Even I, the guy who place the tau at one of the race I would never want to see "win" 40k, have a boner with this voice. This not a normal tau, this is SINDREEEH's son
@@gudboah4688 You're right, communism targets to demolish ranks in the society and just make everyone the same. Meanwhile T'au have caste system which basically ranks individuals to different parts also they all are controlled by the ethereals. I don't know why people still call them communist. The most communist 40k faction is Eldar's probably, and even they are not really communist.

Given how close they are to the eye of terror and how much interstellar communication relies on the warp it's a high chance khornes watching the fight like a livestream
Those last few seconds are fantastic! He calls out for "Auxiliaries" and you expect to see Kroot Warspheres appear right in the middle and lay waste to them, but instead it's the freaking Space Dwarfs! Never would have guessed they'd appear, not ever.
And now you know they aren't really auxiliaries... just Space Dorfs made in clone vats and their AI buddies collecting everything for Daddy Votann so they can get a hug in the after live.
Is it just me or is the coolest part of the tau are their client/allied/mercenary species like the demiurg, kroot, Tarellians, and of course the gue'vesa.
That's honestly why I play Tau. I wish they would show some love for the auxiliaries. I want to field some Morralian Deathsworn and Ranghon Tree people with Kroot warriors.
Honestly, the Tau alien auxilaries are like a gold mine that developers simply refuse to take advantage of. According to the lore before the Tau made contract with any of the other major powers (meaning that the Kroot and Gue'vesa were not a thing yet) they had 19 sentient species working for them and thuss far we've only seen like 6 of them.
@@_NIKOS9_NIKOS sadly "seen" stretches it a bit. If we go by what is available on the TT game we have 3-4 Kroot variants and one unit of Vespids. Plus a variant of Demiurg and Kroot ships for Battlefield Gothic. Given how important the auxilaries supposedly are and how many interesting species are mentioned in the fluff, they are heavily underutilized in Tau armies, both on the TT and extended media

In a sane world, the Imperium, tau and craftworld eldar would have ceased hostilities with one another the moment cadia fell and the warp is now expanding unchecked across the galaxy. However this is 40k where everything always has to be shit, noone but the imperium and chaos is allowed to win and even though they should be a very kick ass faction, the eldar are a joke and loose all the damn time (fucking deathwatch should not have beaten eldrad and abunch of aspect warriors and harlequins so easily) and the tau are less of but still a joke aswell.
And deny humanities place as rulers of the Galaxy? The only one who can defeat Chaos is the Emperor and his sons are returning to the fight. The Eldar have firgure out that this is the only wya and have begun to "help" but they cannot be trusted. They will do nything to manipulate fate to their favor. The tau are also naive and creating a chaos god by converting alien races like humans to the greater good. It is why only faith in the emperor can save the galaxy. Better to beilive in a false god then to breed a pantheon of new enemies.
JustinWarhammer Yes, but theyre acknowledged as different things. :L Squats are just a human adaptation to a planet, the demiurge are full on dwarves. SPAHCE DWARVES! *SPAHCE MAHREENS!* THE ENEMY *IS AT OUHR DOHR!*
The Tau could probably stand toe to toe with the Imperium if it didn't have its vast numerical superiority. In terms of technology the Tau are probably more advanced and a Tau soldier in a XV8 battlesuit could handle a Space Marine. Also the Tau actually develop technology and improve it, having a caste dedicated to that. The Imperium has been doing nothing but preserving what they could salvage from the Age of Technology and even then more and more systems are failing due to no one being alive to do the maintainance. The Golden Throne and the Imperial Fist's Phalanx are two examples.
Emperor: i can not associate myself with such creatures! if they wish to join a conjoined imperium they better bring some fucking chain katanas or something
"Your homeworld had a population of how many?"- Tau Water caste envoy talking to Lt Cage of the Last Chancers. The average imperial hive world has more humans on it than there are Tau in the whole galaxy. I get they're a great way to get the Anime types in but really they should be a footnote not a faction. Its hard to take them seriously when it is clear the only thing sparing them extinction is lack of proper paperwork on the Imperium's part.
Not Alpharius Chapter Masters die all the time even first founding ones. That he embarrassed himself by being beaten by savages may have got a chuckle from the Chartist Captains if it even got to the Senate.
They defeated an entire Imperial crusade. The only reason why the crusades forces were not totally destroyed was because the Tau allowed the Imperium to retreat. THAT is why they should be taken seriously.
Tau are actually also one of the few groups the Imperium will ally with when need be, I.E. in Fire Warrior when the Marines gave the Tau the chance to leave a chaos-tainted world before they did Exterminatus on it.
