Sorry this was such a late upload, guys. RU-vid has been terrible recently for processing videos. They take ages to process and most of my uploads in the last 2 weeks have been stuck at 360p, so I have to re-render and upload them again which can take hours depending on length and file size. It's basically luck of the draw if they go to 1440P too at the moment. There's obviously a bug in the system, hopefully they can fix it soon. PEACE!
That's the thing: You start a BF3 game and you're sucked into the action almost imediately. The gun play, the squad action, the vehicle interaction all make such good sense. It's not perfect and there's some cheese and some abuse of mechanics but it's almost always fun. The newer BF games almost always feel like a damn chore after half an hour of game time which is a feeling made even worse because you almost couldn't care less about the progression system whereas you sometimes played a couple of hours in BF3 just to unlock certain guns and their attachments in BF3. I miss that feeling of losing myself in the game play.
Call me crazy but I still prefer the looks of BF3 over every other Battlefield! ... surely there are more details in the newer ones and RTX and whatever but the lighting and colours of BF3 are unbeatable in my opinion!
Thomas Schlüter funny because everyone was freaking out about the blue tint when Bf3 was in its prime. I was in the minority who preferred the colors as well
Yesterday I’ve decided to give BF3 a go. The game sucked me in for hours, there is just something in it, that the new titles miss, maybe the simplicity of movement and the feeling that you are fully in control... Today I’m watching Jacks’ video on BF3. Just like in 2013. What a great throwback!
Is the game working well for you guys? I picked it up again, but I can't find any good lobbies, they say they're full (50-60) but there's never more than 6 players in them...
IKR? So good. The only really negative thing about BF3 in 2019 is the netcode. You really feel the difference compared to BF4 for example. But still. Best Battlefield in my opinion.
Bf3 is fantastic. There is so much action and so much to do. There are a lot of cover to defense yourself from vehicle, the map design is awesome. I love this game. Miss those things in newer battlefield.
So when a guy doesn't play the newest but instead plays older title means nowadays that the game is boring. Sure, why not. Everybody has their believes.
@@Finnishmanni boi there are only 8 maps, a few game modes, content is poor. Not much to be entertained with, just have a few games with the older titles
@@alexshadel3617 In this case, it shows both. BF3 and BF4 were great, and the new so-called "Battlefields" since then are complete garbage and aren't even Battlefield.
Absolutely love the BF3 and BF4 vids Jack. So much fun and great memories. This is what made Battlefield one of the best first person shooters ever. All the changes they made to BF 1 and BF 5 and the near complete lack of vehicles have sadly turned me off the franchise. I'll come back though if they give the original Battlefield fans what they are used to and want to play rather Dice telling us how we should play and we supposedly need in the game. Ballocks to that. Thanks for the BF 3 gameplay and I so look forwards to more of them.
I really miss that map. I wish it was one of the maps that was remastered for bf4 that and grand bazar. I know they did bazar for bf h but that game dies way to fast.
Some of my best video games memories are on this map, i loved to aim for the helicopter pilot just like the famous human anti aircraft "Wovn", those were the days.
I honestly wish i could just send out a mass message to all BF players to drop the current game and go back to this...just like the game was new again...I was amazed by this game when it came out. It was amazing...the graphics...audio...gunplay...it really was ahead of its time in my opinion. I miss this game more than any past FPS game I have played.
Played a few rounds yesterday, doesn't feel dated at all. Super smooth on new hardware.. so it's even better than I remember 😁 the gunplay is so good in bf3/4 and Hardline.. so why did they change it? BF1 is good but it definitely wasn't as smooth.. bf5 just fucked it
How is suppression and random spread better? 1v1s were infuriating in BF3, especially with slow firing guns that required you to be accurate. BF5 thankfully got rid of all this. Only the netcode issues need to be fixed so that it feels a bit less random.
@CptSabby In BF5 support players can spot enemies by suppressing them. There you go. A very useful tactical use without punishing players who can actually aim without spraying and praying.
