The power window switch was changed the next day at the shop and I double checked the draw with her OBDII dongle (from Progressive not a sponsor) plugged in and it settled at 38ma. Dongle unplugged it was 9ma. Problem solved 😉. Remember folks, follow the data and you will get to the answer faster than Google, guessing, past experience, common failures or just flat out guesses. The data/facts never lie! **HANDY INFO** -www.powerprobetek.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/fuse-charts.pdf -ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lRcj1fQcWwU.html&ab_channel=HumbleMechanic

Kevin, sadly many of Mr. O's viewers will not have the level of appreciation that you, or I, or several others have for the absolute "Gifts" he bestowes on the masses. It pains me to know that, and yet he willingly gives. We cannot stop him from giving away his knowledge, it's in his nature....We can only hope they give something back, by supporting him any way possible, and keep him off the street where Mrs. O can keep an eye on the lunatic. -Cheers!

Great replies Kevin and Daniel I am in the same boat. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, there are so many that boast how long they’ve done something for and that they shouldn’t be questioned because of this but there are many times and people that I’ve worked with over the years that yes, they’ve been doing it for a long time, but have been doing it wrong. Eric is a rare breed and lots can learn from him. Glad that’s he’s from little ole Avoca, proves that you don’t have to be from some recognized giant corporation to show someone a thing or two.

Had one and it was terrible. It thinks you're driving in a perfect world. Here in NJ that shit ain't happening. It would beep at least a dozen times a day.

So when I switched to them because I was paying too much for a vehicle that isn't operated 5 or 6 days a week on average. They even made use it but I told them I didn't drive the truck. Well they soon understood. When the truck only drove like 60 miles a month. Its a 2016 and only has 35,000 miles on it.

Some of those 7th gen accords did come with a group 51 battery. They did seem out of place because the plastic shield would be for a group 35 as well as the hold down.

24 F would be a better choice with all these small under powered Honda battery sizes. WalMart best warrenty and cheapest $88.00. Need longer tie downs...

Nice job as usual. Thanks for multiple videos on such things as parasitic draw and brake jobs, etc.... These (IMO) are super common issues that "If I can do it, you can do it" Repetitive watching really helps get your head wrapped around diagnosing anything, not just cars.

The state of that switch would of had to be an observational note on the initial walk thru just like those fuses under the hood. Somebody or something (claw hammer) had been there before. Actually compared to the rest of the door and interior that switch looked like a replacement from another vehicle.

Love the diagnostic process. Helped me with a Kia injector issue. Almost fired the parts cannon at it, until I just looked at the injector and saw some mice had chewed through the signal wiring at the injector. Splice and patch and tested OK. Thanks for the knowledge and lessons on diagnosing! Invaluable.

Man, spotting that horn honk being absent and going to the lock switch was a thing of beauty. Powerful deductive skills there. Great class. I've watched this video a few times now and I have taken down the target diagram in my notes. I just hope I can pull it off when the time comes. Thanks Eric!

Been watching your videos, really like the way you show everyone how to do troubleshooting, went ahead and subscribe, I'm a retired diesel mechanic, served in the air force then went to work as a mechanic taking care of Macdill AFB grounds equipment so I got to work on a little bit of everything. Keep up the good job and take care of that pretty wife of yours.
