NEW exclusive gameplay of Batman: Arkham Shadow with fan questions answered by Camouflaj: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XepIXLSaGKs.html
There’s just one question I need to know. I noticed that in the trailer that there was this guy who actually looks like one of the Tiger guards from Arkham city, so the real question is, where does this story of the game take place? After and before.
@BatmanArkhamVideos your Batman Telltale decision to save Seline Karl (During the Debate) instead of Harvey, which is literally your best friend and you (as Bruce Wayne) funding his campaign to be Mayor. Was the WORST FUCKING DECISION EVER!!!! What the hell were you thinking?! You could've prevented him from becoming 2 face, and Harvey would've respected you and Batman much more, but you threw it away for what? A one night stand with Selina? IDIOTIC! Even though you presented two options on the possible outcomes if you save Harvey or not, counting the fact you went to save Selina, makes it so much Worst! Not only did you present Bruce Wayne as a Selfish Opportunistic guy, you made Bruce Wayne no different from his father, well FUCKING DONE! I expected better from you.
@@sid98geekikr I mean it’s understandable why the game didn’t have much to offer considering it was made in 2016 and vr was still in its infancy at that time
Yep, I noticed that as well. They just can't keep hold of the actors it seems, although I would've thought it was obvious they wouldn't bring back Johnathan Banks for this. But I wish they still got either Michael Gough's (Origins) or Tom Kane (Asylum)'s Gordon back.
@@themadtitan7603 Tom Kane retired from voice acting after suffering from a stroke. Playing Magneto in Wolverine and the X-Men/Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Ultron in EMH where some of his last roles.
@@leithaziz2716 I see. Thanks for informing me and I do seem to vaguely recall hearing about his retirement. Then maybe they could've gotten David Kaye from Arkham City if not him or Michael Gough.
@@BLAZEVENTURA904 Yeah, and I guess the same with Tom Kane and David Kaye. That's why I think Michael Gough (Origins' Gordon) would've been the most fitting voice here. Although Gordon here also looks a little older since Origins despite it being only two years, must be the stress of that city.
I know people are disappointed that it’s not a console game but you gotta admit… playing as the batman in vr is definitely gonna be an amazing experience
Take it for what it’s worth, but i didnt think VR was my thing either. I tried PS VR years ago and absolutely hated it. I just said i was done with it and moved on. Recently i thought i would give the quest 3 a try for the hell of it with the option to return (fully expecting to return it) and it’s been a life changing experience. I guess VR wasnt ready for me years ago but it finally got to the point where it’s enjoyable to me. The tracking is amazing. The headset is light. The interface is great. The games. SO fun. And I’ve been watching a ton of media on my quest 3. Just watched Mad max furiosa on hbo max on my quest and it was like being in a theater. All for the sale price of $430. My wife loved it so much she bought one. Then my adult daughter bought one too.
Man, there's so much great games on the Quest, I don't even know where to start. They just not getting the coverage they deserve. The 7th Guest, Dungeons of Eternity, AC Nexus, Bonelab, Red Matter 2, In Death Unchained, Asgard's Wrath 2, Walkabout Mini Golf, Phantom Covert Ops, Blade & Sorcery etc, etc, ect...
Metaquest have 600+ game Hitman MudRunner Assassins creed Walking dead x2 Starwars x2 Medal of honor Jurrasic World Alien Batman Metro Sniper Elite And much more !
They probably will, even though it's kind of insane we literally can't have any Arkham game without the Joker involved (hypothetically). And I defended Joker in Origins. But maybe they'll surprise me and he'll just be a cameo.
I'll be optimistic and say that Flannegan is still behind the mask. The devs can only stretch Joker so thin before people get genuinely sick of him, after all.
holy smokes i didn't expect they would put lock up, he was an underated villain in the animated series and probably zack snyders favorite DC character...
Some of my favorite details is that we finally get to see The Ventriloquist and Scarface in person in The Arkhamverse, what Jonathan Crane and Harvey Dent look like before they become Scarecrow and Two-Face respectively . Also Lock-Up being a Tyger Guard in this universe is genius idea and a really good link to Arkham City. You can tell the team behind this game cares more about the lore and canon of this universe and respect it more than even Rocksteady did. I know that is is a VR Game but I genuinely believe that Arkham Shadow is a step in the right direction for The Arkhamverse. Rocksteady just failed across the board with SSKTJ and they are desperately trying to redeem themselves by bringing the Real Justice League back, but the damage has already been done. I really hope we get more games set after Origins and before Arkham Asylum. There is a lot of stories and history to be told in between those games.
