I started playing this for the first time ever a few weeks ago after 2042's massive fail. Steam was running a great sale, and Broken Machine's videos look so dope and fun I figured why not. I absolutely love it. I should have played this year's ago. Better late than never I guess 😎

My favorite Battlefield, it was truly a work of art. EA couldn't replicate this if their lives were on the line.

Bf1 is the way. I have spoken. I have been playing every day since this masterpiece came out

V and 2042 just couldn't get the feel right like 1 did. I tried them, didn't like them, went back to my usual life in 1. Until they make a battlefield that can rival it, this game will not die

Bf1 is like CSGO...something that hopefully never dies. It is really satisfying to see full servers everyday. 🙏🥰

Bought it again 2 days ago. Playing yesterday 7 hours. Its just fantastic. With the boys in Operation its just fucking epic ! And got it for 10€ 😅 So guys LETS GO FOR BTF 1 ! CHARGEEEE!!!

I'll never forget what happened at Fao Fortress. I was a pilot. My squadron was ordered to carry out strafing runs on Ottoman field gun positions so our boys on the ground could get through. Because high command only was tightened up, we were sent in with only 4 planes and no fighter escorts. Because we had only 3 tanks on the ground, we could not afford to lose 1. As the siege began, we cleared out the the first one with ease. By the time we got to the second island, enemy fighters closed in on us. We lost one of our planes was shot down, he didn't survive as he crashed into the fortress itself. Luckily, we captured the second island and our boys on the ground took advantage of captured AA guns, so air superiority was once again on our side. By the time we made it to the Castle, an Ottoman Dreadnought destroyer joined the battle as a last line of defense. So we then focused on taking down or at least doing significant damage to the boat to keep their artillery guns off our boys. It was a brave but stupid decision. We were no match against the ship's strong armor. The ship's anti-air defenses targeted us and the plane caught flames. As the throttle broke, I did my best to repair it, but I was out of time. The plane was heading straight for the castle. We jumped out and landed at sea, far from the battle. I watched in horror as my tail gunner parachuted out of bounds. He swam for his life before the 10 seconds countdown reached zero. He drowned before we won the battle. But at a cost no one will understand. When we returned home, I told his mother he died fighting bravely and took a bullet straight to the head.

I have played BF1 since the beginning. It is the best BF since BF3 in my opinion. It's gritty, fast paced and tactical. You can play the game so many ways and its brilliant. It's fun on so many levels because even if you're not great (like me) you can hop in a tank and rack up some decent kills! This is the best BF1 game to be made recently and the fact that the same people who brought us this game made that complete lump of excrement 2042 is hard to believe. What happened??

Battlefield 1 was truly in the right spot when it comes to game design and sometimes map design..since in some maps it seems like people just go into a heavy tank or light tank and just camp the main spawn half the damn time. But past that it's pretty fun and vary well made... sad to say that EA and dice had a falling off point when it came to making great shooters

I'm redownloading this game tonight.. it truly is the best shooter.

Battlefield 1 is and honestly is the only game that made me feel like I was on a real battle trying to accomplish an actual goal resonated to some type of terms of WW1. I realize some the gun attachments, items and things were stretched or had some type of video game aspect to them but overall the game had an overall feel and vibe that was unmatched to any other game I have ever played.

how can ppk be so BLIND?! i literally never have this kind of chances! when i do flank in bf1 and v, the enemy team spots me after the first kill or even before that, wich results me getting instantly one shotted

I used to whoop some serious ass playing this game on Xbox before it pretty much died on console with the release of BFV. Today I’ll see if I still got it in me when I play it on pc for the first time.

Battlefield 3 and 1 are truly the best games when it game to realistic warfare. What they lacked in a campaign, they definitely made up for in multiplayer

if you beat the s. out of the enemy team without dying of course every game will feel insane. But the graphics and cinematics in battlefield 1 where ahead of its time. 2022 still the best game ever. I remember on release playing it a ton and doing 100+ kills every second or third round i really enjoyed it to mutch XD.

Anyone else struggle at finding games on console? I’m on ps4. I can sometimes find games in search. But typically can’t use quick game or something. Always loads me into 0 player lobbies.

In terms of atmosphere, by far the best Battlefield game.

Aye guys. I just started playing again and on the European servers I can only find a very limited amount of TDM or Domination matches through quick play. Is it a problem that I don't have the Premium Pass because of the maps I'm missing or is this a general problem? I would definitely consider getting the pass, but only if that gives my an experience with well filled servers of course. I'd love to get some advice from you guys:)

Never liked the Battlefield 1 multiplayer for the unbalanced gunplay that Dice never changed, but the campaing it's something incredible

Had 60 hours on here from prior years and havent touched since 2018 but got it back up last night. Bunch of servers and game still relatively full. Did run into very one sided matches but the game is still so damn good and fun it didn't matter and it's too old to take the stats that seriously. This is the last great battlefield! BFBC2, BF3, BF4, are definitely what I consider peak BF. But this is the only 'modern BF' that holds up so far after 3 attempts. Maybe 4? If you count hardline as a 'modern' BF/Next Gen at the time.
