In addition you should learn that traditionally the italians have never been scared and never given up in front of difficulties since the roman repubblic (look at the roman reaction after the defeat of Cannae against Carthage); about WW1, they won alone against the austrians despite their tremendous defeat of Kobarid. And look also how they've been facing coronavirus (about this current moment). This is why the Italian people deserve admiration.

This is not entirely correct. The armor would protect you from standard rifle round from more than 125 meters away - or closer if it hit at an angle. That sounds far but the reality of mountain warfare is that you have people shoot at you from decent distances. It's also useful for soldiers manning machine gun murder holes and is good against shrapnel. Larger caliber would get you as well. (I looked up field tests for this armor.... it weighed 50 kilos!!!)

The armor absolutely protected from handgun rounds, shrapnel, etc.

beaverix there were plenty of automatic weapons. they were just hard to make and reserved for the best men. there were machine guns aswell.

Same here, especially on hardened and above, the AA gun overheated to fast and often given how many bombers were coming one after another and how quick they were coming in. Same story when they start targeting you but the problem is now the fighters are shooting you as well as bomber gunners and if you're lucky, the gun won't overheat too much and you won't die in 2 seconds while the gun cools down for 5

Arditi may be an elite formation, but they dont have the best of everything, i looked up in history, that arditi forces are poorly equipped that they removed barrett knifes from rifles to create a dagger, even cut em half to make 2
