I think the real strength of defense platform is that it gives you two control points from the beginning, which creates a huge time pressure for your enemy to catch up with point before losing.

You said that the ships in your fleet has the wrong colours. But I disagree, your fleet is a Gothic Sector fleet not a Cadia fleet so all the ships in the fleet will have Gothic colours.

24:10 - Well, technically Adm. Spire is from Battlefleet Gothic. So maybe not a complete error? BF Cadia did send reinforcements to the Gothic Sector during the last Black Crusade, too. Maybe the ships under Spire's Command are actual BF Gothic vassals dispatched as support for the Cadian Sector! PS: the only picture i could find from a BF Cadia vassal shows a black hull with golden prow.

Battlefleet Gothic did involve itself in the Cadian System during the 13th Black Crusade. It returned to aid the Sectors that surrounded the Cadian Gate during the 13th Black Crusade. When Lord Admiral Spire returned, he insisted on avenging Cadia because as we all say *CADIA BROKE BEFORE THE GUARDS DID!* *THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!*

Few moments in an rts have felt as good as following up a torpedo run with a full speed ram, leading into a boarding action and broadsides. Can't wait to see the full campaign. The jump in quality between the two games was unexpected and this may go on to be one of my favorite WH titles.

It's really worth capturing the points, not just to prevent them winning by victory points but it will force them to break up their fleet so you can pick em off at your leisure, preserving your fleet for future engagements.

Is it just me or did the AI get dumber since the first game? In BFGA1 the AI tried to avoid AoE abilities rather then going straight into them or standing still, it had some sence of cohesive battleplan rather than splitting and rushing to score control points. And all those other minor things like targeting, moving and so on.

I think you are rigth when i see EE playing the first one the AI is pretty competent and there is no one that play the first one that didnt at least loose one battle, not only it avoid AoE but it try to avoid raming and do raming itself. But to be hoenst it happen when you put stratigic things the AI only care those ones, so i wouldnt be surprise remember rome 2 total war, the AI only care the flags

all mechanicus cruisers have nova canons - thats their big appeal - that they all come uniform with a nova canon, regardless of which side armament. also ya want to get that system top left from cadia next. it has a hive world with high income.

They also have a spinal mounted lance turret over the IN pattern cruisers, giving them slightly more firepower, and making them almost pocket-battle cruisers in terms of armament.

@@adambennett3709 but they lack armour on side AND prow - have no ram spur and they r also very, very slow and not as maneuverable then the others - even tho they r supposed to have the best tech in them - so this is a bit silly actually....

Ad mech are a mess in this game, they lose the upgrades, better leadership and torps. All their ships could have them which was great. They were one of he best shotgun ships in the game.

I see you don't really like taking points. But you can use them to break off there ships. Split there fleet so thay you can pick them off instead of them being clumped. Also torpedoes at the start is a waste as your lucky to hit one. Wait till there closer. Get some more damage output. Love the ramming manoeuvres and also taking out the turrets very clever.

At 29:51 i see that you was confused for a sec so what i can tell is you can use each ability 3 time except the command one where you can only use one at a time then it recharges how can you tell is the 3 bars under the ability if you see them your limited to 3 charges if you see 1 but more ability you can only use 1 ability at a time and if you see non but it's still glowing blue you can use indefinably.

Ok, the Nova Cannon is just broken. XD Last game, it wasn't as reliable considering its inaccuracy. Now, it's stupid accurate with the same kind of damage. Well, considering this is the beta, it's likely nerfed, but still.

I know this sounds weird but I want a warhammer game that includes the entire planters invasion process, from taking control of space, the sky, the sea and the land. I want to be able to fully organize a planters invasion and control the major battle. How cool would that be!

The in battle point limit should be removed. Fleet captains don’t come to a battle and say sorry admiral you have to many ships. Good luck though

The alternative is to have ships disobey yoyr orders as your not skilled and respected enough to hold them all under your grip. I know which more people would complain about.

Well this game is newer, has a lot more players, more factions and subfactions and is going to be suported and updated for a long time so yeah start with this one its better in most ways than the first one

I'AM GOING TO GO BONKERS!! WHERE IS THE FUC*ING "FAST REPAIR" BUTTON??? I want to pay money to repair my ships but I see no such options when I: "CLICK ON FLEET ------> DAMAGED SHIP" ALL I see is useless stats like scuttling my ship for 25% some "guard" option (like what the fuck does that even mean). Someone help me find this button please. Although I think it doesn't exist anyways...
