Batman: Arkham Knight - Free Roam with All Characters on PS4 and Xbox One

This glitch, known as "Corner Cover Zipping", lets you free roam as any character in Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
To perform the Corner Cover Zip glitch, you need to start a Predator AR Challenge. Use the corner cover in a specific spot and select a projectile gadget - Batarang (Batman, Azrael & Batgirl), Shuriken (Robin), Bolas (Catwoman), Escrima Stick (Nightwing), Laughing Gas (Harley Quinn) or Flash Bang Grenade (Red Hood).
Aim and throw the gadget, but right after the animation starts, let go of aim and press Square (on PS4) or X (on Xbox One) to cancel the movement and prevent the object from being thrown. Quickly, before the character stops crouching, start aiming again while moving left or forward with the left analog stick. This way your character will be in the crouching position but separate from the wall. Hold the aim button and the analog stick (forward or left) and throw the gadget. If done right, you will be pushed towards a certain direction in the map, allowing you to get through blue walls and other obstacles.

They probably don't, that's why you can only traverse two islands... Plus they render the world to make the rest of the city visible in the background. It would seem weird if you were playing in an open air area and everything that was supposedly around this area had just vanished

Reeta Singh Still, after a few blocks it wouldn't matter. If you stood on top of the Wayne tower and look out in the distance, then glide down, you will start to see things begin to render in, so distant objects in the city were already low quality until you get close. There is no reason why they couldn't stay that way in the challenge modes

+BlueNight Productions Increased quality of render isn't hurting though... If the framerate isn't being affected by the higher quality textures, then it's best to have a higher visual quality while maintaining performance. Plus if they didn't, then we wouldn't be seeing this workaround to traverse in the open world as non-Batman characters

It's weird how Catwoman still has the Jumping Up Buildings from Arkham City, even though you never use it in both the story and Catwoman's revenge. Maybe she was planned for Free Roam?

This should DEFINITELY BE some sort of add-on or DLC. Allow players to do free roam as all the characters. Maybe even allowing players to take down the towers or road blocks with any character. This video shows the technology is definitely available to allow this! Nice job.

BAV you are the best man. I saw this on other channels but i had no clue what they were telling me to do. Thank you for actually going into full detail and clearly putting the directions on the screen for us to easily understand. here's a challange, trying fighting the Big Thugs as red hood since his dodge and weapons don't work on them while fighting all the normal thugs. if you dont rescue the fire men you can run around as the other charecters and save them

+An Mizumi It can be done as i have done it, but it is not worth it seeing as there are so many surfaces that aren't solid and that you can fall through, which means you'll have to keep doing it until you you remember what surfaces are solid, which will greatly restrict where you can go. The glitch in this video is the best one.

After you cancel the throw hold L2 and up on the left analog and you can take you time after that and just tap R2 and the glitch works. You don't have to rush it, took me so many try's cause I kept trying to do it fast like the video says but I did it a little slower and it works the same

Prior to the release of this game, Rocksteady claimed that they've added "Everything the players wish they could do in the game" to the game. I guess they thought the players had wished to drive the Batmobile and get some fancy gadgets and moves. The players actually wants to free roam with various characters and do some side missions. And also access the other environments which are part of the other games like Arkham City and Arkham Asylum. All these are currently done using mods or glitches.

if it doesn't work use the map revive and shine and go to the top left corner of the map where you should find an apartment building. Climb onto the ledge and start spamming the climb button. If done right you should be outside the map.

pointless with an empty city. why don't they just add official support like they did for the batmobiles? caboosxbl confirmed that rocksteady is aware of the glitch and not fixing it. Their stubborness on this one feature is disgusting. It's literally no work on their behalf, and if they make available after the game is completed, their won't be any issues either.

+Connor Watkinson I don't think arkham knight was halfassed, i think the season pass was though. The open world was ripe for new stories, new vehicles for people like nightwing and red hood, but instead we get like 10 different shades of batmobile and skins which add nothing to story and gameplay. the base game however, is astounding and the games saving grace. my second favorite only to arkham city. asylum is good but its combat is just dated now, still better than origins.

+Connor Watkinson Don't tell me Arkham Knight is a result of effortlessness... Just look at the game world, no game today has so much detail, not even the massive worlds of Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. Plus there's a ton of combat and predator animations, there's Batmobile combat, AI programming for each of them is extremely complex. Then there's dual play which is also pretty tricky to code, I'm sure.

If this isn't working for someone or can't do it than here is easy one 1.Go to RR challanges 2.choose metro 3.Go to left all over the train track 4.drop down at the street lamp 5.Zoom and try to reach the other train track 6.once youre in this track press circle if youre on x box or pc just drop down and there you are If it doesn't work and you just fell down try again it should work second time Now only Robin,Nightwing,Batman,Arkham knight can do it

Actually You Can Acess a Building. First go to the GCPD on the bridge there will be a barrier. Get as close as you can then jump in the water to the right. Your character should grapple on to The Island. Then i dont know exactly where because you can't acsess the map. But look for the diner. IT should be next to kenzie's jewlery or something. Hey if you hold glide and release grapples at distances of approximately 8:57 you will glide with the speed of a huge dive, the angle at which you grapple greatly affects this. It's literally the best way to travel through Gotham as a glider

I got it to work on PS4, but when I successfully got out, I fell into an infinite save loop which froze the game and ended up crashing my system. Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't know what's stranger, that this glitch can happen or the fact that they (rocksteady) used the entire map during the combat challenges (for backgrounds). You would think that would be using up a lot of memory... but then again I assume that is easier than creating new maps.

how in the world does Azrael glide?! you guys see the tears in the cape, right? he isn't using that cape thing, it's more likely that he can fly and is just trying to look like he is gliding.
