Small easter egg I found : In the bar fight, we see Bruce use the pool stick to combat the enemies. Initially, when the stick is still in one piece, he uses it the way Robin would. When it gets broken in half, his fighting style resembles that of Nightwing and Batgirl, using the two parts of the stick as eskrima sticks. A very nice touch on what should be an amazing game series.
SPOILER ALERT: I love the part in this game where you choose whether to go as Batman or Bruce Wayne. It really illustrates how both are disguises for the real character.

Not at all, I'm LOVING this! Unbelievably good plotting and a great twist on the established Batman lore. It's so brilliant that in retrospect you have to wonder why it wasn't done before. There's storytelling pros to both the Waynes murders being totally random and them being a part of some conspiracy and both work well when done right. This story so far is done really, really right! To be honest, I'm expecting two things to happen: 1. Thomas Wayne will turn out not to have been an evil doctor but one who was in fact set up and then assassinated by the true evil doctor at the heart of the story... 2 DR. HUGO STRANGE!!!!!
I wish more of Telltale's work was ported to Netflix. That bankruptcy ruined everything. Even though the company is sort of making a comeback, the ship has already sailed.
@@Christian_playz_ Well they sort of made a comeback with Wolf Among Us season Two in the works and a developer named Skunkape Games made from former Telltale employees is remastering Sam & Max games. Season one released last year and Season Two remastered is coming next week.

exactly! she can take care of herself, sure, but she was hurt and it all went down so quickly so I don't really remember if Harvey was hurt too, but he wasn't facing guns. Plus I don't want to see Selina be mad at Bruce & you know what they say; "Women and children first!"

I love that the new movie drew from this storyline but still changed it up a bit. Really looking forward to how the Batman franchise is handled with this new narrative
a plot twist will be if Thomas Wayne is Clay face destroying his reputation and Alfred is behind all this, that would be epic and horrible at the same time
I know people are making a big deal of criticizing Troy Baker's Bruce Wayne/Batman performance but, while I agree that his performance isn't the best, he manages to get in a dark Adam West, which I find interesting and kind of original...

I'm really enjoying this game. I like how it allows you to make the choice of how you want to make the story progress. No right or wrong way to move it along. Just what you want and how you want it to be. The one thing I am shocked by is this whole Wayne family corruption thing, but of course that will reveal its true course as this goes along I'm sure.

I THINK there’s a comic story (couldn’t tell you which one) that reveals the Wayne’s were in deep with the Falcone family, or at least with the mob or whomever
In the new Batman movie it also portrays that Thomas Wayne had Falcone killed a reporter who was close to revealing his ties and corruption with the criminals of Gotham.
This is definitely one of my FAVORITE versions of Batman/Bruce Wayne! He's actually being balanced in personality and showing that he's still a man with feelings. In this one Bruce also looks kinda like ARCHER!😎😂
Damn. That's a really hard decision. Save Harvey or Selina... I'll choose Harvey because Selina I think can handle it by herself. She's Catwoman. While Harvey... Catwoman's tougher than him. But in this real life situation, I'll choose throw a couple of batarangs to Selina's side and one to Harvey's side. But I'm still loving this telltale series. Love it love it.
Telltale really deserves a Nobel prize for their very unique and different portrayal of Batman, His family name and his rogues gallery, brilliant storytelling.
saving Harvey is the only right choice being batman is about making sacrifices for the good of the city and not having a romance filled adventure. plus Selina new what she signed up for when she came along
I like how you have the choice to save Harvey and prevent him from becoming Two-Face - for now at least - but I still saved Selina. I guess Harvey's fate was inevitable anyway.

