The Bots dont take damage its because the bot just got spawned or revived so for 5-7 Seconds they are invincible but after that they can die normally when being shot.
Not gonna lie, making a review/overview without a script and a spontaneous commentary is very hard, and right after I finished the recording, I noticed that my voice was terrible because I'm still not feeling well at the moment. Welp, enjoy.
Hi, nice video thanks! You say you're not a big fan of BF3 because of suppression and the blue tint. With Venice Unleashed you can easily get rid of those things. Literally 2 lines of simple code in the startup file and they're gone. Plus the bots are incredibly configurable once you learn what's what in the ai config files. You can set them up just how you want them, even down to which weapons they can use and how many of each class will appear in game. You can also configure weapon accuracy and damage. Definitely a great mod!
Where do I change all this? I'd love to know how to properly setup a 64 count sever with just bots without having to open up a UI every game to spawn bots.

From what I know, the devs are working on it. I don't think I will be covering on how to install but I will try if I have time to cover it again soon (no promises tho). And thanks for the compliment :)
This is gonna be perfect when Battlefield 3 and 4 gets delisted, if you're gonna discontinue a game, at least make it open sourced for mod support and AI bots similar to Unreal Tournament! It all prevents a delisted game from becoming dead.
Bots are really good now, 2 years later. The only thing i hate is if your driving ] a tank, switch to machine gun, a bot can jump in and start driving off with the tank. You have switch back to driver, that is annoying. It gets old fast.
That's great, I have a few questions; Can I set up a free server (I want to play singleplayer by myself) with Venice Unleashed? and can I configure the bots difficulty? make them very difficult?
Mod is installed and working great. Do the bots files stay up to date automatically? Like when you join the server, it searches to make sure the necessary files are present? Just want to make sure I'm staying up to date with the newest versions.
Thanks for the good overviev. I have a question tho. Are DLC maps supportet with this mod? I am thinking about buying it again for PC but should I buy Premium? I want the maps and guns but if they are not supprtet I have a problem. Are the DLC things (guns, gadgets, etc) also unlocked when you buy them and use them in VU? The base stuff is but DLC? Because I don't want to unlock them again. Thx in advance.
Yes, you can play with the bots on all DLC maps. From what I know, all guns and gadgets (from the DLC) are already unlocked by default for Venice Unleashed. So no, you don't have to unlock them again, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry for the very late response, real life matters ~
Well... im not a programmer, im not a modder... But my way to think is: do everything perfect, or do nothing. There are several game mods all there, lots of them better than the original games, but ill be honest: i will not clap my hands to a mediocre work as i can see in mod forums like moddb. The bf3 bot mod experience can reach someday a real multiplayer experience, but its too far now. In just a few seconds what i saw was bots in war, acting like "ducks" in a shooting range park. They dont protect thenselves, they dont offer any kind of challenge at all. Even the bad CoD WaW pezbots are better. in almost twenty years of gaming i saw modders do fantastic works, but all of them, ALL OF THEM never managed to set a multiplayer -like bot behavior perfectly. On the contrary, sometimes they take bots that act perfectly well in vanila games, and turn them into real shit, like what happens with bots in company of heroes for example, which has fantastic mods, but with mediocre bots behaviors compared to game original bots behavior.
you have to go into the user config file in the mod files and scroll down and enable the f12 menu for everyone on the server, but make sure your server is private or has a password on it. Also make sure you setup and installed the mod correctly.

try to reduce the number of bots that you have, usually its because of the graphic settings too, but yeah you run your own server through your PC or you can rent a server
Well, it doesn't have any lags, its just make the game feels "rubber band-ery" if that's even a word haha. The rubber banding is terrible when you have 60+ bots. Maybe you can have a better experience with a very high end PC, but I have a good PC and still feel the rubber banding.
@@ruggerorandisi7785 it seems the morw bots you have, the lower server refresh rate you need ( 120Hz, 60Hz, 30Hz ). I use 47 bots on local server with 60Hz and it runs smooth, with minor exceptions once, or twice at most, per game
