He died, he was just brought back when his brain was hooked up to a machine. Since his cells are basically dead already, hooking it up to anything cold meant he'd be sentient again. Basically he's immortal if they can find his brain and repeat the process. Otherwise he's done for. @@congnghequansuvn474
The saddest line in the entire franchise is when Terry McGinnis goes to save Freeze in the future. Terry says, "Come on," and Freeze says, "Believe me; you're the only one that cares."
@@Chavanun555still a villain, good intentions still a bad man, and freeze was bad. Good intentions such as saving his wife at the cost of lives and property damage. Hitler was a villain but wanted the best for his people. Think of that selfishness
@@lexlogan9264it's not even just the voice (we all miss that). It's his heroic spirit. Fuck that vengeance crap, the emo batman that's everywhere the past 20 years. Or how modern writers are making batman a psychopath. Batman is exactly like Superman in my eyes. His strength comes from his darkness, when superman's strength comes from the light.
@@archinspide2652 yeah the one thats used until this day but the name of mr.freeze got used way before that versión is like Amazo on justice league unlimited the original versión was way more simple but they choose to Made a new story for it on the animation
Mr. Freeze was not a menace like Joker or Two-Face. He was Husband who wanted to Cure his Wife. Tragedy struck and Dr. Victor Fries was the victim of an Incident and became Mr. Freeze
Batman is or at least was just like other heroes in this regard like he wouldn't try to talk down the Joker or someone like that but someone like Freeze or Twoface he would try to help since they're not outright villains just victims of life's tragedies
@@LittleBirbBoi Exactly this is why I love older forms of Batman cause nowadays all he is punisher on cops call list. Older ones gave him humanity and a heart that cared.
I remember he survived and found out Wayne Enterprises discovered the way to cure Nora successfully by seeing a newscast through a cabin window in the arctic somewhere
Mr freeze was never truly a bad person. He was just a man willing to do anything to save the person he loved the most and who loved him as much. His tale is always of tragedy.
Batman and Freeze are rarely enemies. majority of the time Batman actually wants to help him because he knows Freeze is a good man with good motives. Batman understands his suffering and why he does what he does. Freeze is easily one of the best batman characters.
I was born in 1980 and I had transformers, Robotech, Batman tas, Batman beyond and X-men and Spider-Man animated on fox. Truly I was born into the golden age of cartoons.
well, except the one from "The Batman"(the series after this and new adventures) that version they stripped away the backstory and made him a 2bit criminal that got ice powers
For the short time Freeze was healed in Batman: Beyond, he legitimately tried to be a good man, seeking to make amends for his past sins. It was only after being betrayed that he fell back into old habits, dying a broken, betrayed man
I'd put scarface's ventriloquist he in scenarios is a man with split personality disorder who became that after what happened to him. In one episode he actually leads a normal life thanks to the help of Bruce and we can see he's happy. Or killer croc who was bullied to his point may relatable villains and heros in this series
I like the way they wrote him here. I hate how in some iterations of Mr freeze his motive eventually leads him to become a complete villain and be just like any other Batman villain. I love it more when it’s obvious that Mr freeze is just a man desperately trying to save his wife but just uses extreme measures to do so, however he demonstrates that he is still human.
I loved this version of Batman and this version of Mr. Freeze, when Batman genuinely cares about his rogues gallery and understood they were all victims of circumstance, and Freeze just wanting to save his wife.
i’ve always loved how batman doesn’t see victor as this terrible person, he actually tends to understand with him because he can’t exactly admit he wouldn’t do the same
Hes one of the 3 people who weren't actually Villiains. Waylon jones aka killer croc was born with a skin disorder which of course made him different and got him bullied. He used the anger and turned kt to hate. I feel bad for him. The other one is helena bertinelku aka the huntress. She was innocent although her family was not. When het family was brutally murdered she bacame depressed and vengeful. She became the huntress to torture people for her pain.
You've never seen Batman then sorry to say.... Batman the animated series is probably the best version of Batman that ever happened other than the comics and this is how he was he was kind and caring he understood that the people he was facing were people and hoped to make them get better that's why he doesn't kill. You really want to see him be super caring find Batman the animated series go to season 3 episode 4 and meet baby doll....
Freeze was one of those villains that was never really a villain he was just a broken man who wanted to save the love of his life and was beaten down at every turn. Batman was one of the few people who saw that and believed he could do good.
His relation with Freeze was so painful. He knows to suffering of losing your loved ones and he never stopped doing whatever he could to help him be a better person. If he ever had a chance to help him get what he wanted the most without hurting anyone in the process, he would definitely do it. Freeze ain't anyone mentally ill, just someone desperate, out of options and willing to cross the limits to reach his objective. It hurts that Freeze almost never gets a happy ending 😢
this always breaks my heart, batsy fought hard for both of them, you can hear in his cry out for freeze how much it upset him that he couldn't save victor
Proove that Mr. Freeze isn’t evil but broken because he was angry that no one helped him brought his wife Nora back so he decided to bring her back in his own ways.
I see Mr freeze the same way everyone sees shadow, a tragic character who lost or is losing someone near and dear to his heart, and taking his vengeance out on those he felt wronged him
Por eso el universo de Batman es tan querido, todos los personajes tienen matices, carisma, hechos en tonos grises que hacen que incluso si mueren nos mueven el corazon
Mr Freeze and Two Face are my two favourite examples of villains who Batman believed in, and that is one thing I will always move about his character, Batman believes in everyone, he never gave up on any of his rogues and that is what makes him, a true hero. R.I.P Kevin Conroy, you will forever be the night, vengeance, THE BATMAN
Always respected Mr freeze’s dedication too revive his wife he even gave his life for her and even in Batman beyond he gave his life so no one would be hurt by his technology and even protected Batman from being hurt😢
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Very happy i got to grow up with this and the animated series. Also showed my son this for the first time yesterday and he now wants to watch the whole animated series
So much pain in Freeze's voice, he already felt it was the end for him. He just need to get Norah safe. From the start and through all of the coldness and things he had done good, bad, or worse... it was always about saving his love, his wife.
