Skills and fight scenes of Bruce Wayne/Batman portrayed by Michael Keaton on Andy Muschietti's The Flash (2023). #theflash #batman #dc #dcu I do not own anything. All rights goes to DC Comics.
That was actually at Keaton's insistence. They redesigned the Batsuit for lighter weight, and more flexibility including head motions. But Keaton said not turning his head was a big part of his physicality as Batman, so they changed it.
I dont know why it fits but it makes it look like no matther what, I will stand up and face you. Its an amazing posture that makes his batman seem more iconic.
Literally the best representation of Batman we have ever seen. Tactical, intelligent, use of gadgets/weapons/vehicles, fighting style and aerial combat. And he actually KICKS!! Who would’ve thought lol. Not just some fists up boxing type of fighter. Just shows how much they can do with Batman that we still haven’t even seen yet and how Keaton’s is still the best BM.
Dude also had the coolest theme song and best batmobile design ever, and I like how the origins of his gadgets, or 'wonderful toys' as Joker puts it is left mysterious(though its obvious he makes them himself)but bale's batman had everything setup by Wayne Enterprises, way too convenient, almost as if he was destined to become Batman in the first place.
@@Mike_ehrmantraut526 Scott would kill it as Bruce and batman, you think they would have done it by now. Guys a martial arts, actor and producer, all they got to do is give him the suit he could choreograph his own fight scenes.
I love that detail You can tell He's outdated with technology or he preferes the old fashioned "analog" way, to keep his mind sharp.... "Old but not obsolete" the only "high bat-tech" he has are his explosives (and that's just a saying, they're just C4 with integrated timer)
Not one person has a bad word to say about Keaton's Batman. They need to do a third Michael Keaton Batman movie while he's still relatively young enough to play the role. They'd be daft not to, it would make a fortune at the box office, especially with that theme tune.
@@JonEric5150 if that Oscars skit was any indication, he still has it in him. And I agree with the others, time for Batman Beyond... assuming they can find a skilled actor of McGinnis and a writer/director that doesn't suck ass.
I'm still hoping for Batman Beyond with him as Bruce Wayne! But the chances of getting him to do it a fourth time is closer to getting struck by lightning.
There was huge contest among the fans of batman on which version and which actor portrays the best, But after watching Micheil Keaton , Man he is the best of the best batman.
And he’s way older too. The film might not be up to standard but I think andy has the brave and the bold covered in terms of choreography and batman like direction
This is my childhood's batman, I love it! Just a great tribute to the man who started the dc comic hero movies in the 90's and made a great job as batman.
They won’t cause this film (The Flash) bombed at the Box Office. Plus, James Gunn wants to build his own DC with his own take on Batman. If we wanted more Keaton, people should have shown up for this film.
Blame the parents who claimed Batman returns (my fav Batman film) was too dark for kids. They literally ruined the chances of us getting a Batman 3. Billy dee as two face and robin Williams as riddler. Thanks to them it never happened
@@fatmanjstyle5306actually Burton could have done the 3rd but he felt the studio was trying to push him out. And Keaton was set to be Batman in Batman forever but when he talked to the director and found out it was supposed to be colorful and bright he opted to not take the role.
Yeah and at the end of the movie he realizes he can't keep doingthis so he brings in Terry to mentor him while he still can and then when Terry;s ready hell be in the background , behind the scene with a new batman. Batman beyond
@@93hothead They were in the process of terraforming Earth during the fight. Much like in BvS, there were chunks of earth that have been converted to Kryptonite. Which makes them weaker on Earth. It's one of the reasons why Zod's plan was doomed to failure because even if they got their planet back, plus Superpowers, they had to deal with 24/7 Kryptonite Poisoning.
Every second of Keaton made this movie worth seeing in theaters. Props to his stuntman and the VFX team that superimposed Keaton’s face onto that stud’s body.
@@granitegobbler95His death is the death of the Batman in general. He was the last great hero whose death in live action still hadn't happened yet. His death is the ultimate death for any Batman: he was brought back, he died in full costume trying to save the planet, and he died in the middle of battle, winning over an opponent three times his size and 20 times his power.
I’d pay great money to see more of Keaton. He’s AMAZING. This is the best thing I’ve seen in years, so much nostalgia. Afleck is good but doesn’t come close to Keaton.
