Bruce: Every riddle has a number in the question and they arrived in this order: 13, 1, 8 and 5. Alfred: 13, 1, 8 and 5. What do they mean? Bruce: Perhaps letters of the alphabet? Alfred: Of course, 13 is M. Bruce: 1 would be A, 8 would be H and 5 would be E. Alfred: M-A-H-E. Bruce: Perhaps 1 and 8 are 18. Alfred: 18 is R. M-R-E. Bruce: How about ‘Mr. E’? Alfred: Mystery. Bruce: And another name for ‘mystery’? Alfred: Enigma. Bruce: ‘Mr. E. Nygma’. Edward Nygma. Stickley’s suicide was obviously a computer-generated forgery. Alfred: You really are quite bright despite what people say. (In the Batcave) Bruce: Were all the Batsuits destroyed, Alfred? Alfred: All except the prototype with the Sonar modifications you invented, but you haven’t tested it yet. Bruce: Tonight’s a good night. (Bruce becomes Sonar Batman) Batman: What do you suggest, Alfred? By sea? Or by air? Dick: Why not both? (Dick comes down as Robin, Batman looks him up and down) Batman: Who’s your tailor? Alfred: I took the liberty, sir. (Batman looks at the ‘R’ on Dick’s left pectoral) Batman: ‘R’? What’s that stand for? Robin: (Looks back at Alfred) Robin. (Turns back to Batman) Riddler and Two-Face can make a pretty lethal combination. Figured you could use a hand. Batman: Two against two are better odds. Robin: I can’t promise I won’t kill Harvey. Batman: ‘A man’s gotta go his own way’. A friend taught me that. Robin: Not just a friend… (Holds out his hand) Batman:…a partner. (Batman shakes Robin’s hand)
