My favorite batman movie and batman is MICHAEL KEATON IN THE 1989 MOVIE. I saw that 7 seven consecutive times in the theater back in 1989.

I completely agree with you. I also love the 2nd fight because of how intense and fast-paced it is. I love seeing the fighting and the snow in the background, and I LOVE how intense the music gets when Batman starts gaining the upper hand on Bane.

i totally agree with what you said about Twoface, although his eye falling out should be the least of his worries with those burns

As for the spy cam fight and it being cut down, Flick, it's due to the fact IMAX projectors can only run a film that is at most 165 minutes. TDKR took advantage of this time and used every second but, of course, some things didn't fit in the time constraint and they needed to choose what to cut and the fight got that unfortunate fate. Hopefully we get deleted scenes or an extended edition on the Ultimate TDK Trilogy Blu Ray collection next year. Nice review, can't wait for more in the future.

i agree with you about the fight being shorter....I've seen the footage and thinking this fight would be big..but oh well..still cool. and i loved two face's look...i like how Nolan shocked the hell out of us...because i bet fanboys were expecting a tamed down look for two face....but nope..he decided to make a bad ass looking two face

The fight scenes were cut not for length but to get the age rateing they wanted

and agree dude, I loved batman begins. The whole story of him going through hell and experiencing the real world to become the masked crusader. Its amazing and the dialogue was freakin sick! Ras al ghul was sick! If you make yourself more than just a man.....

yes i also feel like the wall street fight between batman and bane was not as exciting. Maybe afterall we knew batman will win this time and there is a huge twist and an awesome truck chase climax afterwards. So... maybe it should be shortened.

I think the Dark Knight is the best movie but Batman Begins is my favorite because it seems like the closest to a Batman comic storyline aka batman year one (a bit) and as a whole I enjoyed the Dark Knight Rises, it isn't as bad as people sometimes say it is.

You're a trip, like someone that I would hang out with lol. Anyway, when I saw Batman Begins, I did like the origin story but thought that it was too much all origin. I was actually kind of bored with it. at the end I was thinking to myself, that's it? I watched it a few more times, on video and it did kind of grow on me a bit, but I was hesitant about Dark Knight at first. Then after seeing some trailers and whatnot, I had to go see Dark Knight on opening night. LOVED it and have it at home.

my friends and i have a tradition. once a year we get together and the dark knight trillogy all in one night and you must drink everytime somthing awesome happens. we call it trime time

they really did take a lot out... -__- even the shots of the tumblrs arriving on the steps that were in the trailer were cut out and the spy footage of catwoman driving down the steps were taken out...

I agree the fight scene does seem clipped. I think the whole scene was a little rushed. Also I hated that Bane shed a tear during the reveal of the twist at the end. Still a good movie but to me the DK is the best.

Epic overview for the Batman set.

Ive watched almost all spy footage before the movie came out and noticed it was longer than the first fight like i noticed batmans cape flipped in the air and showed batman fighting like 3 of banes mercenaries before encountering bane

Hey John, in The Dark Knight skip over to about 01:20:28. It's not a huge issue, but I've always noticed that weird edit error that doesn't make sense, but since it's The Dark Knight it does not matter.

If you really focus on the timeline of events in the dark knight, two-face was out killing people for only one day. It's a small thing, but I just felt I had to put that out there

I feel the ending should have been a much more epic battle, i get chris nolan likes to surprise people in his movies by doing huge twists, but i just dont like how he got stabbed and that catwoman killed bane, and the last we see of him is a blur lol and lots more just my thoughts

hey i found out that they did cut scenes from the final fight, apparently there was supposed to be an explosion in the middle of the fight idk why he cut that out, ther was to many people in the movie bane was under utilized, wish the movie was just about batman and bane even tho i like catwomen and robin they shouldnt of been in the movie cus i realy wanted to see more of bane he didnt even get a chance to be a stickout character like joker

Here is the thing with the realistic aspect. It is grounded in it, it isn't hyper realistic. I mean, you have a film where a dude in a BAT SUIT is fighting crime across the city. That in itself isn't "realistic" yet that is allowed to slide? Nah.

I just watched The Dark Knight Rises before even watching this video and how odd. I noticed the exact same thing as you and thought the scene might have been cut, if it was that's a shame, that fight had potential and leaves you wanting more

Bane owns the pit and uses it to lock up his enemies. People wouldn't release them since Bane is a terrorist and he or his army would kill them-which is why the CIA were looking for him in the beginning of the movie.

Still let down by the 3rd one. only seen it the once in the cinema and im hoping the blu ray will change my mind on the 2nd watch of it. Already tryed once last night and fell asleep after 20mins. Not a great start. Loved the 1st 2 but rememberd to be bored for large parts of this. The pit part was dumb.

I'm glad I saw DKR in IMAX, because it would have been rather dull in a regular cinema

plus the whole pit scene is one of the most beautiful scenes in the movie by the way i think the normal version of the batman soundtrack is mutch muuuuutch bether than this metal version.

I think it's the best of the trilogy and yes I know there are a few huge plot holes.

yeah man thats the only right way to do it man after you got the darkknight rises watch the entire trilogy in one day i did the same i got this movie on friday i have really cool edition with a cool metalic looking picture of bane holding batmans fist and ey little comic of the prolouge in it and john the thing with the pit is just nippicking shit imo im sure if someone was trying to free the inmates he would be in big trouble with bane and his man since it is his prison so i think it makes.
