Yeah! I always found this really weird but like... cool at the same time If you generally stick on the path towards the story as a casual player, its a total of like... 5 to 9 hours, which could be contained in one night, it gives the game a actual sense of time
Speaking of Origins, I remember when Riddler said that "Tomorrow, I will reveal the network to everybody" or something but it's still happened in one night and Riddler is so pissed off when I stopped his plan even though I played it for 3 days and it's still Christmas Eve on the game.
Arkham Asylum: First to boot an awesome franchise. Best overall. Arkham City: Best exploration and story. Arkham Origins: Best gadgets and characters. Arkham Knight: Best and most polished combat system (including variations in enemy types during combat), and best world overhaul (LOTS to do). Each game brought something to the table, and for that I loved each and every second of it. Now Gotham Knights, on the other hand...
Someone already said it but I agree why do we count Gotham knights. Yes Gotham knights isn’t as good as the Batman games but I enjoy playing it with friends and the fact you can play through it 4 different times with 4 different characters with different voice lines through each play through and some of the bosses I enjoyed more than a lot of Arkham knight ones tbh, like clay face for example and the boss fights are definitely a lot more difficult than a lot of the Arkham series especially Talia and there is a fair amount of stuff to do in the game, maybe not as much as Arkham knight, but there’s a decent amount. But I will say the story ended off shittly with the expected ending of Batman coming back alive.
This whole game is so good..... EXCEPT the final showdown with Joker. Batman doesn’t fight Joker. Instead Batman has to beat up the baddies that couldn’t stop him the entire game
It'd have been better if Joker slowly progressed , like just being muscular at first, then his nails are claws, and finally he gets even bigger. Should have also been a constant threat, along with the thugs, and not just stand around 90% of the time. Maybe even make it so when Joker fell through the floor, you get another section, where he throws stuff at you a bit, and you need to pull stuff down on him, hit use your zip line thing once he is stunned to kick his face, sending him into an electric hazard or something.
@@DH_Artist Nah he was setting up the stuff for the “party”. He had Deathstroke watching Jason in the abandoned wing until Deathstroke helped him escape around, I think, the time of this fight.
I couldn't beat this game on PS3 because i was younger and didn't understand most puzzles in the game, i got the Remastered a couple months ago and it's easier than i thought it would be...
@@joeark9257 yeah. I got stuck in the Libary on the PS3. I tried for days, weeks to leave but i couldn't find the way out. I did it on PS4 not to long ago and got out in 2 minutes... Now, i wonder if i could actually beat Sonic 06...
I couldn’t beat Arkham City because I, for some reason, was scared of the most unlikely jump scares. Example: (In my mind) *Has to do the Wonder City trophies.* “Ahh shit, what if Ra’s comes back from the dead and jump scares me three times like a creepy pasta.”
I remember watching my dad play this game when I was really young, it was pretty nice. He even played the demo of Arkham City but he never bought the game, not sure why, but he bought Arkham Knight a year or 2 after he realized it was a game. He didn't beat that one either, but I'm a huge fan of the game and batman as a whole, so I dedicated myself to beating all of the games on hard mode. Asylum was a pain in the ass because I couldn't see when I should counter but I guess I got the hang of it after a while. I'm in the process of beating Arkham City on hard, but it has a really nice story which is a shame because it's pretty short. I already beat Arkham Knight on normal, but I'll definitely do it on Hard, just for the experience. I'm buying Arkham Origins next for sure, tell me your guys' thoughts on the games and which is your favorite atm. Mine is a tie between Arkham Asylum and City, both great stories, soundtracks, and all around pretty fun and challenging.
