Batman Contigency Plans: Scarlet King (SCP-001) 

We have more people that need contigency plans in the manhwa dimension.

Oh yeah there are lots of scps that would warrant the use of the anti-life equation and the Scarlet King is just one of many to my surprise (and horror), the most horrifying part is that the Scarlet King isn't even the most deadly or dangerous SCP. If I were to make a list of the top 10 most deadly SCP is he would only be number 4 on the list. *With 1 being on the weaker side and 10 being on the stronger side)

Anti Life Equation probably would be useless here. Scarlet King would be as big of a threat as The Great Darkness/The Great Evil Beast.

The best and really only way to "fight" the Scarlet King is to not fight him at all. Batman should erase his own memory of the Scatlet King's existence, as well as that of anybody else in his world who might know about it, and leave it alone. The King gets more powerful the more that's known about him and the more people who know it. Understanding him makes him stronger. The best option is to make sure nobody knows about him at all and hope he never finds a way into the regular universe, because if he ever does, there's nothing anybody could do to stop him. Or just work with the Foundation.

except 110-Montauk is canonically a lie and scp-999 is the child of the 9th maiden. That could just be extremely elaborate misdirection by the foundation, but I digress.

🤔what if we were to lie about the Scarlet King? Knowledge of him makes him stronger and makes his arrival closer, but what if said knowledge was false?

@@w1ndgeneral226 I think in that case it is all about quantity. As they say every lie also bears some truth. So who says that even the tinyest sprinkles of facts couldn't help? Along with just knpwing the name itself... maybe it is even enough to be aware of the concept. It may work to obfuscate it, but one also has to think about him to write lies about him... and as we learned studying the Scarlett King will inevitably drive most mortals into insanity, eventually spilling the beans eitherway.

This just makes me think why didn’t the foundation just use a whole lot of amnestic to erase the memory of the scarlet king of the entire planet they could’ve formed it into a gas and puffed it into clouds making it so everyone is exposed to it at some point despite the name of SCP - 2000 being the deusex Machina amnestics are a deusex Machina for the SCP foundation they seemingly have the ability to erase whatever memory, the foundation chooses

While red tide would be a good term for Canon Alucard if he does abridged he should have title "the crimson ******" and mention the fact that alucard is on Twitter in that version of the Hellsing universe giving Batman far more knowledge than the Canon one since he tweets about a lot of stuff he does.

As soon as he said fear powers it I thought the same thing: Bring on the Blue Lanterns, but keep Sinestro Corps rings away from this guy at all costs. In fact, though probably not without it's own issues, I almost wonder if you couldn't trap SCP-001 inside the blue central battery in much the same way Parallax was trapped in the green central battery.

Considering the fact that artistic representations of 096 do not trigger it's anomalous affect and it is in fact a 3D rendering of what it is described to bee instead of an actual image in a dossie of The entity everyone's fine hell Batman knows about the whole artistic representation doesn't trigger its effect if you actually look at the image they show it says "artistic representation" on the actual image itself proving that it is not a photograph or anything that could trigger it

a safer way is a planet wide spell to erase all knowledge of the Scarlet king.

SK scales above DC as a whole, there's not really anything Batman can do except stay away from him.

Pretty sure Scarlett King Transcends Narrative itself. So even Plot Armor is Useless here.

Batman has no amount of plot armour that gonna help him survive something of this caliber, unless SK himself spares him or only uses half dead avatar in battle - otherwise Batman would lost in time spanning anywhere from instant to 10 seconds.

That's not possible though. Batman by himself wont be able to do something as much as find out at least a single identity of a single foundation council member in most of iterations. And Foundation evidently lost multiple times horribly to SK, so we have that.

The formula can be modified I think. Darkseid corrupted the equation by adding his name at the end. So instead of Darkseid, Batman could say his own name, in theory.

Easiest way to "beat" them is deception and treachery. Killing their Council of Thirteen will disrupt any major plans.

You can take advantage of their nature by defeating the Council of Thirteen. This should stop any major planning. Deception and Treachery might be your best tool against them as their backstabbing nature can be exploited.

I second this, as long as it doesn't to *too* far. Examples from me of *too* far and not *too* far *too* far would be if I were to use the one character I have been perfecting specifically to be unbeatable by everything outside of his own universe, including but not limited to: The One Above All, 682's Leviathan form, the God-Emperor of Mankind, an alternate version of himself, and Goku. not *too* far would be my PFP.

@@NewBetaMarioSeries Essentially Two characters One is far too strong in every way to have a reasonable way to mitigate damages with a contingency. The other is much more reasonable and despite the strength he does have, it is possible within human limits to stop him if he does something bad.

@@djmewtwo6981 No, I seen this whole collective consciousness narrative before and frankly I do not like it being implemented into every series possible. I seen it too much and undermines the older narrative accounts. Low Elder gods are eldritch cosmic beings that shouldn't be bound to a quote on quote "human collective unconscience" which gets overplayed after a while. The older Khahrahk was more engaging and could be bulit off with character and defining his motivation more clearly with good enough commitment if handled appropriately. The whole collective consciousness notion just cheapens the low elder gods.

SK existed before humans, he cant be formed by collective unconscious, at least because SK showed two times how he can take complete control over it. SK also figures in alien civilizations and other species have their own collective unconscious.

Like why all people yawn if they see one person doing so. Why kids have subconscious understanding of basic principles and instincts despite having literally zero experience?
