I haven't noticed if they've done it before but I noticed yesterday that they put up BF3 tank superiority in portal and it jumped right on that. That was my absolute favorite mode ever. After rocking a couple matches in went into hosting servers with tank superiority because I couldnt find others other than the tab in the menu. Found out that you can outright just create a server for it whenever you want which made me really happy. Even if its just against bots, I love that I can play that mode again. (Granted that was probably there from the beginning or for a while now but I just never tried hosting a server so I never knew). I know 2042 has its issues but honestly, I really really like it!

I love how you begin every 2042 video with a "shut up Mcakay" On an unrelated note, why can't they also just give us the option to play as generic soldiers? Like just give us the option to play as faceless soldiers who have watered-down gadgets and not force us to play as these cringey character types, like Mackay.

Played it just now, look like this is the state of the game that would have been acceptable for release. New map is 8/10 for sure. im enjoying the game even .

Haven't played since before Season1 released and I have to say it is way better than back in the day. It is obvious the game is far from perfect and should have had at least one more year of development than it got but we're getting there. It is also good how we as a community aren't being totally ignored and our feedback is listened to (Map reworks, content, specialist overhaul coming). Is it too late? Probably, but at least we aren't being totally ignored like Activision does with sbmm, the minimap, the perks etc. 2042 will most likely never be as good Bf3 or Bf4 but at least it is beginning to be worth the money I paid for it back then as I have to admit, the game is pretty fun...

The problem with shooting the tank is that when he charges the shot you can't really aim really fast so you basically still need to lead a bit. Nordvik was an agriculture company and designed/build heavy machinery for that. After Europe collapsed they decided to help in the war to supports agricultural and technical industries. Now they are building an Weapon ( Zain said its not a weapon ) for "OZ" ( the Villain Zain is working for ). Also Zains legs got amputated cuz he was saving a civilian from a collapsing tower and got fitted with state-of-the-art prosthetic for both legs.

New map is chaotic and I love it. They really improved the game since launch, hated it at first, but now can't get enough of it. BF is back.

That looks like a map designed in Minecraft. Just one big ass box building… so futuristic.

The automatic rail gun mode is a precursor to the rail fmg from the old battlefield 2142 The same with the new tank which makes perfect sense because this 2042 is a FULL PREQUEL to the old battlefield 2142 game

The roofs of those two block buildings are perfect helicopter safe ones. They land there, heal and then attack endlessly.

The problem of BF 2042 was never the bugs, but it was the gameplay itself.

It's fun, finding consistent matches can be pain tho. at least in my region i have it often enough that we only have 10-20 players in the lobby. once the match is full tho it's a good time. as good as prior battlefields anyway, with all the same anger inducing moments. like the shotgun metan't and bullet dropoff for snipers now being even harder to see. plus the minor but still imo important element of adding mnk support for console, since cross play is a thing so might as well give everyone the same-ish options.

I actually only just bought the game yesterday as it got below €20, my first impressions so far are that I like the general feel and combat in the game. What I don't like is the huge complicity in editing your loadouts. Also I wish there was a form of artillery as there are lots of ways to spot enemies out on their positions but it feels kind of hard for me to kill them without being a sniper. If any experienced players read this and have any tips for me, let me know.

Just downloaded today around 7 hours ago before this video came out, quite literally played almost the entire time. So fun, randomly got good.

It started improving just before S1 and steadily better since. This new map may actually end up being a classic. The coloring looks similar to Giants of Karelia.

2042 was kind of like Battlefront 2 it started off terrible but it's slowly turning itself into the amazing game it should be

When I tried vault weapons, like ak-74, acw-r and others, at first I thought they were shit, but apparently they're pretty good, depends on your playstyle. From pre-season gameplays railgun seemed op, but when I got one in my hands, damn, it's hard to manage, auto mode has bullets just for one person, charge up at the beginning and big recoil, and single shot (sniper) mode is decent, you should sit deep in cover or have high ground to be able to shoot properly and it's not where you aimed and clicked to kill, you hold the button and then aim, it's kinda hard imo, but it's very fun

now that they’re grouping specialists into classes now, i hope they’ll add a playable generic soldier into the game

bad days for a heli pilot. you constantly have to avoid liz rockets, stingers, air defence, anti air GRENADES and getting one shotted by tanks from time to time. now there is another tank that makes one shotting helis even easier for noobs. All you can do is deploy flares and hope you dont get targeted by 10 other rockets while going for cover (i am not taking about stealth heli)
