VR is the only way to play space dog fighting games. Flat screen gaming does certain genres really well but VR takes space combat hands down. Amazing demo.
+scott crockett Yeah, there's genuine awe when that happens. Probably the same "woahhh" moviegoers felt when watching that Star Destroyer in the original film's opening scene.
Why leave so soon? Hang out around the Star Destroyer at the end and battle TIEs as long as you can. They get more and more aggressive and accurate...get's very challenging. Stay under the SD's belly, away from the cannons and see how long you can last against the TIEs.
This truly needs to become a full game. Epic looking graphics and super fun looking gameplay. I also love the feel of being in a different part of Rouge One. It could make an interesting side story.
this was cool when comming this mission in this style without VR technology for PC . I think with the Mouse its very easy looking around in the x wing and with the Keyboard fly forward and left and right
+scott crockett It's short, but it's pretty fucking amazing when you're in that cockpit. Getting a no-death run isn't a walk in the park either. I'd pay good money for this, and somehow it's free.
Just played it (super late, I know we just recently got PSVR) and wow, why didnt they makes full game out of this? Blood and Truth did it with London Heists and that game was pretty awesome, imagine being able to choose your own fighter (I would pick B-Wing or Tie Interceptor) and have missions like Hoth, or Battle of Endor with this?! basically Rouge Squadron VR I'd throw my entire wallet at them if they did that LOL awesome gameplay 👍
@@GrizGaming oh ya! It was Way better than I expected, I mean I've seen videos of it years ago but just recently it was the 1st time to actually experience it and wow! This needs to be done, I know theres a Vader one coming out soon (which is badass too) but flying xwing was so awesome
Yeah, hanging for Vader too. Ever since I laid eyes on a Move controller I've thought "well that's just a lightsaber waiting to happen". It's crazy that it's taken this long to see it happen.
Why DOES THE DEMO HAVE TO BE ONLINE??? Why cant we just download and play it offline??? Some of us HATE THE INTERNET!!!!
