I always wondered where Logan's regeneration gets all that material from. Is his body literally pulling microbes out of the air, ripping them apart, and using those materials to rebuild itself when reduced to little more than a shiny skeleton? Imagine if his healing factor started to work proactively against surrounding perceived threats rather than being focused solely on his body. He wouldn't even need to unsheathe his claws, just walk along while people cause him damage before trailing lines of connecting viscera consume everyone around him to rebuild himself.
Batman would find a way to help Logan not only just turning the adamant him back in the bone with the help of fire storm, but also fire storm and captain atom can help drain the years of radiation and other poisons from his body as well. However Ra’s Al Ghul otherwise known as the demons head of the league of shadows with might be interested in Logan‘s healing factor to extract the Mutan healing gene from it. Waller and Luther would go over’s strikers record files of the work for next program to try to clone Logan for military purpose. Darkside wouldn’t want to clone him and train his clones to be his weapons. Also, Batman‘s next contingency plan should be about Anne from Amphibia, Luz from the owl house, Star butterfly from star versus the forces of evil
Yep. Magneto can disable Wolverine quite easily, and I remember at some point there was a storyline he almost killed him by literally ripping the adamantium off his bones entirely, and in retaliation, Xavier actually hit Magneto hard and wiped his brain, putting him into a coma.
It's a bit spoilery but Magneto has been shown to be able to mess with or even rip out Wolverine's adamantium in more than one continuity. He uses it pretty often in the movies but not so much in the animated series I've seen, at least not until way later. I like to think it's a very last and I MEAN VERY LAST resort for Magneto in most universes. He highly respects Wolverine and all the other X-Men, even if he doesn't usually admit it. He most likely sees tampering with Logan's adamantium as an extremely low blow considering evil humans put it there through torturous methods. Essentially he'd view it as a dishonorable tactic to use against a fellow mutant and war survivor. That's just my headcanon for why he mostly leaves Logan's metal alone anyways. Movie Magneto, especially in the first trilogy is the exception as he's far less honorable. He lifts and throws Logan pretty much every chance he gets. He also abandons a mutant he's known for years right after their powers are removed by humans. The same thing happens in a separate animated show and it only further fuels his hatred of humans hurting mutants and thinks nothing less of the specific mutant who lost their powers. So yeah, if he's not messing with Logan's adamantium it's just because he has standards. Edit: Wow, I did not mean for this comment to get so long.
If Batman thinks that disabling Logan's mutant power make him defenseless, he should think again. Even powerless, he still can control his claws, has unbreakable bones, decent strength, fighting experience and killing instincts. Adamantium poisoning won't be a problem until the next day or so
Batman’s comment about the name Fatnerd was pretty good 😂. Still, it’s great to see Batman’s kinder side shine through in these contingency plans. No doubt he would never judge people like Logan for their genetic abnormalities.
OK, this would be incredibly brutal and inhumane… but if worse comes to worse, you can lead him to a body of water and drag him in with the Bat-Boat. His metal skeleton will hold him down like an anchor, but his healing factor will stop him from actually drowning. He’ll be existing between life and death until he is pulled out, so this method would not be advised, but it would be an effective strategy
Some additional points and stuff to add to the contingencies for Logan: - Seeing as you have the tools and resources to gain materials from other universes, I would recommend finding a material called Carbonadium. It is a material similar to Adamantium. It is less durable, but cheaper and more malleable. One of it's big selling points is that due to it being radioactive, it can slow accelerated healing factors. Some notable examples include the mutant Omega Red, whose coils are made from it which he can use to drain life energies. And of course, at least in some continuities, Deadpool's Katana's are made from the stuff. In one universe, Deadpool went on a killing spree and offed many of Marvels heroes and villains, including Wolverine who he decapitated with a Carbonadium sword, killing him. Now I know B-man wants to keep it humane, so you could potentially use the Carbonadium to make a device that could just simply slow Logan's healing factor, basically slow it enough to make him a non-threat, but not so much that it would kill him. But if push comes to shove and you have to take him down, then a simple weapon made from or using the stuff should do the trick. - There is also Antarctic Vibrainium. A sort of Anti-Metal in the Marvel Universe. This metal emits vibrations which cause the atomic and molecular bonds in nearby metals of other kinds to weaken, sometimes even liquefying them. And it is proven to work on Adamantium. So another way you could potentially weaken and neutralize Logan without killing him, or put him down if necessary. An example of someone using this is Misty Knight, a Marvel Heroine with an arm made from the stuff. - While Logan's body may be hard to attack, his mind isn't. Specifically his Brain from which his Healing Factor stems from. So any mental stuff or attacks can work on him, such as chemicals, hallucinations, mental shutdowns through psychic attacks. He can even die from drowning if kept in the water long enough. Professor Xavier is a great example of someone who has plenty of abilities that can either temporarily or permanently shut down a person's mind if need be. Safe to say if nothing physical works, there is always the mental battlefield. (Another great video, love this series.)
While Wolverine is one of the, if not the most, famous fighters in X-Men, my headcanon is: If you somehow removed his metal, not only would he owe you a life debt, but he'd happily retire to never fight again; finally free of the curse of the Weapon X Program. Admittedly, he'd forever search for his lost memories, but he'd, never again, seek out a fight.
At the same time, his healing factor is also his biggest weakness. If he experiences something that’s so traumatic(such as losing his father, accidentally killing his childhood friend, or the Weapon X procedure), his healing factor will heal the mental pain; but doing so will also wipe away his memories, leaving him with amnesia.
KO hope you do Super Broly. Sasuke Uchiha. Masane Amaha (Witchblade). Piccolo (Dragon Ball). Akuma (Street Fighter). Beelzebub (Sand Land). Jake Long. Monkey D. Luffy. Senku (Dr. Stone). Michiru Kagemori.
0:18 LOL. They're hated because they have crazy superpowers and always make bad decisions. Especially Professor X, who thought shooting Hulk into space was a good idea. XD
