It’s a contingency in case they kill him before he’s able to activate his contingency. This way if all backup plans fail, any of us could take up the mantle in his place.

A couple of things to point out: Sayains require air to breathe. They cannot survive in a vacuum. Also, disease is potent as Goku picked up a heart virus while on namek. It put Goku in excruciating pain, to the point of being bed ridden and unable to fight. My advice: bioengineer a non-lethal, potent variant of the streptococcus Virus (strep throat) and bombard Goku with gas containing the virus. Goku will be much easier to incapacitate as he won’t be able to breathe effectively, and have the worst bronchitis anyone has ever had. Then, banish him to the Phantom Zone, checking in every once in a while. But above all, do not, under any circumstances get him angry. Your suit that was used against Superman should work.
@@molybdaen11 I believe anything that can take down a human at a much higher level of restraint can off a Saiyan, but it's getting them in a situation and keeping them in it where things get difficult
Preparing for Ben 10 would be hell because not only would you need to prepare for all 1million+ aliens but also ben himself and all of the omnitrix failsafes.
it's basicly impossible. by the end of omniverse he had full control of alien x and even a failsafe that would transform him in case his arm was about to be cut off.

The only thing I didn't like was that they used the retcon origin to why Goku went to earth. The original reason were he was sent to earth was to conquer it but forgot and because of his upbringing became the loving and carefree guy he is just hits different.
I would argue that despite his incredible power, Goku would be one of the easiest people for Batman to...not 'beat', but at least manipulate or misdirect. Goku's a genius as a fighter, but easily distracted and bored often. He's simply not used to dealing with a character with a more cerebral mindset. Someone like Batman, or even a Lex Luthor, would probably manipulate Goku into fighting someone else pretty easily. Not the same as beating him in a fight, but it would let Bats survive at least.
There was an old 'East vs. West' article in some magazine or other, can't remember what, but it was Goku vs. Superman and that was the exact premise. Goku got tricked into thinking Superman was a threat to Earth, and that's why they fought. Once he realized they were both good guys, he apologized and Instant Transmission'd away, leaving Supes very perplexed.
Super Goku would for sure try to fight Batman just because someone said he was strong. Z Goku wouldn't even care unless they said he was evil and killing innocent people. He wouldn't have much issue dealing with someone smart since Z Goku isn't stupid.
@@necroblaze16He’s still too naïve and trusting though, like when he was tricked into doing ring puzzles before the Cell Games. The crime boss “got away” until Goku tracked ‘em by ki. If it were someone who knew how to hide, they really could have escaped.
@El_Rey_247 That event actually proves my point, nobody told Goku that they were up to no good. They weren't actually doing anything at the time other than trying to collect the dragon balls and monolog about the return of the Red Ribbon Army. Goku politely asked them for the dragon ball because they were non issues.
The crazy thing is Goku has so many similarities to Batman and Superman. Lost parents, adopted, one of the last of his people, best martial artists in the world. It’s actually be a dope crossover event.
Maybe yes, maybe no; it depends on what has made the individuals in the contingency turn. A lot of heros could be solved with 'throw superman at it' probably at least 80% of the DCU could be given a time out by supes for being naughty. But imagine for a second the entity is Starro, if you throw supes at it, now Starro just has supes as another pawn. Imagine it's someone with magic who warped the mind of the hero in question, supes can't deal with the puppet master so well in that case. Supes might already be under control of whatever is turning heros as well, meaning he's not gonna be helping. I can imagine other situations too, such as if fighting Amazo, anyone you send at him will have their powers and weaknesses copied; so sending superman just makes him superman, and whether he ends up with the kryptonite weakness is plot dependant, since Amazo isn't actually biological. Would you risk feeding Amazo superman in hopes that he gets a weakness to green space rocks out of the transaction?
Not according to most vs battles. Goku is as physically strong as Superman, a better martial artist, and can use directed energy blasts, which we know Superman is vulnerable to. Now, Wonder Woman, on the other hand, she could kick Goku's ass.
