Aleksandar Ninković the game is just fucking shit, not being historically accurate is one thing. This argument “it’s only a game doesn’t need xyz” is so dumb. Don’t make a WW2 game if you’re literally gonna skip everything about WW2 including the soldiers uniforms that look like something from a mad max movie. Besides the main downside was the fact that half the shit was missing on release date. Like half the content of the game. Unacceptable. Ps games can be fun and historically accurate at the same time.

@@don_p7546 No he means when it fires. It isn't a semi automatic. It's a single shot weapon. The bullet is fired, but the casing remains in the chamber. That's why you need the rod to extract it.

Pretty fantastic, the 12 Gauge Semi-Automatic, which I believe to be the Remington model 11, includes the detail that the elevator won’t move unless the bolt release is depressed. A lot of attention to details

Wow, I just noticed there's a subtle difference between firing sounds when aiming down your sights vs firing from the hip. This used to be present in Medal of Honor games that DICE assisted production of but this is the first time I've noticed it in an actual BF title.

The SwiftyEmpire I think the main gripe people have with this is that there are many guns from BF1 yet many iconic weapons like the Garand, PPsH, BAR, and Type 100 aren’t in it. Yes, the game’s content is currently before 1942, but that excuse falls apart when the StG-44 is in it... that gun is from 1944. When stuff people want isn’t yet available, the presence of guns from the last game makes people think they were lazy or rushed. Maybe they were, maybe they weren’t, but this is what people will theorize.

@@joaopaulogalloclaudino9671 Well no, stubburn US officers still thought that automatics were shit and carried a Colt M1917 revolver. Plus the British never adopted a semi automatic in large scale untill the 50' (late 40') with the Browning Hi-Power, they tried in WWI with the Webley&Scott M1913 but suprise surprise the British ordenace department is just as dumb as the US one.

I remember seeing a Bren at a gun show a couple years ago. There is no way in hell you could shoulder fire one of those, I could only hold it to my shoulder for a few seconds.
