@Floating in Dreams I've heard many many people say that about 1-4. So many reviews on #5 talked about how the quality was better. I thought about getting #4, but the reviews stop me.
Hi Maaike I only own the Viseart and I do really like it, but for me it was missing a light purple and the paler shades I really need to make it work the best for me. The original lavande quad gives me the shades I was missing and they work as a duo for me - truly better together. I am ultra pale however and most people will not need the paler shades I felt were lacking. For me it was always a smoky purple eye alone (which I do like), but isn't always the look I'm going for. The UD ultraviolet was such a massive disappointment to me when it was released - so few purples and a peach heavy palette. I rarely wear peach tones (occasionally in the Summer) and half of the palette would have been unused, so I never bought it and don't regret that decision. The viseart has the purples and the pale green that interested me, but with a more taupe leaning cast of "neutrals" rather than peach tones. I also own the Viseart amethyst and it gives me more plums as a different variant of purple, whereas the violette is more violet as the name suggests. The Amethyst also has some pretty pale pinks I really like included. It's now a bit older, bu still really performs well even now. Viseart is my favourite eyeshadow brand - the shadows are smooth on my 51 year old lids, they wear all day, blend very well and have minimal fallout if any. They just work for me. Best wishes.
