thats actually a really good example of why we are taught to leave an incapacitated teammate in the army as long as a firefight is still ongoing. you arent supposed to run out to help them because you will only increase the body count. instead their job is to administer self aid if they can, return fire if they can, or just wait for help

@@Marsh__ fingers crossed. It was my most anticipated game of the year so I dont want it to fail. The game itself feels like a massive disconnect from the franchise. I didnt really feel like I was playing a battlefield game. Everything felt completely different meanwhile I picked up bf5 and everything felt completely natural as a returning player you know what I mean?
@@OxuStudio I get you. I haven’t played but from what I’ve watched it doesn’t look too much like battlefield. Stuff like the sprint seems very disconnected.

I personally love the driving. It feels fun but the vehicles also have weight to them. The Polaris is especially fun even if it isn't super responsive and is slidy.
I can only imagine some of the sick stories that will come out of that Tornado. Like imagine being in a bunker and holding off a squad so they can't get down there and they get obliterated by the tornado. Sounds really cool to me.

Its really twitchy in the open cockpit jeep, you basically just have to flick the steering controls to not spin out on keyboard, but the pickup truck feels great

Double tapping has become a reflex for me after playing insurgency sandstorm. The amount of times the ai will drop straight to the ground after a potshot is honestly insane. Half the time I’m not sure if I hit them and they drop like a sack of rocks or if they just laid down
@@soggeedoggee1351 if only it were that easy. But when you got 4 guys gunning for you and 2 of them you aren’t sure you hit and killed or not; makes for really tense moments
@@chrishenderling9556 use high penetration guns like aug or akm so you can just shoot them thru walls, don't be scared of wasting ammo cause spraying hip fire at people rushing usually makes them stop and go for cover and might even get you a few lucky kills
As a fairly long time hardcore battlefield player I can confirm lol. Battlefield 5 was terrible with all the proning support players. The amount of braincells I must’ve lost from all those hours haha
Thinking about the kill at 13:02, it's probably one of the rarest kinds of kills to date; Dude killed an enemy with a rocket launcher's backblast, and the person killed was Charlie
Its not much better in battelfield bro lol. Only sniper that i have recollection of actually being designed to go long ranges was srr in bf4 pre nerfs.
@@Dynamo33 my only previous battlefield experience is bf4 and that had a ton of bullet drop. It's so weird playing the beta and the bullets are so fast and don't drop at all
Battlefield has always had insane bullet drop, when you play it you're conditioned to aim slightly higher than you would normally but guess they changed it for 2042
I'm actually having a ton of fun in the beta, despite the glitches and other shenanigans. Obviously a ton of stuff they need to fix. The snipers dont have range 0'ing or variable zooms and the high zoom scope doesnt have any intervals at all to measure range.
I think it's just weird that they doesn't support any features for black people or gay people. Like c'mon they even care about colorblind people in the game. EA should have a gay CEO rather than a straight one. Because straights=emotions. GO GAY! SUPPORT GAY LGBTQ :)
On console the "call to revive" is the right trigger, so I called to get revived spamming the trigger. I got revived but I kept spamming, ended up shooting the guy who revived me about 12 times in the face. Thats my experience with 2042's beta.
@Todez Playz I mean I could, I really wasn't expecting a revive, and was just spamming till I died or something. So I kept spamming, it hit me I was getting ACTUALLY REVIVED when my gun started to shoot his eyes out.
"Why won't it pull up?" Because you cut your engines and were traveling to slow. Also you jumping down on the guy with the AA-launcher and catching that rocket at 13:00 was pretty funny.
in his defence, flying a jet with a mouse is terrible because every time you want to pitch up or down you have to lift your mouse up and place it back down. it couldve been avoided with a controller or stick
It wasn't the engine he's on mnk he probably wasn't able to pull back hard enough with the mouse that jets engine is only showing the flame when the afterburner is on
@Pure I must thank you, the first game after binding space to pitch up (was actually pitch down in-game) I stayed in the jet the entire game without dying. Pro tip, good stuff
"I thought I was in a cutsceen" is the best thing that I have ever heard from a gamer! If I got a player confused with what is and isn't a cutsceen I would be thrilled!