I just need more Arkham origins. With Conroy sadly gone I think the actor who voices him in origins and now shadow is really fantastic as a younger Bruce / bat. What I really need is an origins game on console to complete the origins trilogy with 2 faces origin. He’s been sidelined hard in all the other games and he needs to shine as the big bad for once and an origin story of his would be the perfect way to do that.
@@mugoftoothpaste1507 They've got all of you only communicating through written word. Its more important then ever that people understand how to read and write and none of you care to learn to form a sentence beyond the second grade level. You do realize you're the first generation ever to be PROUD of being ignorant, right? You realize you also have the internet and could teach yourself to read and write, something your ancestors literally died for throughout history, right? The people that don't care are brainless.
Wow, the people writing this game really love and care about the Arkham lore. I really hope they get to make a true Arkham game available for consoles and pc because the writing/world building looks amazing.
I kinda want a batcave that acts as a menu area where you can see all the collectibles trophies and character bios to see how it's evolving from origins into the one we see in city bit probs unlikely
So far I'm appreciating the focus this game looks to be giving the not-as-popular rogues like Lock-Up, Wesker, and Ratcatcher in addition to the more common suspects like Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Harley. It's a good balance. Now let's see if they can break the Arkhamverse tradition of featuring Joker in every game
Love how lock up is gonna be making a debut in other media other than the comics and the btas actually Lock up (the episode) is on my top five for btas
You have to give them credit for staying true to the Arkham verse with this VR game. Because it looks exactly like you're playing an Arkham game. But just in 1st person view.
An attestant to Tara Strong’s skill is how she manages to sound different in each Arkham game, and it sounds exactly like you would expect for the point in the timeline
@@tahp6988 Khary Payton voices Ratcatcher. Rat King is a different character, you can hear his voice in the first seconds of the video, at the Monarch Theatre.
Damn I might have to consoom vr just to play this it looks hella good, holding out for a surprise appearance by Killer Moth too as like a side mission or something
Something I like is that kind of continuation with Arkham Origins with Batman still rough and before seeing the events that start it all [Arkham Asylum], apart from being Batman but now with virtual reality glasses and the references that are sublime and I liked that they brought Roger Craig Smith is a great successor to Kevin Conroy 💙👌 What I am not completely convinced by is that it is a meta quest 3 game, it is a terrible decision 🤦♂️😒
I’m extremely excited especially considering Arkham Origins is my favorite Arkham Game and I’m really glad they have Roger Craig Smith back as Batman. I wish I had a VR Headset now.
Well meta is the one who approached them for this project, it's not like they woke up and decided to make a vr Arkham game. They were busy with live service game while meta financed and pushed this project.
Heh heh, so many Easter eggs and references, not the least of which are Roger Craig Smith, Tara Strong, Martin Jarvis, Mark Rolston and Troy Baker returning to Batman video game projects.
Looks super impressive for standalone vr. They did an awesome job with ironman, so i have high hopes/faith. Could be one of the few games that gets the vr medium overall some major, positive, mainstream recognition so we will see. Cant wait!
I cant wait to watch your walkthrough of this! It's a shame that i wont be able to play this game, because the Meta quest 3 is so expensive! Oh well! 😕
I think in the storyline, Batman will encounter Terry McGinnis, and there will be an Arkham Beyond in the near future, and this time it will be on console/pc.
Finally Harvey dent and seeing his role before his accident…hopefully they give him an actual story and It’d be really cool if two face’s origin was a dlc like cold cold heart
I learned a couple of Batman's fight moves and special takedowns in real life. Do you think I'll be able to use them in Arkham Shadow, or will I have to generically punch?
It’s nice to see a new Arkhamverse game is here it’s been since like Arkham Knight looks like this game takes place between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum
Arkham origins batman . . Always nails the voice. . Of batman.. Almost makes me wanna take back everything i said , and just play it just cause arkham origins batman is back
Damn I hope to see a sequel to Arkham Origins one day. Hearing RCS as Batman again was awesome! I actually really like his portrayal and loved Arkham Origins just as much as the rest of the series. I'll be buying this for sure...the details your video has highlighted along with the voice actor and rogues gallery selection make this feel more like an Arkham title, but I know at the end of the day, it will just make me want another true Arkham game.
Okay, this looks sick. Especially foe a VR game (given what Batman: Arkahm VR was like). However, I'm sad ill never be able to play it because of not owning a Meta Quest headset and, more importantly, health issues that makes VR headsets potentially lethal to me (severe Epilepsy). I hope that one day, maybe on like 5-8 years time (realistically never), it may be slightly redesigned and re-coded to be a Non VR game.
I'm all for VR, even for the Arkham series. However, having it exclusive to the Meta Quest is especially silly when the market for VR as a whole is niche.
Looks good, too bad that I only have the original oculus and quest 2. Can’t wait for the next upcoming title on quest 4 so that I can I have like 20 different headsets!
