You may be shocked to hear- Due to, ahem, rather questionable actions of the author responsible for the character of Dr Bright, and the fact it was a self insert into the SCP universe, the SCP community is currently in the process of phasing out the character of Jack Bright from SCP lore, and replacing him with “Elias Shaw” For all intents and purposes- same character, different name
@frankydman - an author being a piece of sh*t shouldn't make their work problematic, unless the work itself *is* problematic. That should be doubly true of a collective fiction like SCP that takes pride in having no set canon. I don't know what said author did, but a group taking the decision to phase out an established entry based on how they feel about an author is not a good look.
@@ajmeyers5661 I only know what I read about the situation- trust me, it was really, *really* bad. As in, so bad the community realized they couldn't separate the author from the work, because Dr Bright was basically a "self insert" so they had to make this decision.
Batman when Dr bright shows up riding SCP-682 and holding a chainsaw cannon When you think about it, Dr bright really is the true idol and essence of the Florida man
Contingency Plan Code: The Boys. Subject: Phineas and Ferb. (From the TV Show P&F) OR Contingency Plan Code:The Pharmacist. Subject: Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry because Jack's more of danger to himself than anyone... Like the time he 'accidentally' fed himself to SCP 682. He woke up in a new clone body the next day with a very angry note on his desk from 05-01, it was HILARIOUS!!!
I could totally see batman being associated with the SCP foundation or even being an O5. His usual approach to dealing with criminals really fits with their general approach to dealing with anomalies and i think he would usually approve of their methods
Technically speaking his plan for them wouldn't work he would have to be able to get them to give up freely and this is unlikely to happen so they would also have to think about how they defeat someone who has resisted attacks that are immeasurably powerful.
@@C.A.M584 I know, to "beat" frisk/chara, Batman would have to do what he did with Steve and try to make friends with them, which is easy, the problem is finding a way for frisk/chara not to wake up one day and think "what Great day to commit genocide and/or erase/reset the world"
@@NoHandle44not really,frisk/chara/player ability to load is NOT limited to deaths, the save is limited by the stars but there are auto saves in the game, frisk could Just reload whitout dying
I like how the go to for overpowered character Dr Bright could take over is Mogo, refreshing and unexpected choice. Would think Superman would be the bigger concern, like what happens if it's Superman Civilian : " look in the sky its a bird, it's a plane, its ... Superman ??!!! " Dr.Bright : " Wheeeeeeee !!! "
The contingency for Segata Sanshiro is to pray to what ever god or gods you believe in that he doesn't go rogue. You do realize that Segata Sanshiro fought Chuck Norris (before he lost his meme status) to a universe-rebooting stalemate, right?
I think i accidentally made the perfect thing to counter batmans contingency. This oc is less powerful and more random. As in, so random that his power changes every day. The only constant is that certain days of the year have limited powers, like Christmas gives him the power to make gifts, snow, a package deal of running on air with horns and a glowing nose, or incredibly fast crafting skills or the ability to fit in any chimney with the downside of not being able to resist milk and cookies
A good one would be Dr Paradox from Ben 10. An immortal who casually moves around space and time. And it’s not even a little linear. When Ben met him, he considered Ben a friend and ally already. His first meeting with Ben was long after they had already teamed up several times from Ben’s perspective.
If I was Batman, he would have Superman have his superman robots to teleport Dr. Bright to the phantom zone and confiscating the medallion to Dr. fate or John Constantine so no one would ever use this kind of power again. However, Klarion the witch boy would find dark use for it as well as Raza Al Ghul. Also, Batman’s next contingency plan on SCP-973, SCP-056, SCP 096, SCP181, SCP, 953, SCP5514, and cartoon the cat.
Also, any plan set forth must also have a contingency for his fabled chainsaw-canon. An impressive, if not wholly impractical weapon that should still be accounted for when containing him. It should also be noted that one should recruit the help of Doctor Alto Clef when forming a plan as he is closer to Dr. Bright than anyone else in the foundation. He knows him inside and out, and I would classify their 'friendship' as more of a rivalry than anything and Clef would be more than happy to help in this regard.
wanna see what Batman has to say about Ultron (comic variant)? what about Hellsing series Alucard? as a special challenge; what would be the plan for Guyver's Chronos organization and their Zoanoids.
We've seen how batman handles against undead opponents, he realizes that they are dead so he uses EVERY lethal measure he has And then we have doctor bright, a being whose basically immortal so long as someone wears the pendant the solution, bring a beer and a 12 gauge
Hm, I wonder if batman could socially manipulate killer croc to be a crime fighter for hire. His ability to amphibiously swim through gothams canals, along with knowledge and cunning, plus his brute strength, makes him a powerful opponent. But what say we manipulate his wanton want for money so he can be converted to helping rather than harming? Bribery and social manipulation, plus praise to bolster crocs ego, should all be taken into account: He hates being seen as weak, so him being beaten in combat multiple times nonstop would whittle down his rage and resolve. From there, posing his first heroic effort rigged to be successful and an intense widescale of lovebombing along with a valuable trinket awarded would get on his good graces. Having him be hired to take down crime, along with his unlimited access of gotham through waterways, sewers, to straight up agility, would allow him to pinpoint any robberies, heists, or other illegal activity and swiftly do cleanup: for this I wager he'll want at least %50 of the criminals spoils in addition to his pay. Putting him in an house fit for him, with an crime tracker full of requests that show promised upon pay from crime tracers and police radio on bounties, would be the best way to turn killer croc, into vigilante croc. A second contigency plan would have to be made, should he once again stoop to criminal behaviors, since he has on multiple occassions threatened to flood gotham. An good way to stop his antics would be drones hovering above sea level, ready to drop electric mines once everyone is rescued, keeping him stunned the moment he wets his webbed feet in said water should the intake be switched to output of the water systems.
I mean if he can create contingency plans for Rick Sanchez and the Doctor, then he should be also able to create contingency plans for Dr. Bright. Anyways have you done contingency plans on Batman's evil version the Batman Who Laughs, John Constantine and Dr. Doom?
Containment procedures: Throw a photo of 'cheese pizza' in a cell, and lock the door when he dashes in after it. Seriously, people need to stop parading this character around. The guy who created him is sick.