Lol, so many Custodian Battleships in this. And Manta bombers get no spotlight =/ And then, all custodians explode to some macro batteries. Actual gameplay needs bigger fleets so you can really call it "armada"
So far with tau its more like 2 cruisers, 12 escorts. Oh gawd missiles everywhere. and abunch of crying elder. "THEYRE MISSILES TRACK ;____; WE CANT BEAT THIS." *"NO ONE CAN!"*
Dont be silly. The entire point of battlefleet ghotic is to emulate the precise commanding of spaceships. It's already a pain in the ass to command 4 ships a the same time, so an actual aramada? Litteraly unplayable.
Tyranid ships are (Canonically) weak though due to no armor, and the largest are only so many kilometres long beyond major story ships. so eh. *TIME FOR A SWARM FACTION EH?*
Scuba Steve Its kind of the tyranids thing, Fuck armpr, shit wastes biomass, you could have 1 heavily armored gaunt, or A THOUSAAAAAAA *AAAAND* Gaunts, (three actually but eh.). and to them its more efficient to the hivemind to just have more soldiers firing at the same time than a single slightly better individual, Their thing is that they do a fuck ton of damage to make up for it, but usually have short range (but not on their ships). although to be fair, their the only faction in this I can think of with melee ranged ships. (canonically atleast.).
Nicar? Googled it. I do not play the tabletop only the Wh: Dark Crusade back then. Looking foward to all that. Guess Kroot will be some kind of boarding crew, will they?
Thank you so much to the Developers and the Publisher for making this free to the community. I never would have expected or asked for more free content, but you did it anyways, and it shows you guys have high standards, and support your customers. So Cheers to you!
Demiurg lines just remembered me why I love Greater Good that much. One and only 40K faction with so many different races that are surprising you everyday.
Commissar_Dan You should probably get a smart pistol, if you Imperials have one somewhere. They are great and I have been able to kill many Tau, Orks, and the Ruinous power's worshippers with just that. It never misses.
When i saw: "Damocles gulf", once again i was not disappointed. You guys really know and love your lore. Now is the time you relieve Relic of their command of Dow 3 and make the game yourself ! Please ?
It would be the squats to come in and say HEY, im about to fuck up your day. 1:28-1:35 Also they should increase the base on the beam, make it sound cooler.
"And as I see the sea of stars, I wonder, what will come after us? When we became but dust in the solar winds, what species will rise vibrant and dynamic, watching this very same infinity, dreaming of progress and conquest?"
Well when the tau say... "We can be allies, but you must serve the Greater Good and not the Emperor." to Space Marines.... That's how you don't have an alliance.
The tau have no counter against chaos, during the War of the Beast M32, the Eldar wanted to form an alliance with the imperium to fight off the forces of chaos.
A large Tau fleet bump a small Imperial Navy trade squadron, get off the first shots and still get hammered to the point they have to call in the auxiliaries.
so now comes the big question, what was this last faction BFA did hint at in the future, necrons? tyranids? dark eldar? my bet is on tyranids or dark eldar. tyranids have space combat unit,s all be it weird to implement because of shadow in the warp and stuff. dark eldar are easy to put in but would not necessarily make the best faction to add, unless they go super lore nerd on it and allow mechanics like raiding slaves on boarding actions and stuff. necorns is least likely because of the lack of diffident space faring units, and the lack of space fairing necrons in lore(they do space travel just that its uncommon in the 41 millennium fore good reasons) there is probably other factions that escapes my mind right now but if anyone can come up with other possible faction please just leave it in a comment.
Voron Vornoroff the craftworld eldar are technically in the game already and the adaptus machanicus are also technically already in the game, all be it without unique ships.
The Dark Eldar have exactly two ships. An escort and a cruiser. They have a much worse chance of being added than the Necrons, in fact, word on the official forum hints at the Crons being next, nids after them.
I wish you would have added a tau campaign to the game. I would have prefered them over Necrons and Tyranids by a lot.. because playing Tau is actually fun.
The Tau have no honour and I have no respect for the race that doesn't have the fucking decency to fight you in Melee combat. Which is the most honourable form of combat, how the fuck can they claim to be " ouu so honourabrruuu " when they won't even pick up sharpened piece of fucking metal to shank you with..... I watch too much of that guy, this came to my mind at first :D
You know it makes sense that the tau have ships but I never thought they had ships for some reason. Every other faction I knew had ships but not the tau
Our conquest is inevitable, our ascension a matter of time. Let none who are wise deny our destiny. Gue'la, you still have a chance, join the Greater Good or perish as a mere slave to a meat-puppet on a golden chair.
You really think your greater good will oppose the destiny of the undying legions of the Necrontyr to reclaim what was once ours so many millions of years ago? You are a disease, a parasite on the galaxy; we will provide the iron fist of order and quash your anarchic notions of freedom so that all may be right in the eye of our eldest of kinds.