Would save Selina because: Love interest (might bite back later), she actually decided to risk her life to help, knows Bruce is Batman (if she feels betrayed, well...).Would save Harvey because: He is good friends with Bruce, his intentions appear to be for good and he's honest, his fate is pure cruelty.Would do if I were Batman: Move my butt fast after saving one of them instead of going to where they are to stare at them while the other is having big time trouble.Can't wait for the next part. Having Alfred basically confirm that Thomas and Martha Wayne "WERE THE BIGGEST GANGSTAS IN GOTHAM", was a pretty bold move by the game's creators. Hopefully they stick the landing, by the last episode. With the story ending with Bruce starting a Batfamily with Selina, and creating his own Wayne legacy. Basically the Dark Knight Rises ending, without Bruce retiring, faking his own death, and moving out of Gotham.
The choice of Selina or Harvey is an interesting one. While saving Harvety may have prevented Two Face, it still might have consequences for Batman as a person. There is also the chance that saving Selina leads to a full relationship between her and Bruce. As much as we all love Batman as the loner/father figure of the comics/tv/films, i think we all want to see him in a happy, and long lasting, relationship, and Selena would be the best chance at that possibility. Saving Harvey may have been right for Gotham, but saving Selina was probably right for Bruce, and that leads to the question of the many vs the one. I for one want to see Bruce's pain healed, at least once (No, i am not counting DKR, as Bruce had given up the cape, where i want to see their relationship while they both remain as Batman and Catwoman). As much as i like him as the selfless hero, sometimes the hero needs to be saved from themselves. And for this and many versions of Batman, she is the best hope of doing that.

Harvey becoming Two-Face is inevitable and/or interesting to see? Maybe. But it can happen later - not because Batman at one point decides to save a trained fighter who knows what she's doing instead of an untrained, civilian friend whom he believed will lead Gotham to a better place. Letting Harvey get half of his face smelt off is just NOT WHAT BATMAN WOULD DO. Making that decision based on knowing that 'Harvey will become Two-Face anyway' is something done with hindsight, not with this Batman's current level of knowledge and background. I would choose to save Harvey every time, even if I feel like tearing my hair out when I had to make that choice.
For me personally, I would be torn between who to save and who to let suffer. Saving Harvey obviously gets Gotham's White Knight on our side and he can use the law to take down all organized crime, leaving Batman and the police to finish off the scraps of disorganized crime. Saving Selina really does nothing more then getting a love interest/sidekick. But she's kinda cute too so the chivalrous man in me wants to save her. Damn, I'm so confused people.
The masked man is probably Joker, I mean, ties to arkham, drugs that make you go against sanity, doing the things you do to prove a point, and starting a fire under Gotham using the pain from other criminals, classic Joker. Either that, or it's Jason Todd again.
I feel like saving Selina is a way better choice. We all know damn well that Harvey Dent is destined to become Two Face, regardless of how it happens in this game, it's still supposed to happen. If you save dent, your just delaying his fate, and you leave Selina wandering alleyways with multiple gunshot wounds, Vs leaving Harvey as two face, and Selina at the Wayne manor.
Simple solution to the end decision between saving Harvey and Catwoman: Throw a batarang at Penguin while running towards Catwoman, because lets be honest, Batman could have easily saved both of them
We cannot confirm that Harvey Dent will become Two Face even if you chose to save him. While he does in other canons, we can already see from the way Telltale Games gave new meanings to Thomas and Martha Wayne's deaths, that this rendition aims to break free from conventional tellings. As such, claiming that saving Catwoman over Harvey Dent is better because the latter would become Two Face anyway is flawed. We, as the Batman, shouldn't be able to know that (right now). The decision comes down to whether you view the needs of the city (replacing a corrupted mayor) higher than that of personal gain (woohoo-ing with Catwoman). Truthfully speaking, without the benefits of multiple canons, the logical choice would be to save Harvey Dent. Catwoman has shown that she is more than capable of putting up a fight, not so much Harvey. This would lead to a lower chance of incurring casualties. P.S. I think Catwoman and Batman hooking up would probably be what sends Harvey over the edge (if save Catwoman was chosen).
MYSE harvey will still become two-face but saving him would slow him down a bit but yeah he still attacks the mansion and blows up the warehouse (spoiler alert)
That choice between Harvey and Selina is honestly hard. The game builds you up to really support Harvey no matter what, but then throws Catwoman at you. You want to save Harvey, but on the other hand you don't just say *_no_* to Catwoman. Based on how different this story is from the main continuity, maybe saving Harvey would've prevented him from becoming Two-Face.

Once again, thank you for keeping it realistic on Batman personality with the options you chose. But this is one crazy Universe. Batman parents where really corrupted here? Then that practically gives Bruce Wayne to stop being Batman a lot more less. Meaning he could be happier in this universe. The animation is great and feels like a real movie 🍿The penguin is like a evil version like Joker. Twisted. The original penguin is just a greedy killer but wouldn’t do twisted schemes like this.
