I agree it's a awesome feeling They should do more stuff like this. Just sow thing little that goes a long ways. I wouldn't mind a longer loading screen if there's better graphics and I can hear thus while it's loading
I am a chinese battlefield player, I want to say this theme is very "china", using chinese traditional instrument, like GuZheng, Pipa. in some ancient chinese songs, GuZheng and Pipa mean "wars" and "kills".
@@MyUnoriginalUsername in fact i think this music is a little ...hongkong and mongolian style ...even use the traditional instrument , but not much standard.
I hate to admit it but I grew up on cod. I tried battlefield 5 out and was amazed with all that was going on in the game. I know it's not the most "liked" game of the franchise but as a guy who played cod for most of his life and when finally playing on a huge map that was objective based was literally the best thing that happened to me when It comes to gaming. I ended up getting battlefield 4 and this theme is by far my favorite. I just want to say I'm happy to finally be part of a community like this. Ill always love cod but battlefield built different Edit: I'm ready for battlefield 6
''Ancient legends of this ''fairyland on earth'' tell of a yellow dragon that helped a king channel flood waters into the sea. Currently, American forces are converging upon this idyllic valley to secure a foothold in the Minshan mountain range....''
@@Markov092 Don't worry it's just another American Psych-Op or some Southern piece of shit that don't know their place in society. War is hell, and these fools don't understand that until they get the draft.
@Dominic Scalia I was never enlisted. Nor did I ever mention I was. In fact you just shot yourself in the foot with that statement. And sure, I was a bit harsh throwing Southerns under the bus, but from what I've encountered and seen a majority of these war pig apes come from there.
Holy fuck mate. I sat down to play some bf4, and I got ready to play some dragon valley for the first time. But what I was not ready for was to hear such a badass fucking song at the loading screen. All those other maps only have generic tunes that loop quietly in the backround but this pumps me up and makes me excited to play. Damn they did a good job on this one.
+Sir Gus the Mighty You want to hear this one too: soundcloud.com/theradgamerdan/battlefield-4-dragon-valley-bf2-theme-song-1 The ending gives deep chills. BF2 was the best.
This brings back all my good memories of Battlefield 2. It's the game that got me into the series, and I am so glad that DICE still remembers the days when the game was just a community and nothing more. I have seen the game grow so big now and this song makes me so proud to be a part of Battlefield for so long.

+Turok Makto Amen brother. I remember launch day of BF1942. This shit was revolutionary back then, and now the series sits on a grand throne, and I pray DICE keeps it there. As is my custom when wishing well to fellow BF veterans, see you on the killing fields.
+Turok Makto Hearing this theme brings back memories for me, too and I've played BF2 since 2006. I was a Staff Sergeant at that time and that's why I have the Staff Sergeant rank as my emblem, in honor of BF2. I love BF2 and always will. I'm also very proud to be a part of Battlefield for so long, too. Well, see you on the battlefield, soldier!
Modern feel of the recent Battlefields while at the same time preserving the epicness of the classic themes, that's how you do it! This is infinite times better than majority of the tracks in BF3-BF4!
The middle part was changed slightly to make it sound a bit more like the rest of the BF4 soundtrack; the original BF2 track had a traditional oriental string segment building up to the "Battlefield Theme" while the BF4 version has a more generic orchestral rise reminiscent. The opening part however, I believe is ripped straight from the BF2 sound files, every beat and string sounds exactly the same as the original theme.
I didnt know this until I discovered Battlefield 2 revive project... then when I played Battlefield 4 after and heard the Dragon Valley 2015 theme... i was like, "HOLY CRAP DUDE IT'S THE SAME AS FROM BATTLEFIELD2!!!"
its the same bf2 and its the same if you load maps where China is your enemy you can hear full soundtrack if you dont join you need to wait for that 2 min
DICE missed a massive opportunity when they didnt put this as an end of round theme to the Dragon Valley map. They shouldve infact recreated all map loading themes to EOR themes. Couldve been so good
@@bzchii7474 there are a few who sound like EOR candidates, like Orbital, Hourglass, Irreversible etc ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZkwlCv3P3pI.html here's a link to it. The soundtrack is done by the same person who did the soundtrack for Joker 2019 and HBO Chernobyl
You will never be able to appreciate how many Chinese Battlefield fans listened to it in tears when this music first appeared in Battlefield 4. Hope that Battlefield 2042 can also join this Chinese battlefield player's spiritual belief music.
I"m gonna chime in here as well. So many work nights that I'd have an hour or two to dedicate playing on Dragon Valley. I never got tired of it, I have such amazing memories of BF4 because of it. This map and its loading theme are works of art in themselves.
A friend's dad had BF2 and I sometime played it when I was like 6 and this music played on a map I couldn't remember well, a buncha years later I bought the legacy operations dlc and when I heard this, some heavy friggin nostalgia hit me hard
