which could’ve been done if he was given a dlc mission. Next is nightwing I’ve always enjoyed nightwing in combat his fighting style was satisfying to watch shame same can’t be said for playing predator maps as him he is shit not a lot of useful gadgets he also had nice looking suit and a fun dlc mission. Next is batgirl basically like batman but better fighting style. She was also quite good a stealth but unfortunately no voice synthesiser which made her the top 5 the dlc was probably the best Arkham knight dlc loved the suit . Robin is next and I didn’t enjoy the combat he has a nice fighting style but it was too slow but thankfully his gadgets make up for it and they are quite helpful in predator maps. The dlc mission was shit because somehow you needed to get past three turrets and an armed brute. His suit was also quite shit because he was bold every time I wanted to play through Arkham knight again always made sure to equip a suit which has hair. He also looked sick with a hood on in ac. Next is catwoman she was the second least favourite playable character because she was ok in combat quite fast no where near batgirl and nightwing she was also shit in predator maps because of her 3 gadgets that were useless except the bolas and how slow it was to traverse with her it made it difficult to get away from thugs. She also had one of the worst dlc missions because it was difficult to get fight those robots when there wasn’t even much space because of riddler and his ego but it was the most satisfying because we stole money off the worst character in the games and destroyed his facility. The costume was good very out there I’m pretty sure most of the fan base liked it. Next his Harley Quinn she was the worst. Slow in combat slow at traversing heck you can’t even traverse as her it’s like being a ped made it quite difficult to play as her in predator maps I think one time on one of the dlc challenge maps which was a predator room it actually took me about a month and a half to complete it in 11 minutes that’s how bad she was for me liked her psychosis mode he gadgets were unique had an ok outfit ok fighting style had a fun dlc that me made question how she defeated nightwing who was trained by batman.

My list from worst to best is pretty much the same list. Azreal, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Batgirl, Robin, RedHood and Nightwing. Reasoning. Azreal is a clone of Batman, cool skin and cool backstory. Harley Quinn is interesting but prefer the rest. Catwoman is really cool in stealth mode but I find the whip boring at times for my play style. Batgirl would be higher up but she's definitely fun to play but she feels to close to being Batman which is why personally I lowered her on the list. Robin is awesome has a cool fighting style and I love the homage to the short hair Robin from the old Batman movies Batman Returns etc. RedHood is my second favorite Robin and second favorite dlc character in the game I really loved the way he uses the guns with his melee it's magnificent. Nightwing is my favorite I might be biased idk but I really love his acrobatic fight style. Also let's be real if anyone is up to taking the Cowl from Batman it's Nightwing.
As good as it is to get these characters for challenge maps, you can't just run around with them. I miss the Catwoman option from City a lot. They feel boxed up in my opinion.
I mean there is a pretty easy glitch on one of the dlc maps, revive and shine. You can free roam on two of the three islands. Im pretty sure you can only do it with grapple characters though and there are no enemies

I really like the list in this video. I was even surprised. But my list is just a little difrent for me personally I would say number 1 for me is Redhood 2nd Harley Quinn 3rd Nightwing 4 Batgirl 5 CatWoman 6 Robin and finaly Azrel
Hey caboose how are you man? I was thinking that maybe they could do more of deathstroke, the boss battle with him in knight wasn't great but in arkham origins it was so good seeing him and batman go toe-to-toe, because they are evenly matched. I still hope for a origins remaster and I still love deathstroke. Hopefully they involve him somehow in gotham knights.
Dude I’m still playing that game ever since 2018 I’ve beat it three times so far the main story in general Riddler side mission is kind of just time consuming so I’ve been in the game and left that side mission and a few other side missions alone along with the nightfall protocol now I’m going through this game a new game plus wearing the dark knight suit Christian Bale suit with literally just Riddler‘s side mission left to do and then I can activate the nightfall protocol after locking up or completing the most wanted the shit is fire bro I just finished your video on the Arkham City suits and I think for the most part I do agree I respect how you put the Animated series Batsuit is number one I feel like that soup just shows how much that cartoon and also the character Batman stands the test of time
Sounds weird to say but I'm glad you put Robin lower down. He just feels so off in knight. In city I enjoy playing as him but in knight his animations feel so inconsistent and so many of his moves in combat are slow, unlike in city. And again, one of the biggest missed opportunities is not having these characters in freeroam like you said. At least let us have catwoman, jason, and dick after all the missions are done. You could make a case for the others not being logical (azrael since he either leaves after his mission or gets locked up, Robin once he gets hurt by scarecrow, harley because she's locked up and Batgirl because yeah) but for the others, it's a huge miss.
I wish they were more creative with the characters. And this extends to AO too. I’ve wrote down special moves, animations, and gadgets for Red Hood, Harley, Deathstroke, and Bruce Wayne. The problem with each character since AO is that there always too much of the same. Every character is practically based a pre existing one with less gadgets.

PLEASE READ. There is no one video or place that has everything you need to know when it comes to this game for example i'm pretty sure that i got the mesh stuff sorted but i couldn't find where to put those textures (i've been trying to install "The Batman V52" mod) and all the links under old tutorial videos are outdated so please make a tutorial for people that are new to modding this game.
Combat: Catwoman plays much better than in City. Robin over NW any day. NW is awkward and always feels as if he has an extra punch to throw before you can make your next move. Breaks the flow for me. Batgirl - good but find it ridic that she can break weapons incl. Shields but R and NW can't. Azrael is too cool not to have unique moves. Just lazy design.
Hwy caboose have you heard that the rumors are that when the Batman comes out on DVD/ Blu ray we will get Robert Pattinson batmobile and batsuit added to the game like they have done in the past
my personal list: Catwomen Harley Azrael batgirl robin nightwing batman red hood I personally play alot of predator (like alot) so that's kinda why I ranked Harley and catwomen that low but Harley I would say did give me a nice challenge.