@@metal87power You misunderstand how stupidly broken superman is. You remember that scene from DBS where Vegeta fourth wall broke to complain fighting Arale was unfair because she was a gag-character who is as strong as the plot demands? Superman is that, except not a gag character; this is a case where a better written character with more developed limits loses out. Supes is a -terribly- written character who has been given near omnipotence, justified only by 'green rocks make him weak.' Some instances of superman aren't that bad; but if you're not specifying a particular continuity, Superman has a lot of baggage from an age where comic writers just constantly needed to one-up the last crazy feat of strength or power. As much as I prefer dragon ball as my male power-fantasy of choice, I can realize that going by raw feats of strength superman is fundamentally broken. And I'm honestly fine with it, 'beating superman' is just a yardstick for seeing if a character is equally broken or not. TL;DR: Western comics have been making ungodly broken overpowered universe-buster characters for decades longer than shonen anime has even existed, and they're damn good at making broken god-like characters, which isn't a good thing.
I like how batman sounds legitimately sad telling the story of the destruction of the saiyan homeworld, having experienced the loss of those important to him too (and being friends with an alien who's planet also blew up)
Pretty recent and not very well known, but Takato from "My instant death is so overpowered the other world don't stand a chance against me". The guy is a walking death note that can kill anyone he met, see, know or anyone feeling murdrous intent toward him, but otherwise his body is as strong as a normal human. I'm sure Batman if he learn what are his abilities beforehand can prepare plenty of contengencies to avoid this cheat superpower.
Takato is a huge problem. The whole part of killing people with the intent to harm him? That is a passive ability. Takato can block that ability from triggering, but that ability prevented the universe from being destroyed just because he was in the universe. The being that was going to destroy that universe was doing it from outside of time/space/the universe. The biggest problem for Batman is that contingency plans don't get used until after the target becomes a threat. Takato can kill anything when he decides to. So when Takato becomes a threat, its too late to stop him from killing anything he wishes to. Though if you need a contingency plan, a powerful psychic should be all you need. As long as they can calm or mind control Takato instantly without trying to actually harm him it might work. Just don't tell the psychic anything about Takato, fear from knowledge might trigger an urge to kill Takato which results in the psychic dying before he even tries.

Contingency plans for anime characters is always cool, Batman isn't used to fighting hax based fighters like Gojo, Dio, Aizen, Itachi, etc that rarely have major weaknesses so you really have to think outside the box
A contingency for Goku? That should be easy. A) A prolonged fight with someone his equal will drain him. The matter of collateral damage can be undone by way of the Dragon Balls. Make sure not to threaten his family, that'll just make any seblance of restraint he has go right out of the window B) Goku loves the challenge more than the win, and it doesn't matter what kind of challenge it is: he's a martial arts master with few peers, but bring him a logic puzzle and tell him he gets a month worth of food if he completes it, and you've practically incapacitated him for the foreseeable future: as brilliant as goku is when he comes to fighting he cannot be said to be above-average in other areas of knowledge. C) If all else fails, bring his wife to him, then stand back and let the scolding commence.
Like any DC science based villain could probably take down Goku tbh. With knowledge of his personality. One ‘hey I wanna test this device on you to see how strong you are’ and then you got a free shot with whatever atom displacer or brain melter or unmaking device is available. ‘Hey Goku stand on this platform that will send your atoms to random spots across the universe. It’s a secret new method of training.’
A.) Goku started out as Jiren's lesser in basically every category, and over the course of 40 minutes, went on to outclass him in every category. The idea that his equal would tire him out is naive, especially since they wouldn't be his equal after a few minutes. B.) Goku is smarter than you give him credit for. He may not be book-smart, but he is intelligent. He was able to figure out how to predict Hit's movements in the future... Somehow. He also set up his own death in order to free Hit up so he could focus on the ToP. This would have taken a near genius intellect to set up, especially as Hit's IQ would be in the high hundreds.
@@Aelda69 A) During those 48 minutes of the tournament, Goku was out for the count multiple times. It is absolutely possible to tire him out through a prolonged fight. B) I point you towards the gathering of the dragon balls prior to the Cell Games, where a simple ring puzzle had Goku occupied for a day and a night - he could've easily taken what the dragon ball by force, but decided to face the ring-puzzle instead, which almost lost him the bet that he could solve them before dawn came.
how about a plan for Mr. Roger. a man has access to a magical realm of living puppets and the supposed winner of the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny
To take out Goku. Cook some incredible food. Invite him over and feed him, then tell him that there is a new strongest fighter in the Universe and you have a ship to take him there and it will take probably 1,000+ days to reach it. He can't count that high, and blast him off to space and tell him to train all the time.
