I mean... they DO have a badge thats literally a Gamecube where if equipped, you replace the remade ost with the original one. So if you ever got tired of the remixes just spend one coin (literally thats the price tag in game) on that badge and equip it whenever you want and bam you at least maintain the original battle theme. They figured that either not everyone will like the new songs or at least wanted the original one to remain intact so this is a neat extra.
@@ivegonesickomode1610 well... unless they also have a jukebox badge in the game that lets you play your preferred song anywhere anytime im afraid your out of luck. But who knows? Game wont drop for another few weeks we havent seen everything.
ALRIGHT! They are going Origami King style with the Battle music! And by that I mean more than one version of normal battle music. I will definally enjoy that.
Me personally I LOVED the original battle theme and would prefer to have this one play all the time but I’m open to the idea of different themes for different areas I’m just excited to see what they do with the game!
I just beat the game and god damn, they went all-out on the new OST. Don't wanna spoil anything, buuuuut...let's just say that most of the "new content" comes in all the crazy additions to the OST (there's lots of neat additions big and small of course). Riverside Station battle theme is effing amazing. Hope the full OST gets uploaded soon!
i've been holding off on uploading since i'm doing a playthrough myself. Once that's out of the way i'll try to get some songs out as well just gotta be careful with those copyright strikes lolll
@@yumenochi Yeah, sadly, it's dangerous territory nowadays, at least when it comes to Nintendo. Can't really blame you or anyone else for choosing to play it safe. I beat the game last night. There's nothing new if you played it on Gamecube...though you might enjoy the new end credits
the full song of the Hootail’s Castle version of the battle theme has been revealed in this video if you want to upload it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8H5tyk_vDbI.htmlsi=4xNL25-4hbEmHsBi
I’m surprised they didn’t go for full live orchestration for this game. A lot of the instruments sound like samples. It’s understandable since theyre making so many variations of each theme, but that seems out of character when the last two games went all out in that regard.
Not bad but I still prefer the original not because of nostalgia but I like the techno beat compare to this one but hey least it gives you the option to switch music.
the original version is FAR better. this is just way too much horn. they took away all the percussion and hand-clappy drum hits that made the original feel hype. just all the stuff that made the original theme so great has just been sucked dry! not everything needs to be remade
I definitely like this newer version more. It’s bombastic and brings a whole new flavor to the remake. I hate it when remakes just simply make cleaner-sounding versions of original songs. This is a NEW version, and I like that a lot. It’s extremely close-minded to say the music shouldn’t be remade.
