Battlefield 1 is still a great arcade Battlefield title and it's currently free on Prime Gaming. Give it a go if you haven't already. Shotgun madness on Argonne Forest! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
Man, the atmosphere of this game. The soundtrack, the environments, the dirt and blood that splatters all over your weapons and clothes. The entire landscape with craters and demolished structures.tanks on fire, people on fire, the others players calling out for help or in pain. This was the most immersive war game for me.
@@dampmaky squad definitely has the most realistic mechanics. This game immerses u with how it looks and sounds. Obviously the fighting isn't very realistic. More of a casual game. I love BF. But i really wish i could play some milsim games like squad and arma
I agree.. with the exception of elite kits and horseback riders. I understand that for balance reasons they can't just get shot once and die but it's always felt way out of tune
Honestly think this is the best battlefield ever, the memories from this game dude it's one of the first games I've ever played and it's insane. Plus the time period is pretty fascinating
@@damienduff7471 lol bf3/4 was known as running simulator but was great in mid/short range combats it was pretty quiet tho in a lot of maps . Problem is about Battlefield games they failed to capture a war essence where it felt like chaos. There were some maps such as metro which were pretty amazing. But bf1 nailed the atmosphere. You're hearing Screaming and explosions everywhere. Now while some people don't like this. When you did play it, it genuinely felt like you were playing in a trailer. And for some people that was amazing. The operations in bf1 were known as the best in the franchise as it was so immersive and felt like you were progressing as a team and was satisfying pushing regions across the map. Every game had its downfall so did bf1 but even veterans addmited bf1 hands down had the best war immersion play ever. You genuinely felt like you were in a war and vulnerable.
In my opinion, BF1 is a piece of art. It's like an interactive film. And also single player campaign is awesome (the scene of the pigeon that go outside the tank and the music fade to a calm and soft music...loved that part). Never played a game immersive like this.
I bought this game back when it released because of your videos! I also followed every single one of your easter egg hunts! Thanks for the great memories Mr. Frags!
Was going to comment “wow, did Jack just drink an espresso before making this video” when Jack goes, “I may have had too much sugar today…” I like hyper Jack!
@@michaelhowe8674 really? I tried playing a month ago on ps4 and I couldn’t find any lobbies. If it is having a resurgence then I’m definitely gonna re download it because I’m still not a fan of BFV
@@ulissesm2686 it depends on where and what you play for xbox in America its really easy to find a full lobby but a half lobby is average for after midnight
I recently decided to hop on battlefield 1 and was happy to see that battlefield 1 is alive and not infested with hacking. I have really taken a love for the Lebel infantry even though it's just iron sights.
On pc there are a lot, but I like how almost all players in the lobby take a moment to report the cheater and then start fighting again. The comunity is beautiful.
Ive been playing loads of BF4 recently and watching BF1 games play makes me appreciate how highly details the maps are on this game this map in particular... the fire on the ground and detail in the plants and burnt sections and ash flying in the air.... incredible.
@@neverknowsbest5656 Fully agree, I enjoyed BFV a lot, but when I switch from BF1 to BFV it's virtually unplayable with bullets not hitting and the recoil being too high on ALL weapons meaning you can barely hit anyone.
@@neverknowsbest5656 Can make it slightly too difficult though, especially with the less visible players in BFV due to the more complex maps, bushes etc. I loved BFV and most of the maps but going back to it now is frustrating. :(
@@epistimonkapetanios You seem to just be a hater by the crap you’re spewing in all these comments. Clearly it’s not your cup of tea, so why do you keep drinking it?
I love the cavalry class in this game, it’s like the ww1 version of the helicopter with its hit and run tactics but I can actually use it without crashing into a wall instantly.
I just started playing this gem again myself on XB1 this weekend past. Lots of fun if you don't take things too seriously. Been watching your videos around the same time as well. Thanks for the content.
Jack dealing with a flame thrower on Argon at the beginning of the video: oh I'll just go behind him and shoot him with my shotgun Me when dealing with a flamethrower on argon: run, run, run away! Game changing event that is
Adding BF1 would’ve added so many possibilities. Imagine a custom match of Battleships vs Zeppelins [although I think one of the DLC maps was exactly that]
@@Shepard_AU Would be pretty fucking boring honestly, the battleships were control by 4 people, 2 of which didnt even have anti air cannons, so its 2 people mindlessly shooting AA at a zepplin while the zepplin would just spam bombs. Dont really see how thats fun to play, but okay.
@@connorbranscombe6819 Well, it’s mostly the epic factor of seeing and being able to control a battleship and zeppelin [as well as the many other coastal guns, trains, airships and vessels]. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll see another Battlefield where we get to use such a range of massive vehicles that can be fully operated and driven.
@@nothajzl nobody hated it it just was a tough sequel to follow up mw2 with. you cant recreate how iconic that game was and people sadly compared the two. i wish i would have enjoyed mw3 more at the time tbh
I just started playing BF1 after being a hardcore BF4 and BF5 fan, and my favorite loadout is the Scout class with an infantry bolt action rifle. It's a ton of fun to hit those sweet spot kills.
I’m hoping that in Battlefield Portal you’ll be able to customize the soundtrack for your game modes, I’d love to hear that glorious soundtrack from bf1 again!
Been playing full operations and conquest lobbies on xbox for the past couple weeks! Can't see any servers in the server browser though, so I'm forced to use quick match lmao