Unfortunately Afleck is not good :S At least not as any type of comic book hero, especially with his huge romcom babyface and small mouth, eyes, he just looks ridiculous in any comics suit, also he does not have that manly charisma which needed for Batman, and does not look crazy enough, and mainly, not inimidating at all
Andy the director did this version of Batman perfect and I’d give him credit for that because he understood how Batman is I forgot to mention him using Danny Elfman’s soundtrack is perfect
This was a true treat to see Keaton again and I think it was some of his best as Batman. Made the rest of the film worth it just to see him. Actually another movie with just him would be fine.
Omg after so many years Mr. Keaton still has the techniques and moves of being batman it's almost as if all the years and age hasn't slowed him down one bit
Turns out it was a simple fix on the costume's neck part where it connected with the cape. They made it possible to have the mask to move along with the cape, but also they removed one key thing that made his Batman great, and it is the cape to droop over the arms and close in the middle to make him look like a silhouette.
Those batarang skill at 1:40, that's what makes this Batman the best! What if Michael Keaton's batman moves too stiff and too rigid, batarangs and gadgets are batman's signature! No one else amongst the movie Batmans does it as good.
O Batman de Keaton é a chave que abre a descrição de que é ser um Batman... Keaton pra mim, é a magia mais sincera do que é o Batman... Pois Keaton é da minha geração... Cresci assistindo a obra do Batman desde do ator Keaton... Ele foi a revolução,do personagem....💪💪💪😠
The thing I hate about the Multiverses is that it basically if you think about it renders all actions or inactions to be pointless. When a character from another universe goes into another one and the host universe protagonist says, "Why should I care about saving your universe?" That's really a great and valid point. Writers write it off like you're a good person you have to stop the bad guy blah blah blah, but really why should they help or care for that matter?
Star Trek has this thing called the "Prime Directive", about non-interference and no contact before a civilization has reached a particular point of development. Let the more primitive "universe" demonstrate the ability to make contact first. The reasoning and rationale is that premature contact can alter the destiny of the more primitive "universe". Contact between universes in a multiverse may result in an unavoidable hybridization of universes, as power imbalances and situational discrepancies ("variations") may inexorably lead to attempts to coerce one or both universes to change their course/fate/destiny. If you start getting into some quantum physics theories about observation and superposition, then the multiverse may be superposition states of the same universe, which may collapse into a single universe at some point. Cue the resolution of the CW Arrowverse where Supergirl and The Flash merged onto the same world. The epilogue of the Crisis events showed the restoration or presence of a larger multiverse outside of the Arrowverse. Most of them were old, but there presents indicates that they are not necessarily obsolete, and may still be vital.
Keaton Batman was the highlight of this film. It's the best fighting style of any Batman. Keaton's Bruce Wayne is great, too. He has the pains of his past, but he has a sense of humor, too. The other Bruce Wayne iterations feel like boys trying to be men. Keaton's Bruce has dealt with some issues and feels more secure in himself.
I see too many people debating which Batman is the best, Keaton, Affleck, Bale, or even Pattinson. To simplify things, all Batmen are great, but it must be taken into consideration that Keaton was the First DARK Batman on screen. Burton worked directly with Batman Co Creator Bob Kane, and it was Keaton's acting that made it possible to have the rest. His personification Of Batman and Bruce Wayne along with the direction that Tim Burton used was what paved the way for the rest. Remember that before Keaton, Adam West was Batman, The campy, dancing, clownish Batman that many old people associated Batman to be. And Burton+Keaton Batman was considered too dark that it is why we have the mishaps of Val Kilmer and George Clooney's versions respectively. So, appreciate that the actual Dark Batmen minus Kilmer and Clooney, after Keaton, are all as great as Keaton's version, albeit for different reasons.
The thing about Keaton's Batman is that he is so much like comic book Batman: the fighting style, the intimidation, the stoicness, the gadgets, the intelligence. His Bruce Wayne is too brooding and I would say that Christian Bale is the best Bruce Wayne with his playboy, flaunt-my-money how I want style.
The thing that cemented Keaton's Batman for me was the scene where he's sitting the dark wayne mansion room just waiting for the Bat signal. For him Bruce Wayne is an act. He doesn't exist anymore.
70 years old retired Batman fights against bloodlusted breed warrior Kryptonians , and takes out two fighters in his batwing if this Batman had prior knowledge of Zod and his army he would have nuke them without a single doubt.