Barcod Noh If they add Necrons, it's going to be nowhere near lore accurate and nerfed to hell. A single Necron Tombship can take on multiple Imperial Battleships in official lore and win. They shrug off direct Nova cannon impacts with barely any cosmetic damage.
it would have to be insane price costs, since the reasons theres no matchmaking system based on fleet level due to the actual universe being and I quote 'unfair', that tells me they will be their realistic OP selves
The ironic thing is that Tau fleet is not really that advanced in lore. They do have trouble in manufacturing bigger ships and all fleets are rocking far bigger ships with far bigger shields. Not only that, they do have insane mobility advantage over Tau which they will never remedy. Armor is also something that Tau will never get and they will be non nomed to death by tyranids or bashed open by the Orks. Tau is short sighted, young, over bold and foolish race. They are bitting more than they can handle and they did refused to stop and think, to reflect back then humanity almost wiped them out in Democles crusade. This is ought to be their undoing if new lore will be any good.
Well, they do advance technologically at rapid phase in a similar fashion as humanity, but lately their tech started to stagnate. Tau's lifespans are simply too short to achieve much more and this shows now. In addition, most of its technology was traded of copied. Starship technology comes from copying Imperium ship. Ion cannons comes from getting them from more advanced races via trade and etc. etc. Even orks are more technologically sophisticated in many areas still. Like their more powerful shielding technology or teleportation technology which Tau will never master. Why? Because they refuse to embrace warp.
they dont refuse to embrace the warp, it is impossible for them to do so due to their biologocal limitations. They are blunt, which means that cant have no psykers. But they are not so badly affected by chaos though.
Indeed, but I had meant that they refuse to embrace the truth. That all the tells about hell and crazy magickal stores are true. This is why they will never understand the world and this is why Tau will never have truly advanced technologies or real artifacts of great power. Not if lore is any good at that point. Tau had refused to ressearch warp further and they do not utilize esoteric means of their allies to travel. Tau becoming arrogant as a young race matures, but for the Tau, they are getting arrogant then they can least afford it.
Anzu Wyliei Ironically, necrons technology were not created by them, but granted by Gods. Necrons and the Old ones are perfect examples that would happen if Imperium and Tau would fight in all out war. No matter how much more advanced and Tau would be, humanity would easy prevail against it in the long run due to some immense strengths like divination, teleportation and so on and on and on.
The Necrontyr also had short lives; they developed godlike technology on par with the Old Ones; just on a completely different technological path. Though they did need the C'tan to help them out with the FTL thing. But everything else was developed by them. The Gauss flayers, living metal, the cryptek's science; all of it was made by the labor of the Necrontyr, not the C'tan. All the C'tan gave them were living metal bodies (which they could develop on their own, it's just that the C'tan proposed transferring into them) and inertialess drives and the dolmen gates.
It would just be nice to say have afight with up to 3 super heavy ships and a plethora of lesser ships. I mean just one balls to the wall battle mode in which I can do some real damage. Plus an option to play a campaign that is not all centred on the Imperials.
Commissar_Dan I agree, now they'll sit in obscurity until chaos or orks fuck the imperium into a bunch of disconnected warring states and then rise from the ashes as the IMPERIUM OF TAU-MAN-KROOT-XENO. It's quite deliciously heretical.
To quote Farsight Enclaves Codex Supplement". Farsight prepares for the biggest battle yet. Let the gue'la dwell in their corrupted state of slavery. The Tau shall liberate them soon.
Probably never (except few worlds on Damocles gulf and if lucky UltraSmurfs lands). They are incapable using full warp technology, like Imperium, even more Eldar webway, because of their lack of psykers and warp sensitivity. Necron tech is way ahead of them. They have really hard time logistically, lucky for them IoM is strecthed thin, Chaos does not care, Eldar interfering, but not have vendetta on them, Necrons going their own way anyway. Probably best chance is absorbing humanity in their alliance and using their warp tech with navigators. Thought without cooperation from Adeptus Mechanicus it is doubtful. Also they might be to late anyway, Galaxy is going to shit with or without them anyway.
Error Error Unlucky for them, they have no time as necrons have had. They are having even less time than humanity had during their Dark(Golden) age of technology, before it ended by men of Iron, Psykers menace and Eldar Downfall.
Indeed they are. As humans were once. After humanity downfall they might found in similar situation as human civilisation was after eldar one. Minus Warp problems, psykerhell. Plus hungry NOM NOMers, ancient necron horrors, ork Waghs, chaos spawns (hold by Imperium at bay) at their doorstep.Hope they have their own Emperor at their side to endure, Ethereals might not be enough.