@CptSabby suppression in BF3 was a field force that protected noobs. If you are losing a gunfight you just spray in the direction of the enemy and he will not hit you because of the stupid ass spread
IF THEY JUST REMASTER BF3 IT WOULD BE JUST LIKE BF4 AND BF3 ALL OVER AGAIN. MAYBE THEY SHOULD MAKE WHOLE NEW MODERN ERA GAME INSTEAD JUST FULLY COPYING THE OLDER TITLE
I bought bf3 and bf4 a couple of days ago thank to jackfrags, and i dont know which is better, i will play them both for years to come. Get them, people, let a renaissance happen!
Battlefield, is the quintessential battlefield game. it is what the modern battlefield experience should like. the music, the animation when you launch dun dun dun dun etc. its immersion, you get thrown into a battlefield, jets flying by tanks battling buildings being destroyed, maps are huge. it is a battlefield.
@@HollyandArty it is my favorite too, we need a BF3 remaster without any changes only bug fixes that's all no more no less no balance sh!t, it has just the right combination of arcade and authenticity.
Damn right!! they should have just lowered the points you get for each revive and heals, kept the unlimited everything, and kept the soldiers acting like badasses. all of these restrictions ruin the game.
Hey jack, it's great you notice how well your bf3/4 videos do. I hope you understand this is what people want, not some fairytale WW2 oriented game. This game could have been marketed off like bf5 and it would still have sold phenomenally. BF5 is an absolute disgrace
@@ninodrhr yeah, but so were the AEK, KH2002, AN94 and so many other weapons. They were designed so well... I remember the times I would dunk on M16a3 medic squads with an F2000. Still love that gun to death
@@BuriedDutchman I loved the KH2002, it was so damn underrated... I started to get killed by a dude with that gun way too often and we all thought he was hacking, but I gave it a try and DAMN THAT GUN WAS SWEET!

I would do anything to have literally just this again. Maybe tune suppression down a smidge so it’s just visual, some CoD gunsmith weapon customization, BF1/BFV movement. Perfect game right there.
@@stephan455 yes very much so🍇 yeah I'm back on bf4 rn. I think 3 is a lil bit more fun because I forgot my battlelog info and started off fresh. All the unlocks make It more fun. Same with BF4, but I've already unlocked everything basically except' hard challenge weapon unlocks
@@caleston8010 probably people who played it on a console such as PS3 or 360 who have moved on to another system. Although, it is supported as a backwards compatible title like BC2 is on Xbox One.
bf4 had too many attachments and frostbite 3 will never be as good as 2 was. IF they remastered frostbite and called it "Frostbite 2.1" I'd buy it asap
@@seba8600 new title, new game. Same franchise, so it just needs to live up to player expectations. (Side note: No game could live up to what BF3 was.) How do you remaster 3 for next-gen? XBOX One actually has 3 to be backwards compatible, so you can still play it on One... unless you play PS4, then I suppose your luck has run out
Is it worth if I decide to buy battlefield 3 now?. I played this game many hours when it was released in ps3 and I wonder if there are enough players nowadays in pc
Spotting is unbalanced as shit dude. No attrition means you can dominate with the other classes never having to rely on a support teammate. Full regen just helps campers stay in power positions. I literally just called out these faults... BF3 is my favorite battlefield game. I’m not being biased I’m just being truthful when I say this. Battlefield V does it better 🤷♂️ You are relying on nostalgia and being biased towards BF3.
LiamUltraRacer lol what are you talking about. No one has a problem with females in Battlefield V. Just the inaccuracies which is understandable since it's set in a "historical" setting.
@@DRaz-di1in Was just more enjoyable, using the boats to sneak across the sea to storm the beach from a different angle. Was like a Metro grind feast pushing back and forth up the island. having to use different tactics to outflank the enemy. Just loved it and miss bf2 :(
