I have a series x and although I do still play battlefield 1 and sometimes 5, this is my favourite battlefield that I play most of the time, I'm 40 years old and remember playing back on my PS3 now it's free on gamepass.
Naw, BF1942 was the bomb back in the day. This 1943 is just next gen stuff. And it would be better, except it only has three maps, and lacks offline play. So I can confidently say that BF1942 is better, though this takes second place due to the sheer demolition ability. I'm still used to playing 1942, seeing 7 different weapon classes, 3 of which are obsolete but still fun to have, while watching broken bots on easy mode running into walls. Still scary when you're only 6 and they are "bad guys", though. Also, there were alot more vehicles per map in 1942, which made up for its sad graphics, and the concept of running out of ammo actually made logistics something to consider. It's also the first game with the awesome battlefield music theme we know so well today. :)
Remember playing this when I was 7 years old, having no clue hardly how to shoot a gun, now I’m 17 in a few months and still remember the placement on bunkers and buildings, and they still come back into my memories time to time for no reason, just thought I would say 🤣
Had a lot of fun with this game, being so stripped down in progression etc you never were behind, was always an equal fight - loved decimating the jungle area near the Iwo Jima airfield of trees.
Played 1942 twenty years ago. I played so much I had to got carpel tunnel on my wrist. I had to switch to a trackball. I have been play 1943 on an xbox S and it is fun.
@@smokeybear1597 Mine is in Xbox Marketplace. Backward Compatible category. If owned, search in the Library on xbox one/series x/s. But for Ps3, I have no clues.
This was by far where I spent most of my hours on my XBOX 360. I was in the top twenty on the Battlefield 1943 Leaderboard. It’s a crying shame they didn’t come out with a sequel given its success. ❤
I love watching videos without commentary. It's so nice to just sit back and drink in those sound effects I grew up with. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that specific "GRENAAAAAADE" or "ENEMY ARMOR" I'd be a wealthy man indeed
This was a fun game, it's basic Battlefield! I love the sound when you get hit by an explosion, it's like you dropped a boom mic or something. LOL. 15:33 and 18:30
I only had this game because it was a free download bundled with some other game. I remember I used to rage quit call of duty and fire this up 😂 Honestly it was pretty fun
The only Inaccuracy here is that the Japanese version of M1 Garand is rare to find IRL. Not to mention that it's uncommon. And they're not using 30 cal MGs or Shoulder fired Anti-Tank launchers/rockets.
i don't regret not buying the ps5 and buying the xbox series x it was worth it i liked it too much even more than the playstation i really missed too much xbox I really liked the exclusive xbox and LATAM region games like FC5, block city wars, Nova L.E.G.A.C.Y, call of duty mexican ops and more I think it will be the last time I buy something from Sony
@@user-gn8lz6bm4b no it wasn't hard for me, though it's annoying how there's multiple servers with like 5 people on each side when really they should fill servers as much as possible. I did get a few games of about 10v8 or 8v8. This was on xbox btw on PS3 there were less people.
Awesome game but not a lot of people dare to play without a plane or tank cuz I was playing like 10 Mins ago and there was 4 planes and 3 tanks and 1 sniper
