It's such a pity Crime Scene Investigations weren't incorporated into Arkham Knight, beyond that one car crash. Likewise for the martial arts experts, they should definitely have been a part of AK's combat system.
+Liam Pritchard If you've noticed, all enemy types have a specific look in all arkham games. Players need to be able to quickly identify enemies to use effective moves on them. Their outfits help distinguish what kind of enemy you're fighting. Imagine if Shiva/ Ras Al Ghul had male ninjas that dressed like every other thug in the game. It would get annoying getting sliced by one of them because you couldn't tell them apart. To answer your other question, I think you underestimate Bruce's understanding of mechanical engineering. Lets not forget Bruce has access to one of the most advanced tech companies in the world. He likely has access to whatever parts and blueprints, and research he needs to create certain devices or armor material. Also, don't forget the remote claw isn't his. He simply stole it from Slade.
HOLD UP MR READ COMICS! Detective vision is connected to the bat computer. Bruce is basically ad of Wayne Tech. He has access to the technology. He is also very charismatic and intelligent. He can get his hands on stuff with money. So, he can have detective vision as well as his tech. Also, some of his tech was taken from his enemies.
I love the crime scene investigations in this game, I feel like we never get to see why Batman is the world's greatest detective which is why I'm glad that the Arkham games highlight his deductive skills
Yeah, history repeat itself. A marriage couple die by gun in the same alleyway where Bruce Wayne parent died. Justice must be paid by vengeance. If I say it right.
They should have included The Wayne's murder as a case file. Then Joe Chill could be introduced and it would be the ultimate test of Batmans self control not to kill.
And if an expansion was to made to the came to introduce Nightwing, there could be Dick Grayson trying to find information about Tony Zucco. And since this isn't 100% canon to the comics, why don't they both work together. Joe Chill and Tony Zucco - The cause of Batman and Robin.
Oh, Ian... It was bad enough that he killed two people that Batman knew well, but he also _just_ had to kill them in same place where Batman's parents were murdered... That basically sealed his fate.
This is one of the things that made this game great, the actual crime scene investigations. Although it was kind of a letdown that the last one did not end in Batman finding his Parent's killer.
Look in 25:37,before the great combo he counter the martial artist atack and hits the air, loosing the flawless freeflow bonus at the end of the encounter.I know he continues beeing the best arkham gamer ever. But he´s human too.At least I think.
Love the Crime Scene aspect of Origin's Detective Vision. Clever how it "reenacts" the murders. Kinda wished the game had more crime scenes to investigate. Just saying.
@@mcfch8891 That was honestly so weird. I fought him and knocked him down to the ground, then he suddenly teleported there. It's like the game was expecting you to beat him near the railing, not anywhere else. Kinda gave me a bit of a jump, not gonna lie. 😂
6:47. SLAMMED! 😂 Okay, real talk... the crime scenes rewind and fast forward was THE BEST addition to this game and future! I will always love this game!
Imagine if the last case was the waynes case instead of the others. Confronting joe chill and batman beats him to almost killing him, until a cutscene appears and he stops.
YTW It's similar to this one. Same location, close people. Batman also was so angry that the suit detected it that Alfred warned him. Also, a nice little conversation between him and Gordon is a cool part, what's interesting is that Barb made it possible.
You see this: right here, THIS is why Arkham's batman is my favourite of all modern Batmans. DCEU's Batman is an Iron-man-like version of Batman. Nolan's is just a ninja with a few toys. Moderns animated movie and tv show versions of Batman have him as just an acrobat with toys. Arkham's Batman however, has Batman as a ninja, and an acrobat, and gadgety, and "The World's greatest detective." Arkham gets Batman, albeit modernized, precisely as he was originally meant to be seen as: Sherlock Holmes in a costume with Gadgets. a "superhero vigilante" and a "Scientific detective."
Just to add another possibility, I think the crime being committed in Crime Alley was done deliberately to spite Bruce. It is implied by the fact that the killer, the victim and Bruce all knew each other before that incident.
Why does Batman have to submit the evidence to Alfred for analysis sometimes, but is able to do it himself other times? How would evidence submitted by an unknown vigilante like Batman be admissible?
ExcaliburForge Batman is always uploading his evidence to the bar computer Cus that’s how his vision mode works, Batman calling the police up might let the police track him or something? The bat cave is well insulated so getting a call traced their is probably much less likely. Not just that but Alfred can probably send the evidence collected much more succinct and properly than Bruce could include the field. Batman is constantly on the move so he couldn’t just type up emails 😂😂😂. The evidence being admissible however... that’s a tuffy! Given that most of the police at this point in the Arkham story is still corrupt they probably plant evidence a lot and don’t care about due process, but since Gordon is probably getting all this stuff first hand he chooses to trust Batman more than his unit.
