How come your comment sections end up getting locked? I enjoy seeing people's comments on your shorts, but it feels bad when they end up getting disabled.
@@therandomone9574Cartoons etc. get auto flagged as "for kids", which turns off comments. It can be bypassed by including swears in the on-screen captions. (although it makes the captions incorrect)
It's pretty fascinating to see a hero like Batman and a villain like Bane ending up as decrepit old men who aren't even a shadow of their former self. In fact, the aging heroes and villains of the Golden Age in "Watchmen" became such ordinary and unpretentious citizens in their later years that, when they meet each other in the supermarket, they even exchange addresses instead of just starting a fight
Ummm bruce is still absolutely a shadow of the bat. Even more. He’s physically capable of defending himself and provides immeasurable knowledge and wisdom to terry! Watch the show.
Not just his strength. (Yes. I noticed the reference. Nice one.) Bane was also known for his intelligence, his savage spirit. His will to survive. Now to see a man like that as he is now? It just breaks my heart.
@@thehurricantyrant5258 But Bruce didn’t know Bane’s current state. And being stronger don’t mean anything if you’ve never fought the guy. Especially with how strong and smart Bane is, I’m not familiar with ASB Bane I’m just going off of his usual, it’s just weird to me.
@williamswain2303 most likely that with the new suit batman can stay out of range with difficulty, and bane is as about as threatening as a chained up dog when you're out of range
To think that Bruce would have ended up like Bane if he hadn't stopped taking the Venom pills he started to consume after failing to save a girl. This scene makes his exit from the Batcave after spending an entire month locked up to cure his withdrawal symptoms even more EPIC.
@@anirudhnayak8690 its just a old comic where batman gets adictted to drugs that gives him superman strenght, but makes him also more dumb, so he needs to get over his addiction to catch his seller and put him in prison
@@anirudhnayak8690it was a tough read, Batman was trying to rescue a kidnapped girl from drowning, and even though he made it to her, he couldn't free her from being trapped in time. So in his guilt he sought methods of surpassing his human limitations.
That just sound cool. There is an energy drink called venom. Another drink called death water. Coffe called death coffee claiming to be the world’s strongest coffee. Sold in supermarkets.
@@slanetroyard92well, in the original continuenity he needed venom because of his body blood. His body will quite literally tear apart if he stop taking it.
...what are you talking about? If Bruce cared would have already known Bane was incapacitated. All he cared about was whether Bane was going to attack again.
Often mistakenly saved those who were far beyond redemption. I disagree with the whole no-killing rule. Some people are so purposefully evil, that there is no point at all in attempting to save them, as it just gives them more opportunities to harm innocent people.
I'd like to think so is well, I like to assume old Bruce Wayne probably went to visit Bane at his retirement home, at some point discovering and seeing how bad Bane's Health was and the fact that he was the toughest villain he'd fought and seeing how the villain who broke the bat had been reduced to a withered muscle reduced wheelchair bound shell of himself, and him needing a breathing apparatus to breathe Bruce probably took pity on Bane, the two likely made amends, Seeing Bane in Batman Beyond in that state was shocking and depressingly sad and dark
Idk Bane’s probably the reason he needs that cane lol. He might have bounced back from the broken back but you know that pain’s going to keep him up at night in his old years
Coincidentally, he's gone like Bane was about to in his first episode. Batman destroyed the doser and he was overdosing on Venom, but not in the drug sense... In the balloon sense. He was pumping so much he was going to pop strangled in his tight clothes. It was pretty terrifying. Thankfully, he got unplug and reverted to a normal size
@@beholdenbeholder1937he didn’t need it to survive, there were several instances in which he went through rehab so he isn’t dependent on it anymore, but he kept coming back. His situation is his own fault.
@@youknow2778 but he does have constant access to it, that kind of power is very tempting. Besides there is always the "Just this once/one time" mentality.
I loved Batman Beyond because it was so intriguing to see the fates of all these iconic Batman characters. Seeing them suffer from the long term consequences of their lifestyle is such an interesting concept
It makes you wonder what happened to the rest of them. 1. Joker died of course. 2. Penguin either is in prison or stayed at the iceberg lounge and became a legal business man. 3. Two Face either is in prison or had a similar fate like in Dark Knight Returns. 4. Catwoman has either passed away or similar with Dark Knight Returns. 5. Poison Ivy clearly is dead. 6. Scarecrow has to be in prison. I don't see him ever getting out. 7. Killer Croc has to be dead by now with the growing mutation. 8. Scarface must be cured by now. Any others?
Bane was obviously a villain and did some really messed up things but.. To see him like that, fighting for his life and all he's doing is sitting and breathing? I mean it's horrible.. And sad..
The circle of life my friend. people think they are invincible when they are starting out their lives and are young, making dumb decisions not worried about tomorrow but tomorrow catches up with everyone who takes birth. old age and death is the only guarantee that comes with life.
Bane did some good too sometimes. Saved some lives. I remember one comic where he accidentally scared a little girl and then ended up taking the mask off to comfort her and ended up saving her life.
This might’ve had a huge impact on my personal decision to not use any substances growing up. I remember being terrified of the way Bane looked, and just being so scared of what a “drug” could do to a person. Props to the creators for taking this stance.
The first time I saw this I was just shocked. I grew up watching The Animated Series (and damn near got traumatised by seeing Bane absolutely wreck Killer Croc!). So seeing Bane reduced to… This. Not even a shell of his former self… It just hit me, you know?
@@sarfarazgaming121 It would be used as an excuse to justify constant use as necessary. Never underestimate how underhanded people can be if it means getting what they want at all costs.
He *did* look at Bane and make exactly that decision. That's why he decided to sell venom as a street drug instead of shoot it up himself and work as a mercenary like Bane did. The only reason he resorted to using venom on himself is because he was cornered by Batman.
And how the desire for power can blind you. That man is the most intimately aware of how hard Bane’s body is trying to self-destruct, and he still started doping anyway.
This teaches you that you should never take steroids and drugs it starts off making you feel good but throughout you're life it will start destroying you
Not So Fun Fact: Most Rehabs, have Adults who are in their 60's, close by 80's. And this is due, by the drug addict that keeps them hungry of more drugs. Some are barely still alive, and some have Families that are worried for them. And the horror of this, is that some look exactly like how Bane is portrayed, in Batman Beyond.
Batman credits bane sm because nobody ever realizes but along with his otherworldly strength endurance and all that bane is a intellectual highly skilled and just overall a very smart person which makes his strength even scarier in my opinion yet alot or shows games movies depict him as some huge brute tht js runs into things tryna stampede batman
I kinda feel bad for Bane. Imagine you've finally left your life of crime behind but now you're ridden to a machine due to taking steroids most of the time. You're happily retired when suddenly your arch rival bursts through the doors demanding shit
Terry: "What is it?" Bruce: "Venom." Terry: "I thought he only existed in the marvel universe." Bruce: "Not that kind of venom, now stop breaking the 4th wall and listen to me."
"What about Bane's friend?" Odd Batman's voice seems caring because he knows that dude is the only one that has been looking over bane for years and there isn't a single other person left in bane's life
The lessons behind those cartoons were really good, an intelligent men like bane, reduced to this due addiction, in this episode we see it , it can never end well .
This part made me sad 2 see my favorite Batman villain get old like that , I remember watching this episode after school in the year 2000 ,, I was 10 years old !!!
