Recently, I have had players instantly respawn when they know I am coming to revive people and people jumping out of their planes as soon as I get in them and I don't have the time to fly for them

The supposedly correct revive depends on the situation, and it is one of two solutions for a medic: 1- If your teammate is in front of the enemy fire or the battle is so intense, i.e. No cover or enemy is marching on you with no hesitation >>> Don't revive them, because you're just asking them to die again, and you're making yourself an easy target for your enemy, or 2- If you checked the area and made sure that there are no enemies around, (because 99% will always be near the dead teammate),and you're out of the sniper view, if killed by a sniper >>> only then you can revive them. I play as a medic and, in fact, your teammates will never blame you for not reviving them in times of hard and impossible situations. It's always been called >>>> Rambo revives. In my opinion, they are ruining the game for you and your teammates in terms of having fun and winning the match. I know it is hard, for some people, to NOT revive their teammates, however, just know that you're not helping with the Rambo revives, (You think you do, but you're not). I do that sometimes, but it always ends with me and my teammate DEAD, so try to practice not to rush to the revive carelessly. I play mostly medic, and hearing that rare “Thanks” makes me happy every time. I might not be good at killing the enemies, but by god I’ll make sure I’m not the only one still shooting
The only time I never thank my medics are when we are in the heat of battle(still sometimes do it) or when he revives me with a shot gun barrel to my head.
I'm also playing mostly medic (this game I think is not dead) Fiodorow (One of the best weapons dor my style of playing) plus surgine and medic box are the most important things for me in BF1 Exceptions where I don't play mostly medic is a mode in which scouts killing with one hit whith most of their weapons
Marcus Sanders I appreciate that sentiment in medics but that's pretty dumb. Some revives are not worth it and will just cost you a death and your team a medic. Assess each revive individually and decide whether or not the scene is safe enough to conduct a revive.
TheIdealGod sometimes your just in the heat of the moment in operations going for every Rambo revive on the last assault twenty minutes later you singlehandedly kept the ticket bleed down had 0 kills and like 20 deaths with 70+ plus revived and your top 5 on the leaderboard often times you just don't have the time to stop and assess the situation
Me: Runs through enemy tanks, legions of enemies, gas grenades, flames, wire and when i'm just about to revive an ally and have the syringe right in my hand... HE SKIPS!
When you die, I'll be there. When you need healing, I'll be there. When our odds to win almost seem uncertain, I'll be there. When mine KD is filled with assists but no kills, I'll be standing selflessly there. all I'm trying to say is.. I GOT YOU FAM!
I was playing operation underground on BFV and when we exited the train station to go to the big building at the end of their objectives (breakthrough) I was reviving everyone I could and got one of the cool medals
@@Hurngh-x7eI had a similar experience in Monte Grappa where literally the entire server started fighting over the fortress gun. I was on the side that was trapped inside the bunker; it was an all you could eat buffet for revives.
Only in battlefield can you revive someone who gets shot point blank in the chest with a shotgun, gets shot in the head with an anti tank rocket, or gets run over by a heavy tank. But can't revive someone who got hit over the head with a wooden club while they're wearing a metal helmet
Or if their body is in any of the following: In a crate In a table In a fence In a door In a wall Or any sort of weird thing the ragdoll gets stuck in God it feels so awful to be right next to them and not be able to get them up because one arm is clipping through a table...

There really needs to be a hidden stat that applies only for revival. Like if they take damage that would put them below -100% of their health, they can't be revived.

We did not have this problem in BF1942. I remember once on the map ''Omaha beach''. I was wonded, in cover and in heavy fire. I scream after a medic and right away a guy send a ''roger that'' and run to me with a medic pack in his hand. Even when hell was breaking loose under heavy machine gun and artillery all around us he ran to me, but was gun down in front of me. Another medic came to me after that and saved me but i will never forgett that player who risked its life to let me live on. A awsome but heartbreaking moment for me as a 11 year old kid. Got me some insight that war is fucking hell!