I’m a little late to the party but unfortunately I finished city and Knight way before I finished origins and asylum which was in the past week 😂😂 I’m starting over from origins to asylum then replaying city now, Origins was WAYYYY better than I remembered and criminally underrated despite the disgustingly horrific amount of glitch and lag there is during cut scenes and after fights when you get XP. All in all Origins to me was better than Asylum which I just finished so I’m going to see how City and Knight go since it’s been years that I’ve finished both 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
about November 2020 i bought the xbox game pass and then i seen arkham knight and thought i should play it midas well. it was amazing honestly. only thing i don’t like is using the bar mobile for every boss fight but all and all it was definitely the game that made me interested into the other ones. my brother bought return to arkham so i played arkham asylum but it was hard.getting into it
then in august of 2021 i bought return to arkham on my xbox. i did about 6% of it then never returned to it because it got kind of boring. then just this month about on january 11th. i decided “what the hell let’s try this again.” and about 15 mins ago i completed the joker boss, and here we are. and i’m gonna install arkham city and play that. asylum started slow but gradually took off. asylum and knight are neck and neck but i think since i played knight first it will always hold a special place in my heart. this one will too though, definitely.
I just realized how painful it has to be when transform into a titan cuz a lot of flesh and bones are exposed around the body but being your normal self would have to be VERY PAINFUL cuz wouldn't that mean there would still be some blood and stuff exposed or something? I'm very curious about this¿¬¿
All the boss fights are practically the same - it’s a great game but the boss fights barely vary in terms of gameplay and their overall execution (unless you count The Scarecrow missions which are some of the best parts of the game, or I guess Victor Zsasz but that’s not really a boss fight). Every boss in the game is just a big hulking monster that you throw shit at and beat up when they’re stunned
@@smilingdevilproductions not really, poison ivy, killer Kroc (kinda counts as a boss), Harley, and scarecrow had their uniqueness and differences and Jokers was just like Banes’ and the Brutes but without the batarang throwing
I beaten all the Arkham games when I was little except Origins (I was nearly a teen when Knight came out and I beat it when I was 13 in 2019)I couldn’t beat the TN-1 Bane in Origins because he would always destroy all the vents for me to surprise him.
@@DeathLore if you still haven’t beaten TN1 Bane then what you can do is also sneak up behind him or hide in the grates on the floor and when he’s above you pop up also when your on TN1 Bane try to throw him into the electric things on the walls
@Kenshiro Hakuto shinken well mr. Somebody all games you have stated are playable through ps emulator on pc in best quality. I think you don't know. Look at little kenshiro jr. Gonna cry😭 Strings doesn't it..
13:44 Joker: Ready for the next round?😈 Batman: Always.🦇🦇🦇🦇 Joker: WHAT?!!!!!!! 😡😡😡 Batman: I'll never let you win Somehow I love these quotes, showing that no matter how many tricks Joker has up his sleeve, Batman always stands ready no matter what he has planned.
6:07 - 6:33 Joker's Villainous Breakdown: This proves that Joker wanted to take down Batman by making him laugh, and make the world giggle and bleed at the same time. Joker's a monster.
"I can't even say that's the most messed-up thing he did." "Don't do performance-enhancing drugs, kids." "I thought about takin' Titan once. Just wanted to be muscly... uhh MORE muscly." "His bones are outside of his skin. Is that correct?"
If you think about it, It's so God Damn Badass that after all the shit that happened in this game... Batman is so chill enough to go and take down two-face after dealing with a bunch of titan monsters instead of resting at least a bit, Simply The Batman
I flawless ran (completing the game without taking a single hit or being seen) all of the Batman games last month and holy fuck guess how many times I watched the cutscene at 0:00
oh this was so good when you could imagine how the villains would be based on the clues and bios. how you see gotham and imagine you can enter every house there like you can enter every house in arkham island. imagine how every place would feel so handmade like every corridor in arkham is like from horror movie...then came the sequels that while good pretty much just say "sorry man but we couldnt do it all"
After 6:41 I was suddenly on the roof arena with a transformed Joker and he was just standing there letting me hit him infinitely. I managed to get the 40 combo achievement easily before reloading latest checkpoint which continued normally.
Something that I don't think ever gets brought up in the future games is that while Joker and Batman both need to be cured of the titan poisoning nobody ever brings up the infected from this game. Even after you encounter a few titan thugs in City nobody asks about what happened to the infected inmates and (I would guess from this fight) guards that were turned into monsters, sure they eventually turn back to normal but they're probably also dealing with the same toxin in their blood. I kind of also wonder about Bane since he got the titan pumping through his veins as well, is he going to die from poisoning or did Batman get him a cure to help him beat the addiction?