Tyler Jordan If this game was made by DC and Rocksteady it would be remastered like Arkham Asylum and Arkham City but no Arkham origins was only made by DC it’s not gotta be remastered unfortunately
@@coldweekeneds4324 oh so that's why....i thought its just because Origins still look great to this day and(considering hate it gets) didnt received such honors.
I'm sorry...I'll get hate from this...but I feel the other Arkham Games are a lot less bare with character, not knocking the VOICE acting, I'm talking about character. Arkham Origins was the only character focused game in the Arkham series. Come at me, fanboys.
The villain of the Jezabel plaza fall side mission is named Robert Hanes. That name sounds very similar to Robert Kane, the full name of Bob Kane Batman's co-creator. The game describes him as a well known conartist, which bob stole ownership of Batman from Bill Finger, and was known for hiring ghost artist to draw batman comics while he took credit, it wasn't just Bill Finger he did this to. He also did it to Sheldon Moldoff and Frank Springer. I imagine his name is a jab at Bob Kane.
Does anybody know how to change the control button configuration on the PS3 version? I want to change the L and R trigger buttons back to the Arkham City configuration. They are reversed from back to front in Arkham Origins and its confusing as hell.
31:15 Funny Batman mentions murder means life seeing as Gotham clearly has the death penalty in the Arkham universe. The Asylum has a literal electric chair.
15:20 = "I never make mistakes." - "You're sure about that?" 20:27 = "Gimme a minute! I need to think about this..." - "Time's up!" 30:16 = "I know I'm right" - "No you're not"
People can hate me for this i don't care but this is why Origins might be my favorite game (this or city). This is a mechanic that was perfectly done in this game only. Asylum used it just for tracking ppl down. City had it for identity theft. And knight just had it for the car crash. This was perfect, so spooky yet so cool.
They remastered Arkham Asylum and Arkham City because those games were made by Rocksteady But Arkham Origins was not made by Rocksteady I doubt that Batman Arkham Origins will be remastered for PS4 and Xbox one because this game is almost 7 years old now
And without the OCD...or the fear of everything...or the meek appearance...or the need for an aid everywhere he goes...or the regular therapy visits...or the lacking need to live a double-life...or the lacking of even semi-decent fighting skills...or the lack of a batcave...*the list goes on.*
Thank god I'm not the only one who feels this way. Combat is definitely more frustrating this time around. I personally blame the increased amount of armoured thugs and shield-users. Throwing a batarang and having it automatically hit someone wearing armour really infuriates me.
So starting from Lacey towers joker spooked Roman’s girlfriend so he found her and hit her head tied her up and black mask sent his man to investigate joker shot him but then roman came from the balcony and attacked him roman lost so joker forced him to shoot Tiffany and threw Molotov cocktail and drag sionis away
I don't understand how Batman can scan dead bodies while they all have a plastic cover over them. It feels like they choosed to mask the bodies because it could've been a shock for the younger viewers. Yet, I wish there was an option to disable those things, or an animation when you analyse them and you seen Batman getting close, lifting the plastic cover while the camera doesn't allow you to see what's beneath.
first, this is batman, a guy with a vision mode that can scan past rock and metal walls when inside a room, so i think plastic shouldn't be much of a hindrance. second, it's police protocol to cover the body. on top of that, it's basic police 101 to any detective to not touch anything under the potential of "contaminating" the crime scene.
gent777 Well, I guess with X-Ray tech, you *can* see through rock and metal like he does (at least in most cases). He can see skeletons. Not the faces. For his Detective Mode to see faces, he needs to see them with no obstacle. As for the "police 101" protocols... dude, this is Batman. He operates outside of the law. I can think of dozens of moments where he takes evidences from the police in the comics/animated series to do his work. Anyway, if he only *lift* the plastic cover to scan the face of the victim, that's not a problem.
no, but there's few protocols batman follows because it's necessary. batman needs to uncover all the evidence first before uncovering the victim because there may be evidence surrounding the victim that batman could step on. it's not just police protocols, but detective protocols in general.
gent777 Obviously. Still, the original point was that Batman's detective vision shouldn't be able to *recognize faces* while they're under a plastic cover. That's something the developpers at WBGM simply didn't thought enough.
i'm pretty sure that batman has access to database people who are residents and criminals of gotham. that's why he's able to get names of everyone in this game, asylum, and city.
city had the takedown problem too, it doesn't activate after certain attacks. i've had the counter problem too but rarely, and the enemies are faster than in the other games. city had the leaping too you just need to pay attention and it doesn't happen that often, you just need to react. getting punched by someone else is pretty annoying i agree but that's just because they are faster and would you like to just run around the battlefield just punching everything, never getting hit.
Gordon never started talking to me...how do I start bringing in the prisoners? Should I watch that video and find some location. Will the side mission then start. Or did I encounter a game breaking glitch?
