Battlefield 2042 Season 2 Master of Arms gameplay and Impressions. Look at the new map, guns, specialist, vehicle, battle pass and more. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
I'm convinced all the base maps were made with Hazard Zone in mind and were adopted for regular BF after the fact that they realized a HZ only BF game would cause an outrage, hence why the dlc maps seem to be better
Bf5 movement would be cool on this map like you could climb up the container or while falling then grabbing on the ledges to pull yourself backup or roll while landing so you could minimize your fall damage.
If I’m not mistaken didn’t they say there would be some kind of movement change in season three with them implementing The class system back in the game ? Not sure if That’s what they’re going to do but it be nice if we got something close to that if they do update the movement system
The plants look like agave when it blooms. We have them here and they are pretty cool. They are also sometimes called century plants because they live a long time (25 years or so) and bloom so seldomly. They produce a 15-20 foot flower spike and then usually die. The ones in game look like they are at the tail end of blooming and dying off. If only such attention to detail made its way into gameplay lol
I get that the minigun turret would be op of you couldn't snipe the user but it looks so stupid to have a great big hole where your head is. Especially when the other parts are see though.
Man they need to take parts of these maps and turn them into 20v20 smaller modes, bf4 had some great small cqb focused modes; not everyone wants to play 2 modes that each last 20min, we need variety Dice
@@SchoologyGames I noticed they added that in the last patch, so if you are lucky you can catch this in a live game, I have one where a guy goes cartwheeling by me with the "Wilhelm" style scream, lol
They're gonna need a "specialist" cap. Whether or not the minigun is powerful, it just looks stupid when there's a crowd of these things in a firing line lmao
It already und stillooks horrendous when you play breakthrough on exposure and 15 falks or 265 sundances fly arround. Specialists are still a deal breaker for this game.
1:39 I think DICE didn't really thought this through how the gameplay would look like when more people use the same Specialist. IMO that's why Specialists doesn't make sense in this game
Like that the concussion only last a second or just over actually requires good placement and timing Most times you just throw and you have all the time in the world
Im a big fan of utilizing the LAV Recons to flank and provide support. The new vehicle has me HYPED. Map gives me a bit of Naval Strike DLC vibes from BF4. Not sure why.
Discarded is one of my favourite looking original 2042 maps, ignoring the main shipping area. Gives me some of those jungle/tropical vibes from BC2. The dried waterways remind of BC2 aswell. Would like more of these
I've been playing a lot more 2042 recently, and I must say, I'm enjoying it. This season is yet another step in the right direction. With the current progress and the update roadmap, my only remaining concerns are content. I hope that once they've finished with all their quality of life fixes, the content additions are ramped up, specifically maps.
I remember when battlefield weapons actually had some real recoil to them they weren’t just lasers that could be used at any distance. I think BF3 might have had my favorite gun mechanics 4 felt more tamed but it was still there
With enough people to complain, all the guns will be as accurate as laser shooters. Gotta cater for those very casual players who have no skill or control.
Awesome vid jack! Although i would want more maps, being given more weapons are a step in the right direction. Love a good close quarters map too, so seems like a good one😃
Battlefield have always had this unique position; more realistic than arcadey’ COD, but not milsim level realism like Squad. Now it feels like a COD-Fortnight hybrid. Problem is, COD or Fortnight players won’t play a Battlefield game, and Battlefield players want a Battlefield game.
@@N_T1 I mean no one’s holding a gun to your head forcing you to watch 2042 videos or play it lol so pathetic your still giving them your time if you feel so strongly lol
It's actually the default optic too. I'm surprised he didn't immediately recognize it. I wish they would enable a full auto mode for that gun. Cool little device. They could make it a slow full auto, fast burst fire like the AN-94... In fact that's exactly what I think was the concept behind this gun - a futuristic bullpup AN-94
For how cheap it is now there's no reason not to. The game is much more refined and can be very fun. Of course, not the best battlefield but I wouldn't let the negativety persuade you that much.
It’s a shame how long it took to get where it is. It should’ve been like this (not necessarily perfect but should’ve been much better) at launch. They pulled effort out of other games to let this one live and still didn’t have enough time to allow it to be all it was meant to be.