If Bruce tech and star labs knew about capsule Corp. they can even invite Bulma and her fathers Dino cabs to become useful with new technology or the next generation of crime fighting or more. And on a sidenote Batman should have a contingency plan for Detroit smash ( Deku a.k.a. Iizuka Midoriya) and find a way to use the power for one for all and all the other UA heroes and villains.
You are working on one of the most famous superhuman characters in fictional history I think you’re allowed to split it into segments considering his long list of achievements and abilities I would think you would do the same thing with people like Superman
Plz do a Contingency on Kirby. While Kirby may seem like the cutest thing to ever grace the world of fiction, he claps multiversal eldritch horrors on the reg
As of the ToP Arc in Super, he doesn't require Senzu Beans to overcome fatigue. The Dragon Balls are indestructible (literally). The only way to "destroy" them is to kill their creator, which is literally impossible for the Super Dragon Balls, as Super Shenron is universal in size. Ki dampening tech could cancel out Goku's ranged abilities, but he still has his physical strength and durability, which are not caused or augmented by his Ki. There is no cage that Batman could build that would be capable of containing him. Also, the Saiyan Heart Virus wouldn't work as Goku already took the vaccine, making him immune to it. The only real contingency would be to keep him distracted with food and training, and hope to God on high, that he doesn't see you as a threat to Earth.
I genuinely think Piccolo or Vegeta would give Batman FAR more trouble than Goku. They're smarter, and less susceptible to trickery or psychological manipulation. Heck, all you need to get past Goku is behave like an outwardly friendly, happy person and he'll be easily fooled. Not so much with Vegeta.

See you in the next contingency part, Mr. Batman. Take your time. As someone who's not familiar with Goku, I'm curious if he's only vulnerable to some kinda psychic or physochological attacks.
Aang's Team Avatar, any single member. Korra can't beat a 100 year old Toph, she ain't beating Katara, Sokka would rizz her up and dump her, Zuko would leave her with burn marks and Aang is better than Korra in every single way. Or you just try to teach her airbending or just use mercury.
Batman’s contingency for -Rambo -John Wick - Adam Clay. The Beekeeper -Robocop (or rogue OCP creations or even OCP itself) -Umbrella corporation (creatures, mercenaries, and security forces) More ideas later when I can think of them.
I can already hear superman say Bruce don't have your goku contingency plans involve me. I've already fought and beat him 3 times and I'm not risking the multi-verse again just to stop him.
2:05 You should use a convolution/transformation style AI instead of a text-to-speech AI to avoid these kinds of weird unnatural bits. Plus it will speed things up for you in terms of "tuning" the performance / pronunciation. Basically there are AIs that transform the voice of any audio you feed into them. There are most definitely Batman ones already, and you can train your own. So you'd just quickly record yourself in a free audio workstation like Reaper saying the script in a vaguely Batman-like voice (even a bad imitation is good for this), keep only the parts you like, and feed the exported .WAV file to an AI that transforms the voice. Even if you don't have a good mic it doesn't matter. There are free online AI audio fixing tools like Adobe Podcast Tool (just need a free account) which clean up the audio and even can make it sound like you have a better mic. If the tool has sliders like the Adobe Podcast tool site, I recommend using 50% or lower when possible, cuz 100% can sound lifeless and weird. Good luck!
Not even necessary. ElevenLabs has pretty good voice cloning; you just need the right samples to feed it. Besides, Batman has a stoic voice like this, so the current voice isn't exactly out-of-character.
lol, N52’s Wonder Woman contingency was literally ‘send Superman at her’. (Granted half his N52 contingencies didn’t work) So it’s definitely not out of the question for that to be at least ONE of Batman’s solutions.
The contingency that was listed for Wonder Woman should work on Goku. Make him believe he is fighting an equal while locking him in a never ending virtual battle.
The N52 anti-Wonder Woman contingency should work too: call Superman Until late N52 Batman had no Wonder Woman strategy if she ever went rogue so his plan was literally call Superman to take her down.
What about the monkeys from Blonns Tower Defense? I’ve often wondered just how formidable their military strength would be if the cartoon art style was peeled away.
Here’s an idea: Contingency for Sekiro How can Batman defeat him without risking Dragonrot spreading throughout the world? Doesn’t help Sekiro can just kill himself on a dime and resurrect as he pleases, spreading the disease.
How about this idea for a contingency: Boost Power - Captain Falcon Unfortunately there's not really that much to go by for main-continuity Captain Falcon, so you'd probably have to focus on the version from F-Zero Falcon Densetsu.