Anyone who plays medic gets me when I say this: Don't we all love it when we run to revive someone the second they die and they respawn? or when you revive everyone a billion times and the ONE time you don't get to someone suddenly you're the worst player?
My favourites would be when they scream medic and then bayonet charge into about 10 guys and a tank. Those you literally defy death itself to reach only for them either respawn or charge into battle and die - again, and those that just plain do not return the favour after you revive them. We medics don't ask for much, but it seems that BF1 has a lot less patient players than in previous games like BF3 and BF4.....

I usually don't but sometimes, sometimes, I just get tired of seeing the respawn screen half a sec after a res. And sometimes, areas clear and a medic floats around at 10m then right as the skip happens suddenly he is in resing distance but too late lol.
ya, but f89ry7, there is no way for a medic to know if someone is skipping. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the res icon, ran out into gun fire, and got half way only then to find out he was skipping.
I love saving people. If I ever make it to him in time he's gonna be a bullet sponge for me plus free heals. And having more teammates around increases the chance that the area's gonna be safe (esp if he's a squad leader then he's a walking spawn point). Mercy/Medic main in BF2,3,2142
Wmky also when after you revive them they go instantly in the danger zone without cover and die 5 sec later........with 15 sec cool down medic skill they instantly blame me........all my effort rushing into hail of explosion and bullet just to revive someone.....few second later blamed me
@@Mr-Ad-196 You shouldn't revive people on the crossfire. Take your time, fire some bullets, wait till the place is halfway secured. That's when you do the reviving. Of course though, if there is cover, you won't be shot.
I'm more afraid of people thinking that i'm not doing my job as a medic because i can't revive their corpse which lie right in the open under heavy enemy fire, sorry but i rather have myself alive so i can keep more people alive.
Haruka Sena personally I think it's worse when a noob medic keeps reviving you when you're at a doorway with the enemy shooting through. you get like ten deaths from one.
Resilient Bug The trick is to try to heal everyone at once to the point where you can barely get a chance to get one shot off in a random direction with a handgun every five minutes. At that point either you feel like some random recruit outta Private Ryan, skittering around like a rat, panicking and screaming like a little girl as you keep everyone else healthy, or you feel like some sorta god of healing, with doves and shit flying around as you do what the medic in this video did.
Jordan Chan Same! I usually go on PC and revive my friends because my ping is so bad I can't get kills sometimes. So it doesn't matter if I end up with only about 15-20 kills by the end of the round (and twice as many deaths) because it's all about your bros. Boys camp with their sniper rifles, but men play medic and help their team.
Only revive once it is safe. My friends always rage when I don't revive, so I did once while in a firefight to prove my point, and he got even more mad at me. Why does everyone hate us medics?
Whenever i play medic i definitely try to help people where i can, I'm not the kind of medic that will run out into open fire to try and get a res, but I'll definitely try to get one where i think i can. Sometimes it works and sometimes not but I'd rather save a ticker or come out equal rather then lose 2. I believe a smart medic doesn't blindly revive unless he thinks it's safe.
Le Red Spy when i played tf2... before THAT update..... i was a sniper\medic main aka. if there are not medics/or there are medics that dont even try to heal, then i do my best efforts to heal everyone... if there were useful medics on the team then i was a sniper. good old times with my medic, all the respect from my fellow teammates... i wish that tf2 was like before THAT fucking update....

If i see a friendly fall and a medic kit nearby, i will fucking take it and i will revive my friendly. I will pick up other kits just to give ammo for fucksake. We need more teamplayers.
I do the same damn thing, when I'm playing as support I spam ammo to everyone. Same deal as medic. Spam. Oh have full health and ammo, well take some anyways.
Man I'm that one medic that will run through all kinds of gunfire just to get that revive. I'll heal you when you need it too. And screw those guys that respawn when I am right by there body to revive. That pisses me off man