Battlefield 2042 is finally starting to come together and become a decent game, the player counts are going up and the devs are making good changes. I think all they need to do to save the game even more is just make the game either free to play or lower the price substantially.
it's fucking horrible. the new map is the worst by far. you constantly die by campers and snipers across all game modes. dont you dare say 2042 is making a come back or is much better now. it's not. the new map is by far the worst. this game is dead. the game is just awful top to bottom. I had hopes for a come back but no way.
I'm excited for this but as someone who's been playing 2042 almost everyday recently, it still has so many issues like paik wall hack spam constantly, AR and smgs can compete at sniper range, attack almost always wins in breakthrough. I can see Minigun and lmg spam fire being an issue on this map as well
Is 2042 on an improvement path similar to that of BF4? I'm kinda digging the updates. Looking forward to see how the class system plays. Great showcase Jack.
That's what this game is missing honestly. Guns feel too cheap. I get it's the future and that they'd try and minimize recoil as much as possible but eliminating it completely is a bit much
@@MrYc97 I was about to say lmao they obviously haven’t used any of the games in this guns without attachments because they most definitely have recoil lol
@@Toni-ic7ki to me, it looks like they’re trying to compete with COD and those type of more cartoony shooters (I still play those too), but their audience was always closer to milsim, hence the backlash towards this game and why the bf4 servers are still very active.
@@MooseTheMau yeah, because when they first released this game all maps are wide open with vehicle chaos everywhere..no one likes it. Now they released infantry focused map, more whining. You can't win this either way.
The maps are fine and all but its still far from what we used to have back in the day. Things destructive enviornments still aren't even a thing in this game even with all the "support" its been getting lately.
I was so glad when I saw the new map. I was like yes another ship/container map because discarded and manifest arnt already in the game. We defenitly needed a 3rd reskin ship map that all play the same.
Jumped into this game recently due to the news of them bringing the class system back. Actually really enjoying myself but could use some mates, send me a PM if you're on PC and wanna squad up!
Would y'all recommed getting into 2042, getting into BF5, or just waiting for the next game to come out? I play on PC, and I miss BF so much. Haven't played in years.
They need to put jets on a separate branch honestly all I see are helicopters now. Plus you can’t put jets and rotors together they are separate classifications
Season 2 is looking pretty good! I can’t wait to try out the new weapons! Not so excited about the specialist I feel like they could have done something way better with that but everything else looks sweet!
A lot of people are still hating on 2042. I personally think they have done a lot of improvements, and I have been really enjoying it. It is feeling like Battlefield again.
this looks kinda fun, once I build my pc, if this game is still discounted I might pick it up but man this video makes this map seem like a freefall simulator lmfao, so many people were ragdolling at random times b/c they fell 😂
This map seems like they took assets from the existing maps to make the new one. I don't understand why it takes so long to whack together a single map using mostly existing assets. I'm not saying they shouldn't do that I'm saying they should but if they're using that method to make new maps then why can't they make more!?
That moment right at 1:49, that is Battlefield right there and it's absolutely undeniable that 2042 excels in offering that sort of experience. Like something out of a movie, just another day on the field in Battlefield 2042. There's such a negativity around the game. The day that Battlefield games lose this kind of chaotic cinematic moments, is when it will be dead to me, regardless of whatever changes they decide to make. It's worth the recognition because no other franchise can offer you what you get here.
Yet again... this new map highlighting how awful the rest of the other maps in the game are. Where was this design process for launch? And knowing we're only going to get 2 more maps for the rest of this game's life cycle... what a tragedy
No matter what weapon u r using if there is no recoil, all looks the same like laser beam. Very poor gunplay, maybe can be little better on consoles but for PC it's like for kids. Awful game.
Yeah I can see whole squads on objectives at every angle using the mini gun, sentry, and shield! They will be nerfing this real quick after the fun has stopped and everyone complains!! 😊
in the glory bf4 times we used to get 4 maps and several guns in each dlc now its just one map per season and the number of weapons overall in 2042 is still far too less
