Bro bf4 and bf3 was kind of flawless on ps3/xb360 compared to this. Bf4 was more buggy but atleast optimized for last gen. I also remember when I migrated from ps3 to ps4, was day and night.

you have to add that BF2042 is very poorly optimized. Even on high end gaming pcs you have very bad performance compared to games with same or worse graphics

Same here with an SSD but no cooling fan, the textures mess up for like a second now when you load in a vehicle that's it. And the "delay" he's talking about is his potato aim

SSDs on PS4 Slims are useless since they only have SATA 2 ports, not SATA 3.

I play bf2042 on the one s and I have almost little to no delay issues, it's all graphical and frame skips🤷‍♂️

People praising this piece of garbage is proof that the franchise is absolutely dead. None of this should be acceptable, but people's blind love for the franchise prevents them from being rational and realizing how utterly bad the game is where basic updates are the best thing ever.

If you play it on the correct console it's not as bad. Playing last gen on a last gem console works much better

Honestly if they renewed the og BF2 for today's standards I think it would've been game of the year. That shit had so many things the current battlefront 2 lacks. Regardless they did a good job with battlefront 2 after they removed its pay to win aspect

Yes it the worst recoil ever in a bf game on ps4. I don't even think it's just a recoil problem because when I try to use the AK the fist shot recoil is impossible to control ill go from shooting above their head to shooting under there feet in the span of like 2 bullets it insane

I play ps4 and a lot of the time I’ll get out onto a map I can see straight through. Takes about 2 mins to sort itself out which is pretty bad. Tbh I enjoy finding a hardcore lobby and just slaying out it’s a lot more fun than core.

Nah it's nothing to do with that all my ps4 games run better on ps5 2042 is just dogshit uninstalled it a week after launch won't be back. Before anybody says battlefield is always buggy at release I know I've been playing it for years bf4 was buggy as hell for 6 months but I don't care about the bugs I expect that. The game design is terrible that's my issue no class specific weapons fortnite specialists to sell skins no real world factions just a horrible horrible mess of a game so I've moved to Chivalry 2 and it's great. Distinct classes and weapons fairly accessible with a high skill ceiling to work towards with fun objective play, it's really good fun would recommend 👍

Yeah the game isn't worth 60 bucks. It is playable tho and will probably get better over time. If you don't like it now just sit it out for like half a year and the game should be alright.

Even if I know why they do it, it still sucks for the player, because with a pregame lobby you know you're going to start every game from the beginning instead of joining late game. Also it's fun if u have the same lobby each time, you'd start to know each player by name

That's not the reason at all. The game should run Better on Better hardware. Textures not loading despite the SSD, mesh and polygons colliding, almost 1 second input lag: these are not hardware issues, rather optimization ones.

Same! I’m on One X and about to go to Series S but honestly I’ve not had really any issues since season 1 except for 1 spawn bug that hasn’t happened since even the gunplay seems pretty normal to me maybe we’re just the odd ones out based on the comments though 😂
