I really like how balanced these depictions are. Not propaganda but a true historical depiction of what went down which is very rare in ind-pak coverage.

@@IndianMilitaryHistory Respected Sir Greetings for the day! I am Abhimanyu Joon, resident of Vallabh Vidyanagar, District Anand (Gujarat). The place where I reside is named after independent India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel because this place is also his birthplace. My family has been blessed with the opportunity to have served the nation since last 4 generations covering a period of 100 years beginning from World War-1 till date. My grandfather Colonel Baljit Singh, who is the third-generation officer of my family fought for protecting the integrity and sovereignty of the nation during the 1965 Indo-pak war in Sialkot sector, as a member of 3 Madras regiment that constituted 69th Infantry Brigade; 6 Mountain Division. For his active participation in that war, he has been bestowed upon with SAMAR SEVA STAR, RAKSHA MEDAL and SAINYA SEVA MEDAL. I would like to request if you could make an animation video concerning Battle of Maharajke that was fought during 1965 Indo-pak war in Sialkot sector, inside the enemy territory. This battle led to capture of pakistani Rangers' Recruitment cum Training centre deep inside enemy territory and provided a launch pad for Indian tank regiments to launch further attacks further inwards leading some of the fiercest battles such as Battle of Phillora, which was the largest tank battle fought after World War -2 on the Indian subcontinent. Attack on Maharajke and its subsequent capture had many first to it. It was the first trans-border operation conducted by Indian Army for the first time since independence. It involved elements of urban warfare, which involved house-to-house clearing during capture of Maharajke. The Americans had their first experience of urban warfare during Operation Iraqi Freedom (2002-03) after which this type of warfare got popularised, while Indian Armed forces had experienced it 50 years ago during 1965 itself. Maharajke and its nearby towns and villages such as Phogawal, Kaloi, Phillora, Alhar remained under Indian occupation for 5 months from Sept'65 till Feb'66 when Taskhent pact was formally implemented. However the irony is the above operation of Maharajke led by the constituent units of 69th Infantry Brigade(6 Mountain Div) which included 3 Madras regiment, one of the oldest infantry units of Indian army could not find it due mention in the official war history that was written 20 years after the war by PhD students from JNU at the behest of Indian Defence Ministry. 9:08 Major general niranjan Prasad probably was most incompetent general . He had a bad record In 1962 war and the way he executed the situation in nefa. During in 1965 war he wasn't able to lead units in pakistan . He by mistake went into enemy position and was hit by enemy fire . At end he fled and hid in sugarcane . His jeep and brief case wad captured and used by Pakistanis for propoganda . The best commander of india in 65 was major harbakshsingh . He anhaliated pakistans first armored division at asal uttar.

In 1965 Pakistan army has no corps in Lahore sector, only one brigade arrange from backside of gujrawala corps, after 1965 Pakistan raised 2 more corps one in Lahore holding 3 divison with 6 independent brigades of different trade such as 2 armoured brigade, 2 artillery,2 infantry, for Lahore sector covering kasoor sector also ,2nd raised corps Bahalpur holding 3 divison some extra brigade also. Till today now Indian army holding total 40 divisons ,where Pakistan army holding 30 divison, the balance of war is equal till today order of battle because Indian army 12 divisons are already under eastern command which working in eastern areas such as Assam, arunchal, nagaland, Manipur west Bengal, Sikkim, today I think on Western sector India Pakistan has balance power of order of battle,
