Hal isnt exactly normal either. He is a test pilot. They are a particular kind of crazy that fear, and chaotic situations dont phase them. Hal is in the same league as Chuck Yeager, Neil Armstrong, and Allen Shepard.
I love how the parademon gets whistled at like a taxi driver and then just casually flies over and takes batman, makes you wonder how often someone just surrenders themselves to being taken
Probably cause they have orders to gather human resources, and second to that is to apprehend resistance and threat, probably. I ain't darkseid But still it's pretty funny that the parademon is whistled like a taxi
It took me a long time to get used to him. He does get better in later movies in the DCAMU. I guess I was not used to Batman sounding so monotone and I originally found it really bland. I was a moody teenager when these movies were coming out so maybe that's why I didn't like it back in the day.
@@Benji568 I kinda felt the same. It was jarring seeing someone other than Kevin Conroy voice him since Kevin Conroy was the batman I grew up watching. However I grew to like how this guy didn't try to copy Kevin at all and did his own thing. Definitely unique and I grew to like it.
@@Meteorkniteyeah, and has the plot armor rivaling shounen anime. I want Batman to be smart and cunning, but not a fucking intergalactical supermind able to completely fool villains like Brainiac.
@@ndricimhalili9793 brainiac isnt all knowing He admits himself. It makes more sense for batman to be supermind than not now ,with one who laughs,Barbatos
@@MeteorkniteYeah, seeing how many broken bones from the excessive beating and simply putting criminals to prison or Arkham, doesn't really show that nicer vibe of Batman. Beating his own kids doesn't help either. 😅
This Batman's voice actor is underrated. Nobody mentions him as if he didn't do a good job voicing Batman. besides Kevin Conroy, i say he is the next best Batman VA
"I saw it on your flight suit... And your facebook profile, social security card, insurance information, birth certificate, resume, and your military record. Black ink and all". Batman knows everything about them all already.
This is the Batman they need in future justice league films. The tactical mastermind of the league and the one who’s able to manage all the personalities while also making sure Superman does 98% of the work lol. I’m not saying the others don’t help but they literally cannot defeat darkseid without Superman, let alone anyone in supe’s rouges gallery.
The really funny thing being that with Wonder Woman, Shazam, Flash, Cyborg, and Green Lantern, they already have the power to do anything Superman could do, Shazam is technically speaking more powerful than Superman on his own, but yet Superman always seems to be the one they use for every boss fight
@cosmicriptid New Gods don't give a fuck about the magic that's why supermans physical abilities had more impact on them than Shazam. And Diana is also very strong but she ain't doing shit against doomsday or Mongul, ain't gonna even touch Imperiex.
I would have preferred a less sarcastic Ryan Reynolds style green lantern. Maybe a John Stewart that was more level headed and understanding. More on Batman's level.
John does exist in this universe, its just that they were working with Hal, which makes sense since I think he's the first green lantern, or at least he's the founding JLA green lantern
This is a reference to the New 52, where Batman and Hall are the first heroes gathering (their Live-Action movies of that era movies are the reason why). Hal is likely just starting and haven't met the interstellar menaces that tend to be his main source of enemies.
Leave the funny guy heroes to marvel please. Having a cocky hero is much more interesting than a batman copycat. It fits with the green lantern egos about being the centre of the universe protectors
@@ovs4744 You may call me stupid if you wish but I don't get what you want. "Leave the funny guy heroes to marvel" implies you want DC's heroes to be less comedic. "Having a cocky hero is much more interesting then a Batman copycat" implies you do find the comedy to be fitting. Now I'm not attacking you, but you genuinely confuse me.
ironically it's actually not bigger than Hal, it's exactly what he is supposed to deal with, Green lanterns are meant to deal with things like this across the entire sector of space they are given jurisdiction over.
Apokalips is a bit outside of normal space, though, there's a reason it and New Genesis are collectively called the Fourth World. Probably not in Hal's jurisdiction.
The New Gods are NOT something that the Green Lanterns usually deal with. Villain like this are extremely difficult for even Lanterns to handle. This also includes other villains like Doomsday, who defeated hundreds of lanterns.
I’m not at all a fan of Batman but this Batman seems interesting, the one where he mentors people and is actually smart instead of the brute we see in most things
Batman being so vulnerable in order to impress the severity of the situation, to me, highlights his strength more than anything. He doesn't shy away from it or try to save face. He's just real. Love him.
Do you refer to Marvels' animated films? If so I agree. But I am concerned about the DC revamp coming down the pipe. It seems like an excuse to cut back on animation costs, and quality.
Clips like this remind why so many people admire batman so much and i mean the real batman who always wanted to whats best and wasn't a cocky or angry bastard all the time
I like this version of batman, he's not I am vengence, but; I want to make sure that no one will ever have to suffer the same loss. He isn't fighting a war, he's trying to save everyone.
Man, Jason O’Mara has to take the mantle from Kevin Conroy. His voice is awesome and not many Irish actors can do an American accent THAT well in a deep voice
This is probably my favorite version of Batman throughout all the movies, and all the animated shows calm with a quiet confidence. Not cocky, not arrogant, not too full of himself, and able to lead with humility and intelligence.
Its from jl war but its a series the series of movies in order Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) Justice League: War (2014) Son of Batman (2014) Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015) Batman vs Robin (2015) Batman: Bad Blood (2016) Justice League vs Teen Titans (2016) Justice League Dark (2017 Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay The Death of Superman Reign of the Supermen Batman: Hush Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Justice League Dark: Apokolips War Constantine: City of Demons End
Both this movie scene qnd the pages in the new 52 comic are amazing, solidified Batman as my favorite hero, I love this side of him. In a comic universe meant to show God amongst men inspiring hope it's nice having someone slightly more grounded and relatable like batman.
Its from Justice league war but its a whole series of movies really good heres the list if interested in order Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) Justice League: War (2014) Son of Batman (2014) Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015) Batman vs Robin (2015) Batman: Bad Blood (2016) Justice League vs Teen Titans (2016) Justice League Dark (2017 Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay The Death of Superman Reign of the Supermen Batman: Hush Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Justice League Dark: Apokolips War Constantine: City of Demon
This and many other scenes is why I love the DCAMU, its the best cinematic universe we've had for DC, and i hope James Gunns DCU is gonna be like this.
