2019 marked the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Battlefield Line, and to celebrate, the line put on a steam gala with an all western line up. The main guest was recently returned to steam BR(W) Modified Hall No 6989 'Wightwick Hall' from the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, making its first trip to another heritage railway. The weather during the day was a mix of sun and cloud.