@@oobynooby1 That describes my critique of the beta so far. The map is simultaneously great and ass at the same time. I feel if they took out the C flag part of the map and focused on the main launch area, it would flow so much better and be a lot more fun.
I’m not a big fan of the way reviving works. It was cooler when it is just press e and immediately start the animation. Even though it probably takes as long or maybe even longer, it just felt really smooth in BFV.
@@daniellaniganohara2456 That’s not how it worked in BF4… You can manual bring out the defib and manual charge them before running out and reviving instead of standing in one place waiting to get shot.

Eh, it's nothing new. The amount of Dreamcast games I played that were genuine hell was plentiful. Then again, I got games no one even heard of. Battlefield is supposed to be a triple A game. It seems like indie teams are becoming more passionate while triple A studios are getting lazier (probably cuz most triple A studios know their consumers are fine with settling with garbage. It's why those subpar WWE, Fifa, NBA, etc games exist and will keep on coming).

Dude I played for like 1 hour and I had a ridiculous amount of bugs but I'm playing on PC like Cr1tikal but it still was great fun you can't find anywhere I don't think Battlefield will never not be full of bugs with the sheer size of the matches
Series X player here, I played the beta for around 5 hours total and I had most of my fun using the helicopters. Guns don’t feel as good as they do in BF4 or even BF5 to me. Plus, every time I get shot and killed, it only looks like I got shot once yet die almost straight after from an AR. Not a big deal, just poor damage response, although it is annoying when I’m getting shot from a high up place and I’m not given a single clue as to where I’m being shot from. Another big issue I noticed was aerial vehicle damage, it’s severely bad when I can fire basically an entire barrage of missiles at ground troops grouped together and get no kills (I’m not a bad pilot either, been piloting since BF4 and I have good accuracy in the air). Overall, the beta wasn’t horrible, but I really hope it isn’t a sign of the final product. I didn’t have much fun during the beta overall sadly due to these issues.
@@completelyaverageviewer If you’ve played the betas from the previous games, you’ll know this crap never gets fixed by launch. BF games are always plagued with bugs and broken mechanics, there’s no way I’m picking this one up
Pretty disappointed in the levolution events. I had 2 games where the rocket exploded and I didn’t even notice. Another game where the tornado spawned, and didn’t even reach the map. I’m hoping that the other maps have more noticeable events, or more frequent events.

This game just does not look good. So fucking clunky and I really dont get what people are saying about the graphics being amazing they look cartoonish.
It just depends on what you're either watching it or playing it on. I mean it looks gorgeous on a 4k tv, but on a phone, or crappy computer, it's not gonna look as good
That melee stuff was the funniest gaming content I've seen in a long time Charlie was at his best here let's be honest no matter how disappointed I am, (currently downloading overnight for PS4 so it'll play significantly worse than this)
I don't think you need to bring out your knife to do takedowns. Previous Battlefield games let you do them by pressing the melee button behind the enemy even without the knife.
@@Puddspanker first this is dice we are talking about the same devs that made all previous battlefield games, at every launch there was some serious issues with them until they were patched, and plus the release is scheduled in one month, no way in hell they'll be able to patch out all the bugs in this small timeframe
@@vmannn4259 yeah, they said this beta was two months old so, assuming this statement is the truth, they probably already fixed something (they said they made big steps forward since then). I don't think this will be as bad as a BF4/BF V launch, but there'll be serious problems for sure. Overall i think it's a solid game, problem is that players are used to beta made more for marketing purposes (not real betas in the end, but more like the final product) than to actually test the game.
I don’t understand how people disliked the fact that this game was unrealistic and outlandish, as if it wasn’t the reason why people have fallen in love with the franchise. At the end of the day it’s a game and it’s all about having fun :).
I disliked the fù%%% fact that the space center in French Guyana is in the main land 100km from the sea and that there is a city with 50k inhabitants that they completely removed from existence next to it, and ffs why it's the american and not the French and the current best military unit in the world and Jungle fighting the French Foreign Legion since it's their training camp

You have 2020 vision? Congrats, but color blindness and deficiencies are a real thing and much more common than youd think. Faction based uniforms are a must. If that werent the case id be playing cods lame ass new game with “your team” and the “enemy team”
I hate that whole holding litterally any rifle one handed while sprinting trend that's in every fps game, its like ya ok dude, you're sprinting while holding an m249 light machine gun? Ok.
@@breadisred1 yah it looks like a game that should've come out in 2012 my dude. Literally less interesting than 2013's BF4. Beta means the game is complete and just being bug-tested and tweaked minorly. I like some of the new ads but most of it is watered down battlefield gameplay. Even recoil seems to be turned off now.
